Allowed a PA State Trooper (Tpr. Polcha) to tell HER ... "Watch your Client, he's emotionally unstable" and she DIDN'T tell Trooper Polcha, "You're out of line and very unethical and bias remark on 'personal' attack". What Atty. allows a (thug) PA State Police Trooper to engage in "personal feelings" about their client? Atty. Schreck had no clue in my case.....never represented the facts and engaged in what "she thought" and not what was "in legal prospective". She looked like a scared rabbit w/ headlights right on her. Former Atty's have stated to me she didn't represent my case. Not expierenced ... needs more training before even handling small cases. NOT Recommended.

divorce proceedings that involved many layers of financial discovery and ultimately went to trial. The judgment was very favorable to me, in a way that I did not anticipate when my now-former wife first petitioned for divorce.
When I first approached Jill to represent me, she upon initial consultation informed me of unforeseen favorable possibilities for settlement. Over years of discovery, depositions, motions,
and finally, a long trial, Jill brought to bear her expertise with

Working with this attorney has been an absolute nightmare.
I spoke with her a few weeks after my divorce was finalized. My best friend had recently gone through a divorce & told me to make sure a qualified and competent attorney handled the QDROs portion of my divorce, as hers took an unreasonable amount of time. Emily was recommended by my divorce attorney. I spoke with her a few weeks after my divorce & stated to her my friend’s experience. She assured me my friend’s experience would not be the way she treated me & the process would be smooth & she had good relationships with the plan administrators where my money was invested.
Fast forward to November. I emailed Emily, as I had heard nothing from her in almost 4 months. 25 days later she responded to me. She said she would get back to me the following week. Guess what? Not a word.
1/2/20 I asked her for an update. I received no response. Getting fed up Emily was ignoring me, as well as my financial planner stating this was nonsense, I put her in charge of contacting Emily. She called multiple times and received a lot of dodging by Emily’s secretary. I then let my attorney know what was going on. 1/17/20 — the paralegal finally seems to get things moving.
2/3/20 we were told this would be wrapped up in a few weeks. Today is 3/14. That day has come and gone. Nothing has happened.
Also 3/13 I received a bill from my own attorney for $810. All the billing had to do with my attorney chasing down Emily Carrara and figuring out what was going on. I’m on a fixed income and do not have $810 just laying around for someone to chase this woman down. My own attorney stated he was disappointed in her actions.
The portion of the QDRO I was to receive as cash that was owed to me by my ex husband has probably gone down 20-30% due to the stock market tumble. I am a social worker and that money was to go toward a bachelors of nursing degree I am pursuing, to help purchase a new home so I can get my son into the high school he wishes to attend with his friends & to pay for my kids’ college. I do not know now if the money will be there to make these goals happen. Had this been finalized months ago, I would not be in this predicament & would not have lost a large portion of my life savings.
I am not a person who likes to leave negative reviews. I also always give people the benefit of the doubt. Given these circumstances I would NEVER use this attorney for any reason. She is incompetent & she will not respond to you. Please stay away from Emily Carrara.

Emily Carrara is an exceptional attorney. She exceeded by far any expectations I imagined during my divorce proceedings. She has an excellent understanding of IL QDRO, significant ability to quickly grasp complex situations and distill them into actionable items for your best interest. Wasted state resources making recommendations that would cause my business to lose money, total waste of time, had zero prudence.
Another "law school" paper mill pretender. Lawyer is bringing healing using the law - that is the essence of a doctorate of prudence. This guy is low emotional IQ and offers kindergarten answers.
Truly bizarre. I feel less secure knowing his advice is considered prudence. People have "hated" me but I made money and gave good advice as a lawyer - just oppose corruption.
These are the kinds of lawyer who serve no valuable purpose - literally just a runt on a hog. But perhaps he's grow up.
Keep the Ten Commandments is a good start at least as to the honesty portion. As to prudence, he's around that of a 7 year old - literally recommending a path to a $15/hour wage over and above open markets values of $40-400/hour - while the State was asking for more than he recommended I go work for.
That's who literally stupid the guy is. He had a duty to tell me the best plan as he saw it to "catch up" on back - inflated child support - which was obtained by fraud. He's so stupid he thought saying, "go work at McDonalds" was legal advice - in his ego mistaking an attempted roasting of a single dad with what was legal advice - or perhaps he literally is just that useless.
May be why he's on the state system as no friend or family who know him respect him enough to hire him. As for me - I am a Vet with Honorable Discharged - and certified as a Genius in the records. Over 100 cases to jury or judge - with zero actual loses.
So naw. Dude is a joke. Go sell cars or insurance.

