While I won part of my appeals case, I received very limited communication and am still struggling to get a response after my appeal case. Rather than use their services, research for yourself. I'm not certain what they actually did to assist in my case. They were absolutely responsive when attempting to collect their fee.

Pershing Square Law Firm more than exceeded my expectations. They were helpful, kind, patient and very professional. Charlie my attorney was very knowledgeable and I would not have been able to win my case without him and his team. I highly recommend. Thank you again Pershing Square Law Firm.

I totally forgot to write this review over a year ago. Horrible practice, unprofessional as one can get. They prey on your vulnerability of the law. The EDD another scam entity of the government accused me of fraud. I did no wrong doing and it was easily provable. They took $1000 to do paper work! That you can do yourself. I didnt know bc it was my first time. Also note They DONT REPRESENT YOU! Run away if you get a lady name “Letti” an emotional train wreck unprofessional foul mouth individual tried to blame me for everything. She called me on the last day of the notice 30 min for EDD Closing time to ask if I sent in documents, that’s Pershing in a nut shell. Lady I pay you to give me notice, you’re my legal advisor. All the bad reviews and their horrible experience are true and correct an I can attest to that. Funny thing is she said “we won the case for you” lmao hahahahahahajahajahahha

i read the negative reviews but still went ahead with hiring this law firm because not many other firms do Pandemic assistance matters. stupidest thing i ever did. they did nothing for me on my hearing date with the judge today! paid $1000 to have my "lawyer" ask me one question that the judge said had nothing to do with the matter at hand!!!!! you truly are better off doing this on your own because this place does nothing for you! i paid for a pretend lawyer that did nothing! I learned that you really do not need a lawyer, the judge mainly askes you questions and no question could be answered by your lawyer, you and only you do the entire talking!! It's cut and dry, you either have what they need or you don't. THE LAWYER CANT CHANGE ANYTHING AND CANT DO ANYTHING IF YOU DONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's that simple. Sadly I learned the hard way, but im leaving this review so other people do not get tricked like I did. Please do read the reviews and do not waste your hard earned money making these shysters rich and you poorer. Here is their secret = THEY KNOW IF YOUR PROOF is good or not, to pass the EDD judges scrutiny. IF IT IS NOT, THEY DO NOT TELL YOU AND STILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WHEN ITS TIME FOR THE HEARING, YOU GET A LAWYER WHO DOES NOTHING AND KNEW HE CANT DO ANYTHING FOR YOU... AND SINCE YOU ALREADY GAVE YOUR MONEY, who's the loser, you or them? Now you have to pay back the money to EDD and add the $1000 you paid the law firm on top of that.

After I was terminated for misconduct that was not true, I reached out to Pershing Square Law Firm. I was in a pinch and had my family to take care of, along with my son (who has autism). Letty was the person who represented me in my case, and I could not have asked for a better attorney. The level of professionalism that she carried with her, along with her confidence let me know that I was in the right hands. She would update me regularly about of my case, and walk me through all the steps that were necessary. After 5 months of no income, I would have my court hearing, and one month after that, I would have my final verdict. The final ruling was in my favor and i couldn't be happier. Im so glad I came across Pershing Square Law Firm!! Was dealing with a EDD situation that I know I wasn’t guilt of. And end up getting Tax garnished, the great attorney Megan was with me from A-Z representing great during my hearing and I won my Appeal. Had Charlie as my lawyer for my EDD appeal. Well technically, since I only talked to him less than 5 minutes my entire case, which infuriates me. He never studied my case at all before court, which ended up with my case only covering 6 of my 12 months of appeal. Due to his incompetence, I had to pay another $800 case to settle the other 6 months of my appeal as a new case. This would've never happened if Charlie did his due diligence in my case or gave me actual time to talk. The only saving grace is the supporting staff, all the non-lawyers at the firm. They are 10/10 incredible. Helped me for hours on the phone, helped me get in contact with EDD, helped me with anything humanly possible. In fact, the 2nd appeal I filed was settled without even going to court, thanks SOLELY due to the admin staff. No lawyer help at all. $800x2, talked to 1 incompetent lawyer in Charlie for <5mins total. Never got to talk to the new lawyer for my 2nd appeal. Admin staff is the only saving grace. If your going to use this firm, make sure to get a different lawyer than Charlie, and utilize this amazing staff as much as you need.

You NEED Pershing Square Law Firm if you want justice to be served! Not only do they know their stuff, but they are real people who care. I've worked with Charlie Minchenberg and his staff for over a year. They have faithfully filed forms and postponements and have done whatever was necessary to position me to win. I could NEVER have done this on my own. I want to give a special shout out to Alison Hernandez, who is an AMAZING Case Management Agent. She is so professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Mental Illness is a Disability, but it doesn't fit perfectly in those boxes on the EDD Forms. Now I can spend some time taking care of my health and I will have some money for my never-ending medical costs.
