Josh was very professional and extremely helpful with helping my husband with his case. Josh always communicated with us with how things were going with the case and whenever we had questions he was there to answer questions. He always had time to help us with anything we needed. He is an excellent lawyer. We would highly recommend him!

Lindsey Burghardt is an attorney. that in our opinion we could never recommend. In our opinion Lindsey never showed any integrity only biase in a case that Lindsey was assigned to us as the GAL. We found Lindsey to have no integrity, she was not ethical and was very biase from the beginning of our case. Lindsey server as legal council to the opposing family to keep our grandchildren away from us. Lindsey went so low as to contact another attorney in a second case we were involved in, that Lindsey had no part of. When we confronted Lindsey about who contacted the other attorney her response was to blame other parties that were involved in our case that Lindsey was the GAL for. Lindsey tried to blame her unethical actions on someone else. So sad that she can not stand by her actions and tell the truth. During our case Lindsey's Mother passed away and we were told to give her time to greive. We felt remorse for the loss. We did respect her wishes and everything about our case was put on hold. The problem is that we had encountered the same issue. Lindsey didn't give us the same respect or courtesy that we offered her. During this time one of our parents had passed away and while we were out of town dealing with the death of a parent, Lindsey contacted our attorney threatening to file contempt charges against us for owing her company $400, that was three days late because of the timing of passing of our parent. She seems to be a heartless person who doesn't believed in keeping families together. Lindsey told my attorney that it was inappropriate to greive for a loss of a family member in front of children I never heard of such of an absurd thing in my life. So Lindsey believes that being heartless and anger are the only emotions that you should show children. So sad that Attorneys like her are working with children. It was always our belief that the court system tries to keep families together. Not in this case with Lindsey Burghardt as our GAL. In our opinion we believe that Lindsey gets enjoyment by seeing families split apart. If you ever wonder why we have so many violent crimes with with our youth here in Milwaukee it is because Attorneys like Lindsey that are keeping children in families that have little to no respect or value other people. As we were asked to meet with the opposing party by our attorneys and Lindsey to try to come to a mutual agreement. Lindsey gave legal counsel to the opposing party and told them to contact her the next day after our meeting. Lindsey never extended the same courtesy to us. Lindsey treated us like we were criminals even though we don't have any criminal background, not even a speeding ticket! If you were thinking about hiring Lindsey for any legal matters in our opinion we would pass. Since she is composing herself with no integrity I would also question the integrity of her business partners. Just beware of Lindsey Burghardt and her company. In our opinion If Lindsey is assigned as a GAL in your case do yourself a favor and request a different attorney as soon as possible.

My wife had a workman compensation claim that need legal help. The law firm of Hickey and Turin did a wonderful job. They were friendly and very informative though out the entire process. Dealing with them made a bad situation easier. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I would like to take this time and thank Atty.Josh Turim for a great job with my workers compensation case. His professionalism that was shown toward me was off the charts I'm speaking about his expertise, knowledge, and experience. When I would have a new question and call his office even his staff were so great making sure he would get my message. My return call was always in a timely manner and never once he made me feel stupid asking ridiculous questions. He helped the DA’s office send his innocent client to prison. He never contacted his client after he was paid. He never filed a witness list or submitted ANY evidence that could have possibly vindicated his client and proved his innocence. Chernin moved his office and lost contact with him until a day before his trial was to begin. Chernin showed up to trial unprepared and was very oblivious to circumstances surrounding the case. As a result an innocent black man was sent to prison with no solid or physical evidence used against him with the help of Michael Chernin, former Assistant DA Aaron E. Hall and the incompetent and racist (my personal opinion) Judge Rebecca F. Dallet. Michael Chernin is incompetent, yet very crafty with perverting the law against his clients who file a complaint against him . He tells you what you want to hear from an attorney about your case until you hire him and realize he’s a fraud. It may be too late for you when you realize this. The many years he’s been allowed to practice as such is despicable. He targets desperate people and poor inner city families. He’s crooked. You will spend your life trying to appeal if you hire him. He takes client’s money, don’t return calls, lies, don’t keep his word, gives his clients false hope, tells his clients he knows such and such to persuade you to hire him, & he also uses his influence as an “attorney” against you if you complain. DO NOT PAY HIM IN CASH. If you do please get a receipt. That’s the only thing that helped me a little when I filed a complaint with the Office of Lawyer Regulations. I pray he’s exposed one day for his long history of judicial misconduct. My comments are based on my experience and others I know experiences with him. The Office of Lawyer Regulation as well as Wisconsin courts support such behavior that’s why he’s still practicing and still causing people especially poor black families judicial harm. My opinion. My review is not meant to defame him or cause harm but to help future clients make a sound judgment before hiring him on their behalf or the behalf of a loved one. I encourage you all to do research and find out for yourselves how many cases of his are in appeal for Ineffective Counsel; the amount is immeasurable.
