For my divorce case, I initially hired a "tough" attorney from one of the well known area firms. It turns out that was a huge mistake, as that attorney's attitude and communication was terrible to the point of agitating the opposing attorney, the judge and myself. In an already highly contentious, highly combative and obstructive divorce case I was getting nowhere over the course of EIGHTEEN MONTHS. Enter Attorney Fischer Lorenz - I fired the first attorney and hired Suzanne. She was able to get my divorce finalized in less than 3 months after the previous 18 months of frustration. Suzanne was EXTREMELY timely and effective with her communications with all involved in the case. She was especially effective in talking me through the process and helping to minimize the emotional and financial turmoil I was feeling and keeping me on track towards the end goal. While I, like most people in a contested divorce would have liked to have held on to more of my hard earned retirement funds I have NO DOUBT that if I had not hired Suzanne I would have had a much different, much worse outcome financially. She and her assistant are top notch, can't recommend her enough!
