I had spent two weeks looking for an attorney and had recieved the same statement from every one, "there just isn't enough money in it for me sorry and good luck" so I was about to give up when Chris called me late one Friday and said you have been done wrong let see what I can do. I was referred to Jodi Terzich by an acquaintance, and after interviewing her along with a couple of other attorneys, I chose her for her straightforward nature and calm, level-headed demeanor. I wanted an attorney who would truly listen to me, rather than one who would dominate the conversation—a frustration I’ve encountered before. Two years ago, I had an accident where a person died, I didn't had insurance, and to add to that I didn't had a driver's license. I didn't know who to go for legal representation, but a client of mine (from work) recommended him to me and he certainly did his job well. Also, beyond doing his job well, I could see that he is empathetic and that is a virtue that not many lawyers have.

Zachary Gottlieb took over my case after 10 months of getting nowhere with my existing divorce attorney. He not only had to step in and fix all the issues she had caused, he had limited time to do so. He always emailed or called me back nearly instantly. He was extremely thoughtful, guiding me through the process on what was a very complicated situation. The papers were signed today and I couldn't be happier. It has been almost 2 years and I am grateful I had the opportunity of starting my family law case with Katherine Denning. Unfortunately, my situation was incredibly high conflict and I started out without representation and restraining orders on both sides were approved with identical restrictions. After a consultation, Katherine helped with confidence and determination. Slowly that all unraveled as communicating became confusing and eventually I was working with Zach right before a seperate hearing relating to my childrens' home and possessions. When I had cried on the phone due to being overwhelmed I was dropped by Katherine with only 2 days left until a hearing took place. I was referred to another attorney/firm. I'll never forget trying to find a lawyer and requesting that the judge postpone the hearing. I represented myself at the hearing and although i didn't get the outcome i wanted, I am proud of myself for facing my abuser on the stand. His lawyer also messed up quite a bit and was less scary during the hearing. However, the judge had no sympathy that I was lawyerless in which I am getting very used to in the legal field. Overall, my ex' lawyer was agressive and unfortunately my replacement did not put in an effort at all. This is no fault of Litowich, however I do think attorneys should be willing to learn how to deal with victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault before taking on high conflict cases. It's reasonable for clients to be confused or emotional, however If you have a high conflict case that involves domestic abuse, do your best not to become emotional or look for a lawyer who is patient and experienced with domestic/sexual abuse survivors.

I hired Held Law Firm to help me attain a passport for my minor child that was unfortunately not covered in my original divorce agreement. Margaret and her team were wonderful. There were some issues at the hearing, (no fault of Held Law Firm), but Margaret went above and beyond for me. There are not many attorneys in this town or elsewhere that want to “make it right” for their clients. If I ever need an attorney in the future, I will definitely hire the ladies at Held Law. Held Law Firm was amazing in representing me in my divorce. Melanie handled my case and was very thorough in the details. The team over at CHA were absolutely fantastic! From start to finish they made sure that everything was just so and as a result I am legally me. 😊 Not only do I not dread social situations where I may be carded anymore, or going through the airport, I'm excited about being carded (which at 40 is no small feat 😅)
Are the services offered absolutely necessary? No, you can go through this process on your own, but their fees were not exorbitant by any stretch and they were work every penny for the peace of mind alone that it was being done right and wouldn't get kicked back.

My mortgage company used this group to close on my refi. Worst legal group ever, I've called at least 15 times over the last 2 days not a single answer. Left multiple voicemails and not a single return call. USPS lost a creditor check to pay off account and I can't get in touch with anyone to stop payment and re-issue. A joke of a legal group.

They used to be Cantafio and Hammond. Their employment lawyer Christine Breen took my case, when I was at my lowest, just let go after years of workplace bullying, and recently retaliated against for whistleblowing, and contemplating suing my employer. She promised to help, but then was MIA and refused to return calls. Yet she charged $2000 doing work no one asked her to do, as I already signed a severance agreement not to sue. She never wrote a demand letter. Never did anything substantial, except wrote 2 emails. I had to tell her to cease and desist charging me. I had to bring this case to the bar association. She immediately called, yelling, you agreed to pay this amount. We negotiated, and she reduced it by a few hundred. I should've gone to the bar association and got her disbarred. When you are at your most vulnerable, you cannot trust these people.

Tatianna Hackman was with Ohnstad Twichell for a few years. When I was served papers I hired her right away to take over my case. Within a month she left the law firm without notifying me. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, so when I found out she went to ABST law I had reached out to request for her again. I got transferred to her voicemail. I have left her two voicemails . Don’t expect her or ANYONE to return your calls or your voicemails. Emailed her TWICE and have not received a response back either. Called again and asked for Krista Andrews, spoke to her directly and asked if I could schedule a consultation with her. Had my case number for her at the top of my head—she cut me off and said “go online under my bio and send me an email” this was 5 days ago—have not gotten a response. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