My only regret is that I did not meet Chris and his team sooner. After my divorce was finalized, I began working with Chris to modify the judgement (unfortunately he was not my original divorce lawyer). He was very forthright and knowledgeable and provided excellent advice throughout the proceedings. He also took an aggressive stance when my ex tried to sue for her attorney’s fees. He won the case despite the fact that the judge clearly favored my ex. He won it by diligently researching case law and aggressively presenting our case, all the while being professional. I frankly can’t recommend him enough. I sincerely hope I’m never in need of an attorney again but if I am, Chris will be my first call. Again, I can not recommend him and his team enough!

I was David vs Goliath. My ex had a powerful family and stacked the deck against me, and I thought I would never get to have my son. My ex and her family had done everything they could to keep me and my son seperated. I had nobody to help me. Attorney Pauls was an absolute gift after having battled previous custody issues using a different attorney. We had called her office several years earlier and the impression I got from her assistant Sarah, always stuck with me. I knew we should have hired Heather at that moment. However, for whatever reason, we didn't and had ended up with a terrible attorney. A few years later, we found ourselves in need of an attorney to go back to court and our first phone call was made to Heather. Our case dealt with a teenage boy choosing to come live with his father instead - which involved also having a G.A.L. attorney appointed. Heather is very knowledgeable, professional, kind, listened to our questions/concerns. Heather and Sarah were very quick to respond back with a phone call or email. She was very upfront on all of our options and the possible outcomes, what to expect, and what we should do to prepare. Her sense of humor helped my husband relate to her, and relax, during the stressful times. We are so very pleased with how our case was handled by Heather and her assistant Sarah - they know so much and take the stress out of everything!!! I hired Carol Tribbey 3 times over the past 4years...First time was for family court to get life time child support for my special needs son which she worked hard on paperwork, evidence and finding father to serve (since he was hiding service) we got everything we asked for...Second times was to represent me in a child support hiring my ex falsely requested knowing that family court order states mediation first (which Carol smartly asked
family court judge to place in orders prior to this happening)...Carol got it thrown out without even having the hiring, ex and ex's lawyer was not happy...I was...lol...Last was this past July for guardianship of my special needs son since he just turned 18years old...Carol had to get a process server for a out of state service to my son's dad and she made every effort to find a Processor in the state and made all efforts needed to try and contact him, which made it easy for me to get the full guardianship because true effort was made to contact him...Carol always got back to me in a timely manner, spent time explaining the process, offering me suggestions and advice, helped me to find evidence to support my case and always caring about the outcome...She treats you like family with genuine care!

Ms. LaScala represented me in my divorce case. While she seems very knowledgeable and experienced, I did not feel her preparation for my mediation was adequate. I felt pressured to settle and pushed into an agreement that did not reflect my best interests. She told me from day one that alimony was intended to be restorative, not punitive, but in the end the amount and length of alimony was excessive. It was a long day and I feel like she folded rather than suggesting alternatives. After mediation she was difficult to get in touch with, did not return my calls, and was not available to assist with finalizing the terms of my divorce for things like QDRO and transfer of assets.

Mr. Wood is a very kind man yet seemed more interested in his personal life than taking accurate notes for my social investigation case, which showed in his report, $3,000 dollars later.
He was habitually late to every appointment, he lied to the court stating he works by himself, however, his wife works right by his side and was rude to me via email. The interviews aren’t recorded so the court relies solely on his word.
As I stated he’s kind but it may be time for him to retire. If assigned by a Judge ask for a different social investigator.

I had a post nuptial agreement which she contested since I had issues at the time of the signing of the agreement. She went above and beyond doing a lot of research to see if the agreement could be invalid. Unfortunately there was only one or two cases regarding post nuptial agreements. I decided to settle for what I was entitled to and a little bit more. I was extremely grateful for her guidance and support in helping me get through my recent divorce. I would use her for any futures cases.

Mrs. Mendez helped our family obtain full custody and finalize our step-parent adoption. Mrs. Mendez was there for us every step of the way.
