I hired Miss White in 2015 for a jurisdiction dispute. While I lived in Alabama at the time, my ex lived in Wisconsin where I had moved from. The state of Alabama had issued a Protection From Abuse restraining order against my ex for myself and our son, so my ex attempted to file custody papers in Wisconsin and just hope I didn't notice. However, I was notified by a friend of the proceedings and promptly hired Atty White. Not only was my ex's case dismissed due to lack of jurisdiction, but I was then able to terminate his parental rights due to his abuse of my son! Had I lost jurisdiction, I would have had to fight from 1000 miles away for my son's safety, and it would have been dragged out much longer. Due to the nature of the abuse, I'm sure my ex's rights still would have been terminated, but it would have been much more costly and lengthy. I can't imagine what that would have done to my family.
On top of Lindsey's professionalism, I was astounded with her demeanor and behavior! I will admit that I am a difficult client to work with in court, as I want to be walked through everything step by step. I do a lot of research, and I really want to be a part of it. It's my life, after all! Some lawyers get very frustrated and want me to just hand the whole case over to them and wait. Lindsey never made me feel like I was inconveniencing her with my emails or calls and my detailed questions. She understood how important everything was to me... this is my son! Nothing is more important! Miss White allowed me to be there for every step of the process, never getting aggravated with my need to know every detail. She made me feel safe, like it was going to be handled and be okay, when all I was fearing was my son being abused again. I could not imagine working with someone more professional yet compassionate. I highly recommend Lindsey to anyone and everyone!

I hired Attorney White to assist me with a child support case. My ex wife had lost her job and refused to find a new job in a timely fashion. Once her severance ran out, she tried to obtain child support based on her unemployment insurance. Attorney White prepared and presented the case and demonstrated that my ex was not taking her job search seriously and only attempting to obtain a better child support settlement. Thankfully, the legal action on my part compelled her to get a job and we reached a very agreeable out-of-court settlement. This never would have happened without the advice and guidance I received from Attorney White.

When my wife of 38 years in the summer of 2012 unexpectedly informed me that "she no longer wished to be married" I was totally blindsided and unprepared to handle that development. We lived in Lake Geneva, WI, but we co-owned a business in Chicago. I was so shocked that I was not thinking clearly and despite the aggregate counsel of many friends and colleagues I did not retain an attorney and represented myself in court. Bad idea ! I gave her EVERYTHING she asked for (my income was relatively significant back then) and without realizing it I agreed to a "non-modifiable" decree. Another bad move ! I had not anticipated that in 2014 my business would hit hard times and sales decreased precipitously. An employee was going to have to be laid off and I couldn't do that to them so I decided to sell the place to my sons who worked for me and fire myself ! They pay me monthly and I turn around and send most of that sum to their mother in the form of spousal maintenance. Unfortunately I agreed to a 10 year deal and the last 5 years would see an increase from $2384 per month to $4000 per month ! Considering my current income is not much more than that it simply would not have been possible. Also, agreeing to a non-modifiable precluded the possibility of lowering my obligation. It was obvious I needed an attorney. My regular Chicago lawyer is not licensed to practice in Wisconsin, so I needed to find one who was. I went on the internet and checked out some in the area and I was pretty much just throwing darts. BULLSEYE !!! I called Probst Law Offices because of their free initial consultation offer and was called back the same morning by attorney Lindsey White. Wow, that was my lucky day ! Lindsey patiently listened to my story and was immediately assuring that we would be able to improve my situation. Despite my stupid non-modifiable maneuver, Lindsey creatively negotiated my remaining 5 year obligation from $240,000 to a lump sum settlement of $150,000 ! So, right out of the gate I'm $90k better off. It gets better...she devised a plan in which I could transfer the $150k from one of my retirement accounts to my former wife's IRA and consequently save me thousands of dollars in taxes. I thought this was too good to be true...until earlier this week when we all converged in court and the deal was officially signed...what a relief !!!
Lindsey White could not possibly have pleased me any more than she did. She was always accessible and her assistant Mariana was also very helpful during the process. There were occasions when Lindsey would email me with updates and the time stamp would be very late in the evening. This impressed me greatly. That shows dedication beyond the call. Lindsey has a delightful and kind demeanor that truly makes the stressful parts of the divorce odyssey much easier to navigate. Owning a business in Chicago for decades, I obviously dealt with many professionals and of course their competence was the most important factor in the relationship but I must say that some of them were not particularly likeable and/or pleasant to deal with. That's not the case with Lindsey White ! She's a really nice lady who has great empathy for her client and she makes the client feel that their case is high priority to her and she will work hard for them. That was certainly the case for me. I would recommend her to anyone in the market for a Wisconsin divorce attorney with total confidence they would thank me afterward !

Lindsey did a great job in working through my divorce. She's very prompt and detailed with all her responses to questions or concerns I had. Never having gone through this before I initially felt a bit overwhelmed. However Lindsey's professionalism and guidance throughout the whole process made it much less stressful than I anticipated. Her advice and honesty in regards to the many items that needed to be worked through was greatly appreciated. I always felt she had the best interests of my kids and I in mind. Despite the many cases I'm sure she works through I never felt that I was one of many. From the professional side of things she's extremely knowledgeable and confident but to me it's the personal side of things I appreciated. It's the support and understanding of how this affects the people she represents. I would highly recommend Lindsey.

I spoke to several attorneys from different agencies regarding my divorce. Some were very determined to turn it into a war. I contacted Lindsey and told her what my goals and expectations were. She was very willing to see that everything was met and in a timely manner. I did retain her as my attorney, based on her knowledge and professionalism. During the process she kept very lines of communication open. This put me at ease due to the fact I never had gone through a divorce. I have dealt with many attorneys over the course of many years due to my profession. I wish all my interactions with attorneys would be this smooth.

Lindsey dealt with my 1.5 year lengthy divorce and custody battle. She was prompt, on time and very through in every aspect of my case. She cared for myself and the wellbeing of my child. She went above and beyond when we dealt with a possible child abuse injunction that was denied but she pushed for even better results in the marital agreement . I trusted her with my case and felt she took everything I said into consideration and did even better results than what we even thought we get. She was through in the Marital agreement and really took my Sons needs and safety into consideration. I recommend her and all she does. She is fabulous. If something ever comes back up, she is the one I will call without a doubt. If your looking for a lawyer who has your back, go with Lindsey. Thank you from the bottom of my heart , through my messy situation you have me a new life through the rough times!

Atty. White did an excellent job putting together the pieces of my case that had previously been started by someone else. She was very prompt at getting back to me on questions or detials that needed to be discussed. She always kept me informed on what was happening with my case good or not so good and which direction we should go to get the best results for me.

I am thoroughly satisfied with Atty White. She was very knowledgeable in her field and also came to court very well prepared each time. Atty White made sure that I was aware of all of my options and made suggestions on what would benefit me most. I would definitely use her services again if there is a need and have already recommended her to others. A pleasure doing service with her during a stressful time in my life.

Attorney White handled my case obtaining joint legal custody and placement of my son. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions thoroughly throughout the process. Every email was answered almost immediately which helped tremendously. I've heard from numerous people how hard it was to get their attorney's to respond. I am very grateful I didn't have that problem. I received numerous free consultations and there's no doubt in my mind I hired the right attorney. The outcome was exactly what I wanted and most importantly, what's best for my son. If you're looking for a confident and competent attorney I highly recommend Attorney White.
