I met Sonia over a year ago. She handled my two cases for me. One was a personal protection order obtained under false pretenses and the other was a crazy live in girlfriend who tried to file a personal protection order. I was given prompt attention and she handled both cases very thoroughly.

I highly recommend Dan McGuinness. I was impressed with how promptly all aspects of my divorce case were handled. He was thorough in explaining the legal process—I felt well prepared for each court hearing, mediation, and all correspondence with the opposing council. He was confident in dealings with the other side, and always presented my wishes with professionalism and respect. My case involved significant safety concerns in regard to parenting time. I was assured with Dan’s expertise in preserving what was in the children’s best interest, and as a result, the Judge ruled in my favor for all parenting time issues.

I had the fortunate experience of utilizing Dan McGuinness's vast knowledge of Divorce law and procedure. I had a one hour consultation with Mr. McGuinness regarding an emergency motion filed against me by my ex-wife asking to restrict my parenting time. Dan helped me understand the correct procedure to respond and advised me on my rights, plus the best way to present my explanation in my response. Dan's expertise really helped me to prepare the exhibits that helped to validate my side of the case. Dan directed me by showing me the specific statutes in the law to support my response which were key in my case. Mr McGuiness advised me on potential hurdles I could face in my hearing like objections to my testimony and how to have them denied. Also Dan coached me on how to object to the other parties testimony and exhibits and have them sustained, which were successful in my case. These elements helped me immensely. With Dan McGuinness's consultation I was able to represent my self and prove beyond a doubt that the petitioners accusations were not true and the case was dismiss. My kids were back at my home in 3 hours.

It’s hard to find a lawyer that is personable, very easy to talk to and at the end of the day know their stuff. Patanisha Davis-Jenkins fits that criteria. She is very hard working attorney who goes the extra mile and doesn’t price gouge you like every other attorney I’ve dealt with. Ms. Davis-Jenkins did a Trust for me and the material was very organized and concise and she explained it me in a way that I actually understood. I wish I would have found her much sooner. I’ve told my friends and family this is the only attorney I’ll work with.

I highly recommend this attorney. When I sent out some questions to several of my attorneys, no one else responded to me except Brett, and it was when he was in EUROPE on VACATION. He has also stayed up late on a weekend working on my stuff, he even called me on a Sunday to see how I was doing. He is the only attorney that cared about 'how I was doing'. He has a wonderful family; He is honest, ethical, knowledgeable (or will find out), he acknowledges your emails or assigns someone to get back to you. A very good man. I can't say enough good about this attorney.

Top Flight attorney. Was recommended by University of Arkansas Law School professor to represent us against DHS for appeal hearing for our son. Was able to have ALJ decision overturned in district court setting a precedent to have services restored. Does his research, very well versed and excellent litigator. Exceptionally stand up guy and would highly recommend his services.

Mr. Depper was kind but firm in what I would need to do to resolve my legal issues. The first face to face meeting his confidence was apparent and his knowledge of the system was strong. I was nervous and really did not think any lawyer would care to go the distance with my family. Not only did Mr. Depper go the distance but he gave me sound advice, answered all my questions, calls, and messages regardless of how emotionally distraught or anxious I was. He is a very good listener and does his homework. I thought at the beginning of my case there was no hope and I would be railroaded by the system. With Mr. Depper there was no chance of this happening. Even when I was ready to settle for anything just to get the case closed he was still fighting for us. I had a lot of work to do and he was very up front about my responsibilities. With each step he was encouraging, and supportive. He never once backed down. Throughout the case I kept telling myself what he had told me from the very beginning. "Your case depends on how many hoops they throw at you that you are willing to jump through...with a smile on your face". I would jump again. He was right. Even if they set them on fire he was there to put it out. Strong, knowledgeable, supportive, and someone that has a good ethic. I feel privileged to have had him on my side. I was able to walk out with my chin up, and faith restored. Thank you Mr. Depper I could never have done this without you!

This summer I found myself in serious trouble and in need of legal help but had no idea how to find an attorney that would handle my type of problem. After searching and asking around, I stumbled onto the AVVO website. When I found Mr. Depper's page I noticed he had taken the time to answer more than 60 legal questions. I read his responses and I liked the way he answered people. He was very clear, to the point and helpful to those with inquiries. I contacted him via email through his website and he responded a few minutes later. When I met him in person I found his demeanor matched the person depicted in the legal responses. I learned very quickly that I did not have to explain things in a hurry to him. He listened to everything I had to say and let me explain in my own way. He carefully looked through everything I had to show him asked questions for clarification and took a lot of notes. He explained the challenges that I would be facing and explained the general process of resolving my case. He answered all of my questions and when I didn't understand something he seemed to be happy to go over it again. When I walked out of his office that day I felt a tremendous relief. I felt like he had a thorough understanding of my situation and of me as an individual. I felt blessed to have a strong advocate with a solid plan. We had three additional meetings and two phone conversations before my hearing took place. Mr. Depper stayed true to his initial character. He always answered all of my questions , he listened and did not rush me. He addressed every issue I raised by either telling me how he was handling it or making me understand why it was irrelevant. He never allowed our meetings to conclude without making certain I had no more questions. He always invited me to contact him if I had questions but that it was never necessary to contact him since he answered everything up front. When it came time to go to court he met with me and explained how the hearing would proceed. On the morning of the hearing he spent a few minutes with me beforehand to make sure i was calm and did not have any questions or concerns. During the hearing I was a little in awe of him. He was very organized and well prepared. He systematically raised for consideration every issue we had concerns with. He kept everyone on topic including the opposing attorney. When the hearing was over he talked with me again. We briefly reviewed what transpired in the hearing and he let me know what to expect next. A few weeks later we learned that his defense was successful and there were no more steps to take. I am very grateful to Mr. Depper for really hearing me, for taking my case and fighting for me. He is truly a blessing.

