To;dr - These guys are amazing to work with and was an unbelievable experience. I came to Navid and his team with a Child Custody case. I came in with minimal expectations but was rewarded with indescribable results. Without getting into too much of my personal life, the result ultimately allowed me to get more time with my son and transition into a foundation I know my son will be able to thrive in. My goal was to create a foundation in which my son can thrive in and unfortunately the current circumstances did not allow this. It was the ex show, and the status quo is what she wanted. It took about a year before I decided to pursue actual legal action because I was hoping we could be adults about our situation. Me writing this review obviously shows that I was unsuccessful in convincing her the benefits of having a parenting plan in a coparenting environment, soooo ya, i needed some help. I didn’t think I was asking for much. Anyway, I came in this process whose only experience was watching judge judy on the television. I needed to make sure I had the right team on my side and honestly, in my scenario, I was willing to do whatever it takes to protect my sons future. (again, not going into personal details but just know, it got to the point where I questioned my ex’s decisions and whether it was the best interest of my son) I had many consultiations with different lawyers across O.C. until I found Navid and his team. Note: his practice has many different “head”(I don’t really know what to call them ha) lawyers supported by a team of lawyers and assistants. One of the biggest thing I appreciated was this. I filtered out any lawyers working on their own. You have to understand, when you are multi tasking across an array of different cases I’m sure you can imagine the difficulty of keeping all of that information and events organized through the course of months...Ya.. Anyway, I saw this first hand as the opposing side had exactly that on her side. A single lawyer handling communications across her cases, handling negotiations, supporting her customers feelings, reviewing the case notes and exhibits, following up on …. anyway, you get the picture, it’s too much for one person to really do effectively. His team was on it at every turn and what is great is their honesty. I was aware enough o understand that this situation can be an emotional time, so I needed someone that was honest and straight to the point. Emotional decisions are never the best, so it’s good to have someone on your side who snaps you out of that. They were exactly that and trust me, you will thank them for that. It’s better to be aware than surprised or off guard. They will tell you whether what you’re asking for will be tough to accomplish, however, they are always willing to go up to bat for whatever your request is which I appreciated. I had two requests that fit under this category and I requested that we still try. As long as we tried, that’s all that mattered to me at that point. Anyway, as a result, we managed to pull the W for both requests and obviously loved the result. Remember, Navid is a monster in court but his team is also next level. So to manage your expectations, you will more than likely work with his team a majority of the months in preparation for your court date.(A good thing to note here is that, it doesn’t mean Navid is not present because he is always interjecting in the comms when he needs to. He’s always watching~~~ ha) I worked with Brittany and Jennifer who both were amazing people to work with. They answered my concerns,prepped any submitted any paperwork, frequently comm’d with opposing lawyer, kept me updated on recent events, and more. 200 characters left… I literally halved my original post. Anyway, HUGE shout out to Jennifer on court date - she was frequently at the helm of negotiations and comms between the opposing part, she kept me informed, empathetic, friendly and most importantly a huge contributor to the result of my case.

This is my 4th time back in court. I’m currently going through the process of a contested custody dispute with an ex wife who does not play by the rules and less than forthcoming with the truth. Over many years of trying to co-parent and literally begging for my ex to cooperate with me on education, health and welfare issues, it has proven to be fruitless. After having gone through a challenging experience with my last attorney who made promises but fulfilled few, and with what was now happening just 2 years after the last modification of custody, I needed to search of an attorney who knew and cared about my situation and the complexity of dealing with parental alienation. I had spoken with many attorneys who specialize and are familiar with this field and trying to seek out one who would fight for me and my relationship with our son which was most important to me. When I came across Navid he was confident and knew how to handle this situation. On my initial consult he made me feel comfortable in his knowledge of the law, but he spoke to me like a person I knew and not like a lawyer, which I appreciated. After consulting with many attorneys without a clear direction on how we would tackle my problems, his clarity and directness was refreshing. He was clear on the plan on how to approach my situation and gave me options on how we could come up with a strategy to get back my custodial time and stop my ex from violating our existing court orders. He was also clear on different paths we could pursue based on varying outcomes to help heal the relationship with my son, no double talk or speaking in vague terms, Navid is a straight shooter. Navid, his associate attorney Jennifer and paralegal Kimberly were right on the job as soon as I hired them filing the declarations and proper paperwork with my input. Whenever I had concerns, someone in the office was there to speak with and Navid personally returned my text messages when I had concerns that needed to be addressed right away. You know how someone runs their business by the way they treat their clients their responsiveness and Navid runs a successful business because he cares about his clients. Thank you Navid and team.

Lance is very surgical and strategic in striking opposing arguments. I witnessed Lance turning a very convincing plea from opposing counsel against them not just with his expertise on precedents and experience but, his timely on-the-fly objects and counter arguments. Lance knew both sides of precedent cases quoted by opposing counsel and Lance brought the court to the right outcome using the same cases quoted. Lance's passion comes from him being a great parent himself. Navid...he is the master Yoda! Navid jumped in at 6:30pm on an time-critical and very complex out-of-state move situation and within 2 hours, he had a plan. I was distressed about not being able to see my son indefinitely. I had not even hired him when this was going on but, Navid's priority was to protect my son and rest is history! if you are not from the legal profession, in your first conversation with Navid, he may come off as super confident, but, if you get to work with him and his team, you will see the substance backing up that confidence. if his advice seems counter-intuitive, he is thinking of few steps ahead already so trust his guidance. If you want a lawyer who is thorough, present, meticulous, articulate, and fair, you need Naveed. I have seen my best friend go through a divorce from hell, and not only did he help her navigate it every step of the way, he was able to understand the emotional vulnerability that comes with the different situations presented. He fought for her as though she was his own sister, he helped her make all the correct decisions (especially during highly emotional times), and he has never wavered. I have so much respect for Mr. Moshtael and the way he conducts his practice. If you want someone to be worth every penny you spend, and someone who will fight for you in all the right ways, don't hesitate to go with him. My husband and I hired Navid for a contested termination and adoption case. Truthfully, the courts are rather frustrating to ever deal with. I’m pretty sharp, I’ll go read statutes, and paperwork isn’t something I’m scared of. However, when it’s personal, emotions get involved. So I did my research on who to hire to represent me in my case. Navid called me from his cell and we talked for a while. I’ve always been able to text him and get an immediate response if it was urgent. I worked a lot with Brett and Brittany as well who are fantastic. Brittany let me know what was going on always. Brett communicated alot as well and set expectations. We didn’t want to be told the warm and fuzzies, we wanted the truth and they always gave us that. On the day of the trial, we finally reached a settlement. I am convinced the other party was more afraid of Navid’s cross examination than anything. And that’s why I hired him.
