Todd was great at listening through the whole divorce process , and not just about my case but also about my life . He showed empathy at a difficult time when it was needed but not expected.

Attorney Todd Basler worked tirelessly for many years to settle my injury from a car accident. Not only did he provide his professional expertise, Todd showed compassion and friendship during a most difficult time of surgery and recovery. My case ended up going to trial. I was I client of attorney Basler's and he treated me like an equal. The positives he showed were informing me of his morals and guiding me in a way where I could trust his judgement. Todd was recommended to me for a good divorce attorney by two of my friends (classmates). I do NOT regret hiring him!! Todd had my best interests at heart right from the get-go. I know at the onset of my divorce I was thinking that he was dragging his feet and I was getting upset that things were not moving very fast, BUT.... that being said I am a person of action. I am a bit impatient and needed to be reminded that in the end he would come through for me. My ex-husband (now) was such a jerk from the onset of being served his divorce papers and in the beginning I really thought that I wanted to stay in our house, and I wanted "stuff" but again Todd helped me realize it was only a house and "stuff". I was in basically a year long custody case with my son’s father. He took me back to court for placement of our son but he was never really around in the first place. I’m only 24 years old and I was very scared about the whole process. Todd helped me so much along the way. He made sure to inform me of everything going on, he explained everything very well to make sure I understood what was exactly happening, he told me what I should do and what I shouldn’t do to help my case, etc. He was very straight forward and blunt and told me what I needed to hear instead of just what I wanted. I, of course, wanted everything, all placement but Todd helped me realize that no matter what, my son’s father would be getting something at the end of it and I will have to accept that I won’t have my son 24/7.
