I definitely and highly recommend Pershing Square. My attorney Charlie was incredibly helpful & knowledgeable. I’d be honest & say I started rough at first b/c on the day of my prep meeting, my attorney called me and due to my broken phone, I didn’t hear my phone ring. I missed my prep that day and I started to panic and get frustrated. I was very anxious and nervous. Charlie reached out to me and gave me his direct number to reach out to him for anything. I will first start off by saying that we had been going back and forth with the EDD until we decided to find an attorney and I am so thankful that we did. When we called Pershing Square they handle our case fast and effectively! That’s where we met Charlie! Let me tell you that not only was Charlie knowledgeable and understanding about our case, he made sure to connect with both my husband and I even though our schedules were hard to line up. I should have just sent my money to the EDD. Now, I've spent $800 on nothing when it could have paid the EDD. Unfortunately, my experience with Pershing Square Law Firm was more than unpleasant. I felt most taken advantage of by them. They make it sound like you have an easy case and that they handle this every day. I did not receive a call until an hour before the hearing with the judge, and they went on to tell me that my story is not that strong. They provide a bunch of information that should have been spread out, but of course, they don't care. The hearing went terribly, and now I am down $800 and have to pay back the full amount to EDD.

I fell through the cracks! I was shamed by my lawyer for "not working" during quarantine. I had to initiate most of the communication and I felt like I had to beg for information. By the time my hearing came along, after little, to no prep, he did nothing to advocate for me.