It was unfortunate that I need Mrs. Overmann services but she did a amazing job handling my divorce. She is organized, level headed and cuts thru the BS. At the beginning I was unsure because of all the emotion of just going thru the divorce but looking back I made the right decision by hiring her. And I have interviewed 8 or 9 senior level attorneys with 20 years experience.. They would not be any different from the service and knowledge you would get from Mrs. Overmann. I would give her 6x Stars if I could.

There is not room here to adequately express my gratitude for what Hugh Barrow has done for me as I have divorced my abusive husband of 20 years. Hugh is the best! He is a man of absolute integrity. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. In addition to my divorce, Hugh was instrumental in me being granted a very necessary 3 year Domestic Violence Order against my X-husband. Even though my X-husband, a now established criminal, hired a VERY dishonest, incompetent and unprofessional lawyer, Hugh has done everything absolutely necessary to protect me legally. While no one wants to have to hire a family law attorney unfortunately sometimes it is necessary. If you find yourself in the position of needing a family law attorney I HIGHLY recommend Kelly Rizzo. I hired her back in December of 2016 for a custody dispute with my ex husband. She was absolutely amazing. Kelly was on top of everything at every turn. She always clearly explained my options to me before we proceeded with anything. The billing was fair and always very well documented. If I had any sort of question I could ask her through the online portal or call and she always made sure to answer my questions very efficiently. When I had a question on a Friday night I was absolutely shocked and thrilled that she took the time to answer me that same night. I really had planned to be waiting until Monday morning for a response. I truly cannot say enough good things about Kelly Rizzo and the Hunt Law firm. Custody disputes can be very mentally and emotionally draining. Kelly made sure to make the process as easy to understand and navigate as humanly possible.

Kelly Rizzo wasn't the first lawyer I contacted but she was my first consult which ultimately led to my hiring her. Our time together was always well spent and coordinated with every detail taken into account to insure the best possible outcome in my divorce. She was tactful and strategic in her approach to my case, being kind enough to listen to my ideas while being honest and direct about how to resolve the issues at hand. Although things didn't go 100% in my favor I am assured that Kelly lead me down the path of least resistance with the greatest return on investment. Having no prior experience dealing with divorce lawyers or legal battles overall the past 6 months were made less turbulent by Kelly. Her balance of professionalism and amicability with me truly made the difference and inspired confidence and hope in her. She provided me with a binder and online tools to make sure that I was always able to communicate and upload necessary documents for my case. She guided me step by step through this arduous process facilitating even the most strenuous tasks including mediation. By the end of it all it was almost painful to relinquish Ms. Rizzo and her expertise, as if saying goodbye to a caring friend. Jacey is a wonderful attorney, she is a realist that maintains personability. She is a force to be reckoned with in the court room, she won't sugar coat the reality of your situation. She secured my divorce and primary custody of my daughter. I have much more confidence since retaining Jacey in December of 2016. She does not back down, a person would never regret having her in the chair sitting next to them in the court room. Five stars just doesn't cut it but it's the best rating I could give. After meeting with several other attorneys to pursue adoption of my granddaughter, I met with Jamie Hester. Right away, I felt very comfortable and knew she was the right attorney for me. She is an exceptional person in the field of family law as she seems to really care about you and your family as individuals and not just a “case”. Jamie wanted to meet my granddaughter and they both felt very much at ease with each other. I wanted this adoption done quickly and Jamie worked diligently to get it done within my time frame. The office staff are all very helpful, friendly, and professional and I felt her fees were very reasonable. I’ve dealt with other attorneys in the past and this was, by far, the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had. She is a very capable attorney, assertive without being aggressive, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. I highly recommend her.

It became necessary for me to handle some rental property for my parents and I had no idea what my responsibility as a landlord was. My husband has used Mr. Price for several family law issues, and we have been very satisfied with his work and responsiveness, both of which were problems for us with other attorneys. Mr. Price is not a barracuda--he's not out to win--he's out to find a reasonable solution to tough problems, which is what any family attorney should be doing, in my opinion. There are no winners in family court, after all. I love that he is honest with us, even when it's truth we don't want to hear. I respect that, and him, immensely.

Michael has been outstanding in protecting, and guiding me through what has unfortunately been a tumultuous divorce process. He has vigorously protected my rights and successfully defended me through what should have been an amicable divorce. Every step of the way, Michael and his staff have been there to answer my questions, and explain the next steps when I wasn't sure. He also has eased my mind many times when things became almost unbearable during this process. His expertise and longevity in Family Law has proven that the only way to go when going through a divorce, is with an attorney who "specializes" in Family Law. Thank you, Michael and staff. I am only posting anonymously, out of respect for the privacy of both parties involved. I hired Michael, after interviewing three other attorneys in the area, because he took the time to hear my concerns and answer questions on the first phone call I made to him. He spoke with me personally, and didn't just pass me off to a scheduler. I was able to determine with my first phone call, if he was the right fit for me. When an attorney speaks with you personally so you can save time and not have to schedule a consultation weeks out, you make a better informed decision that helps you want to schedule that consultation. In the beginning when realizing my marriage was unsalvageable, waiting a week or more to speak with an attorney was adding to the stress of an already fast moving stressful situation. I was able to meet with him within a few days, and the next day he had filed the divorce complaint and requested a pendente lite hearing to protect marital assets and request temporary spousal support.
