I was originally working with another legal team to handle my mother's affairs as she suffered from dementia and could not take care of herself. The other legal team dragged the custody battle out for years, gave me the run-around, misappropriated my mother's funds, and basically made my life a nightmare for nearly 5 years. They were there every step of the way to explain things I didn't understand, or to go advocate for me at the banks, or just to offer the emotional support and understanding that I so desperately needed after years of dealing with an ailing mother and an ongoing legal battle. When I was overwhelmed, they would help take care of any matters that didn't require my personal attention. There were several times I literally wept with relief because they made an otherwise difficult situation so much easier to manage and freed me up to spend time with my mother in her remaining months. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the team at B&A. They truly, truly care and it shows in every single thing they do. They do not just see case numbers, they see their clients as the humans dealing with difficult situations that they are and they act with compassion every step of the way. At the same time, woe betide the person who tries to make their clients life difficult! I have never felt more confident and cared for and secure with a legal team as I have when working with this one. Don't waste your time with any other elder care lawyers. Our loved ones lives and well-being are far too precious to put into the care of anyone but the absolute best.
