Attorney Basler represented me in a custody/placement case for daughter. From the very first conversation I had with Todd he assured me he would fight for what was right, and if that wasn’t in my favor, he wouldn’t represent me. I appreciated his integrity and respected his straightforward candor. Thankfully Todd always believed that what was in my child’s best interest was being placed primarily with me and he kept his word and fought for what was right. He was prepared and calculated in all his legal presentings and he made me feel confident that I would be treated fairly in a court I feared may never place a young child with her father vs her mother. I am so grateful that Attorney Basler was so knowledgeable and well respected in the Sheboygan County Courthouse. Attorney Basler worked through my recent divorce. My ex and opposing counsel pulled out all of the stops with legal maneuvering attempting to take my children from me and fight over every nickel when dividing property. Attorney Basler stressed the important of the long game. There wasn’t a tact that opposing counsel could take where he had a measured response that ultimately won the day. It is my opinion that my ex was very much trying to portray me as villain. She hired a female attorney, we had a female judge, and female GAL. While I certainly had stressed over the inherent biases that could exist, Attorney Basler cut right through it all. Facts, professionalism, and just a complete command of subject matter were apparent with Attorney Basler. He effectively made opposing counsel look bush league. Lastly, and very much worth mentioning, Attorney Basler’s assistant was excellent. Support staff play an integral role in the success of a business. Ms. Rappel was also very professional and worked diligently to assist. Nobody likes divorce, and for that, I wish I wasn’t writing this review and had never met Attorney Basler. But, I can say unequivocally, if you’re looking for a true professional to navigate this tough time of life, you won’t go wrong with Attorney Basler. Highly recommended.

Attorney Basler was recommended to me and shepherded me through a divroce. My divorce was lengthy and my ex wife tried to throw about everything she could at me. Attorney Basler was excellent in assisting in response and always stressed the long game. He was right, and in the end, his advice proved very correct and I ended up getting the better of my ex wife. We never got to trial, thanks largely to Attorney Basler's work, thank heavens. Attorney Basler navigated the opposing attorney's legal onslaught excellently and through his and his assistant's professionalism, made opposing counsel and her firm look bush league. In summary, extreme professionalism, mastery navigaton of tactics, and though it thankfully never came to it, I think Attorney Basler would have owned opposing council in a trial. Highly recommended.

Attorney Basler was appointed as our GAL. I already knew of him from his good reputation. At first I was taken back because of allegations from my ex and then time went on and Todd really understood the case. Todd does not care about the he said and she said, he cares about the fundamentals. There is no fooling Todd which I love. I cannot stress this enough so please read this twice if not more. Todd cares about the children that he is appointed as a GAL for, he truly cares. My daughter greatly respected him and when applicable Todd listened to her wishes.
