Dan is so incredibly knowledgeable in so many areas! He makes every conversation worth it with no nonsense. He has no problem making you feel like he cares about your exact situation, wants, and needs. While in the court room, he has a way with words that literally makes you feel so confident. Legal battles can be a stressful nightmare, but Dan is not in it to be petty or dramatic. He is 100% on point and to the chase to ease the stress of the situation! Our family unit is so lucky to have him on our side!

I first talked with Dan in Feb of 2017 and hired him within a month, he took on my case which lasted over a year. I was so scared I didn't know what to expect or what to even do. I just knew I had to stand up for my daughter and the situation at hand. I was not disappointed by his service. He has wonderful interpersonal skills (very friendly and down to earth) yet knows the laws and how to "read" the court room. Dan made things so easy for me to understand that when in the court room I was constantly impressed on the way he legally worded everything. How can a lawyer be so caring and friendly yet direct and on point every step of the way in the court room? Because he is AWESOME; Dan has it all wrapped into one package! We had 4 different days in court and every day Dan did NOT disappoint, each time he was able to make the courts see and understand my view. Dan had to make some last minute decisions on my case in order to get everything into testimony. I was not even scared of the change in plans because I firmly trusted him and knew he had everything under control. Dan had my daughters and my best interest in mind at all times, way beyond his paycheck. I felt he cared and knew he was on the right side of the situation which made my experience with him feel comfortable even when I was scared out of my wits. I knew no matter the outcome he had done everything in his power to win my case. And that is EXACTLY what he did. With his attention to detail and cross examination, knowing what questions to ask, when to ask them and to what party to get the truth to come out was awesome. I would recommend Dan to ANYONE in need of an attorney. If I am ever in need again, Dan will be the first person I call. Thank you Dan for all your hard work, time, effort and help! People I got smacked with charge after charge. A lot of bogus stuff. But he was able to make most disappear, and got me the best possible outcome. He is very easy to talk to and his staff at his office is also very easy going. He don’t beat around bushes. He’s awesome at what he does. I like to call him. DAN THE MAN. Great lawyer, I got my case to him and he took care of it right away and got it settled. We were in and out of court very quick. I'm sure if we pursued against the other party he would have done a great job. Once you get your case to him, he is on it and gets it done so your mind will be at ease.

I was able to rest easier even upon my first meeting with Dan. Throughout my case, he walked me through with clear detail on where to begin and so-on. My charges were dropped almost completely. I hired Dan upon suggestion of another local attorney, and I'm so glad I listened to the recommendation! During initial consultation and beyond, he listened and gave me best and worst case scenarios based on the information he was provided. During our family law case, he was extremely knowledgable and informative, and he always worked hard to minimize the costs through his remarkable efficiency. He was up front with me, even in matters that weren't likely to go the way I wanted and gave sound legal advice in all areas of our extremely complex case. We concluded with a 2-day trial against an abusive ex spouse and an outwardly biased GAL and still managed to rightly convince the judge to rule almost entirely in our favor by sticking to documented facts and avoiding the typical mudslinging. Expecting to be pulled back into court as often as family law allows, I am keeping Dan as my attorney at least until my kids are 18!

Dan was involve on my "more than nasty 3 years long divorce". The challenges were high as my previous lawyer had things messed up. In addition we were facing an ultra feminist working as a legal advocate, ready to lie in court. Dan was very informative, never try to hide the risks to me. He was very firm on his positions to the other party and highly appropriate to them, using his knowledge and experience as a lawyer while being able to think out of the box. I highly recommend Dan for a divorce if you feel abused either by your ex or the judicial system, no matter your gender. Dan will take you out of the emotional state, will show you the reality of facts, will propose you solutions you can choose from and will work the best as a team with you.

Mr. Norland helped me with an OWI case I had. During the consultation he was straight forward with me and did not mislead me in anyway just to obtain my business. After I hired him he wasn't just present for the court dates and speaking with prosecutors he also did a lot behind the scenes and walked me through different scenarios and what would need to be done. Definitely would use him again for any other legal issues I had.
