When a close family member was struggling with serious charges we needed the very best criminal defense in Wisconsin. I figured who better than an attorney to tell me what attorney to hire. So, I reached out to a friend of mine who is also a very successful employment law attorney. I reached out to this friend because I trusted him. I asked him who he would hire if one of his loved ones were accused of a crime. Without hesitation he told me, "Stephen Govin is who I'd call if it were my family." We hired Steve (Stephen) without hesitation and from the very first day he was on the case; what I mean by "on the case" is that he just dug right in and the anxiety and fear of the unknown future that had built up in our family soon began to be relieved. What stood out immediately was his sharp intelligence and profound understanding of the law mixed with a kind of sincere yet very serious empathy that is hard to explain. From the beginning it seemed as though he cared about helping our family member not only get the best possible defense but learning from this entire situation. Because he knows what he is doing and how the system works so well he was able to jump out ahead and begin negotiations and open dialogue with all involved parties. He was able to negotiate a plea deal before the first court date and that resulted in avoiding felony charges. He was able to accomplish all of this because he was prepared, sharp, and on point from the very beginning. He came to every hearing prepped and prepared so meticulously that the judge and prosecutor almost seemed amazed at his order and attention to every minor detail and complexity of the case. Like a pit bull he fought for us behind the scenes and yet in front of the court he was poised and professional. I cannot give thanks enough for his work and just for being who he is; a good person AND an excellent attorney. In closing, if you or more importantly someone you love, finds themselves in a serious situation and you need serious representation - trust me - attorney Stephen Govin is the only choice in Wisconsin.

Atty Kohn and Roth, tried to make someone That I know take a Plea on an alleged crime not even committed, with evidence to prove the alleged crime was Not committed!!! How Low can they go? Real unethical and Deceitful Kohn and Roth really Are....
