Brent Nistler won my case. Winning was definitely the most important part, my desire to not lose was what caused me to look for a lawyer in the first place. Losing would have been bad, I smile as I write this review in happiness over the outcome of my case. The first thing Brent handled was the media. Having a positive public perception is important to me; Brent ensured this was the case. This was a huge relief and allowed me to continue my daily business with even more support than I expected. I went from hiring Brent on one day to reading his statements in the newspaper the next. By the second day I had probably had several phone calls and numerous emails with Brent. Being able to read his quote in the paper back to him was joyous. During these contacts he explained what laws were relevant, and what the steps in the process could be. He even had done a short search and found several similar cases that he forwarded to me to read. I informed Brent early on that I wanted to be involved in my case, and have an understanding of what was going on. When I was finished talking to Brent I always knew what I had to do next, what he would be doing next, and what we could expect the opposition to be doing. I particularly liked reading other judgments, once I told him this Brent sent me a pile of relevant cases. The confidence I gained from knowing what was happening made this by far the best experience I ever had in the legal system. After explaining many possible options to me Brent stopped and listened. He asked me questions about how I wanted to approach the case, about what kind of outcome I wanted, and about how different factors would impact me. He is definitely a client centered attorney. Once I chose a direction to proceed he was making it happen. Some people want to stay one step ahead. I want to dominate. One step ahead is not enough going into a court room. I want confidence and knowledge that my attorney has five different ways to win. The other attorney knew that there was no match here - I got exactly what I wanted without having to step a foot into court. Brent was by far there first with the most, this what I wanted my attorney to do and this he delivered. Brent Nistler is my attorney. His number is programmed into my phone under "Nistler Law".
