My husband and I hired Laura Fernandez for our immigration case and everything went well. Everything was well done and we couldn't be more happier. Also her secretary is super nice and helpful. I recommend LF law office for anyone who is looking for a immigration lawyer.

My wife and did our I-601 ourselves and had it sent back to us with a request for more information. I was out of my league and did not know how to proceed. Laura fixed everything for us and we had the waiver approved less than 2 weeks after the RFE was returned. My wife and son are now here in the US. Laura handled my wife's I-601A case, where we ended up going to Juarez, Mexico for the visa interview. Laura was knowledgeable, patient and responsive during the entire process, especially considering her work load in dealing with other clients. While her expertise was a real plus, what also impressed us was her sincere desire to be of help and her genuine empathy regarding our situation. My husband's immigration situation was complicated and involved an I-212 waiver application, in addition to the US permanent residency application. My husband and I sought legal advice (before finding Laura Fernandez) from someone who was quite unhelpful and, ultimately, detrimental to our case. We were trying to get legal permanent residency for my husban, and we were in the process of filing for an I 601A. With our previous help we were denied for reasons that we should not have been. That's when we found Laura Fernandez. On all of the immigration forums that I was a member of, it was always her name that came up, she was always the recommended lawyer. I emailed her and got a response shortly after and we were able to set up a consultation very quickly. After reviewing our case and information Laura informed us that she believed we were unrightfully denied and she helped us file a motion to reconsider. With her help we were able to get the decision turned around and a few months later my husband passed his immigration interview. He is now, happily, a legal resident of the United States, and I fear without Laura's help, we would not be in the same position today.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laura. She successfully handled every single step of my husband's I-601A waiver case. Her communication with us was simply outstanding! She often responded to emails within hours (sometimes even minutes), and I felt comfortable asking her to clarify or re-explain things when I needed some reassurance. Laura Fernandez was our attorney for my husband's I-601 and I-212 waiver. His waivers had previously been denied twice when we had a different attorney representing us. I consulted with a number of attorneys including Laura after the second denial, and I felt that Laura was our best option as far as someone who thoroughly understood our case and the challenges we were facing as well as an attorney who is easy to communicate with, hard-working and reliable. I was not disappointed in any way. She was very easy to work with and gave us clear, detailed instructions on what information she needed from us (e.g. what kinds of letters, documents for proof, etc.) and gave quick, clear feedback when the documentation we provided was lacking in some way. She took the time to create a personalized approach to our case and wrote a fantastic brief explaining our very complicated story (she's an excellent writer).
