I used Jackson and Ojeda for my estate planning and couldn't be more satisfied. Best of the Best Where do i even begin. I had to take time writing this to make sure i got everything i should appreciate this lawfirm with. Jackson and Ojeda LLC was very professional and knowledgeable when it came to my so complicated case that can easily be that one off case. Monique and her paralegal Heather specifically were a beacon of hope for me at a time where my options appeared limited and the likelihood of a satisfactory resolution seemed like a dream. She was calm, collected, empathetic and she offered emotional succor to me that i will never forget. Though it may seem trivial, her sense of humor was all i needed to bring light of a difficult situation. The so many times i wanted to throw in the towel, she became a pillar of strength and assurance that no matter how long it will take or the outcome she would be there till the end and she was. I am a Mom who had false accusations against me regarding my parenting abilities. It was an extremely frightening experience and was due to an ex-husband’s wife making false claims. There on top of stuff and they help alot

I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the representation provided by Monique Ojeda in a recent legal matter. It became clear that my best interests were not adequately addressed, and actions were taken without my authorization, resulting in an unfair advantage for the opposing party. Specifically, there were issues related to the handling of vital documentation and a lack of communication regarding important decisions. Despite multiple attempts to contact Ms. Ojeda via email and phone, there was a lack of responsiveness and a failure to address my concerns. Additionally, there was a significant lack of communication regarding the course of action to be taken, leading to confusion and undue stress on my part. Moreover, I did not receive a detailed summary of the charges at any time until the last day of services, leading to a lack of clarity regarding the use of the funds I had provided. Due to these issues, services were terminated with Ms. Ojeda as my legal counsel. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was presented with a bill exceeding the agreed amount, which was paid before any services. I cannot with good conscience recommend this law firm to anyone. --

When going through a contested stepparent adoption, it can feel pretty hopeless when other lawyers tell you that your chances of winning are slim to none. Ms. Ojeda was NOT one of those lawyers and didn't let the odds stop her. She was just as passionate about our case as we were, and put all of her effort and time into helping us gather clear and convincing evidence that connected to our timeline of events. Monique is creative, assertive, and powerful. She is the lawyer you want on your side! She has brought us so much comfort and security during the hardships of our case, and has provided us with so much support. She was quick to point out lies and inconsistencies in the other party's story, and does not hesitate to object to misleading, false evidence. Needless to say... because of Monique Ojeda, the judge was able to see the children's best interest and agreed to TPR and granted our adoption. If you're thinking of hiring Ms. Ojeda, do it now! She'll even let you hold her Louis Vuitton handbag (the handbag of my dreams).

I worked with Laura Jackson for custody mediation and she was amazing. She gave me great advice, she listened to my concerns and was able to get to a custody agreement in a high conflict situation within 4 hours! She is truly incredible at what she does.
