From the start, Mr. Black has been straight forward regarding my case, with regard to the direction he projected the case would go. Everything Mr. Black has told me that would happen, has happened without fail and in a very timely manner, which can be especially difficult during COVID times. His ability to communicate effectively and thoroughly has always been above reproach. He has ensured all known methods of communications (email, text, phone, etc) are always open, day or night, 7 days week. He, along with his staff has treated my wife and I like human beings, with the up most respect and dignity while going through these proceedings. He has ensured that all of our questions and concerns were answered in a manner that we could understand, as I had never been in trouble before and didn’t understand the process. A special thank you to Mr. Black for assisting in my hiring with the company I have been working hard to get on with. During background checks, my incident was flagged, which delayed my hiring date, and ultimately, possible hire. Mr. Black was willing to discuss the incident in greater detail with the investigators, which resulted in the continuation with the hiring process. He for sure did not have to reach out and assist in that manner, but he did without hesitation. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and willingness to help. David A . Black is a Great lawyer! I was charged with criminal assault misdemeanor along with other property damages and an intimidating police report. It was my first offense but jail time was still a possibility. After speaking to him, I immediately felt peace in mind and Made me feel that i was gonna be just fine. I had a number of 4 different court hearings throughout the months and I did not have to show up to any of the court dates only He did which was absolutely amazing, it took off so much stress. Michael Alvarez was our attorney and left, Daniel Wilcox took over. He played " devil's advocate" so much during this case it caused us to emotionally break. Do not use. Michael Alvarez is at Barreda law. I suggest using him instead.
