Just this year I was involved in a motor vehicle collision. It happened last September 07, 2023. I remember that I was driving down Route 32 to pick up my wife for work. While crossing the intersection another vehicle ran the red light and T-boned my car on the passenger side. Upon the impact, I felt my body was strongly jolted inside my car with my seatbelt on. I was very surprised and I felt an instant neck pain. I was scared and I immediately called 911. Upon the arrival of the police, they investigated and a police report was made. Both of our vehicles were towed and I immediately went home after the incident. When I got home, I told my mother about what happened, and on September 09, 2023, my mother brought me to the Emergency Room where I was evaluated, and examined, and pain medication was prescribed.

On November 14, 2017, I was a seatbelt-restrained driver of a motor vehicle involved in a collision that changed my life forever. It was my normal routine on Sunday to go out for a drive to relax. While I was driving, I was at the stop and there was another lane next to me. The person suddenly reversed and hit me. The vehicle left and I took pictures of the license plate of the vehicle. Upon impact, my body was forcefully jolted. He denied loss of consciousness during or after impact. I was nervous and scared. I was able to get out of my vehicle and immediately called the police for an emergency rescue. A few minutes later, the police arrived and an investigation happened. A police report was filed, and I hoped they could find the lead of the vehicle. I went home after the incident, hoping that I would feel better. Due to the unfortunate incident, I sustained personal injuries. I suffered from headaches with associated nausea, neck pain, and discomfort that radiates to the left upper extremity, mid back pain, lower back pain, and chest pain and discomfort. Due to worrying about my injuries, I sought legal assistance at the Beverly Law Firm. Cynthia was assigned to be my case manager, she was very helpful and she even arranged for my appointments/treatments. The first initial evaluation I had was at the Inglewood Injury Center. I underwent a physical examination of a range of motion including my cervical and lumbar spine. I also had neurological tests and orthopedic tests. Based on my findings, I was initially placed on a course of conservative chiropractic care and physiotherapy as needed. Also, periodic re-evaluations would be performed to monitor the progress of my symptoms. I was also recommended to undergo an MRI of my cervical and lumbar spine, and luckily there were no fractures or dislocations. During my pre-examination last January 10, 2022, there was some improvement with treatment. However, I am still experiencing residual flare-ups, but less frequent and intense than before. On the next day, I complained of intermittent neck pain that radiates to the left upper extremity, and intermittent pain in the mid back and lower back. I was advised to continue with physiotherapy and chiropractic care, two times a week for approximately four to six weeks. And that was the last day of my treatment with them, I was discharged after benefiting from the care. However, I had another evaluation with the Hawthorn Surgery Center where I was recommended for an medial branch block. I immediately underwent the procedure last March 04, 2022, where I tolerated the procedure well and was discharged in good condition. The incident negatively affected my daily life. I had difficulty lying down, sleeping, sitting in my favorite chair, riding in a car, driving to/from work/shopping, turning my head left or right, carrying objects, and pain even when not doing anything. Since the accident, I have been experiencing anxiety and sleeping problems. It was terrible. Up to this day, I can still remember how I reminisced about how it happened. We still feel lucky that we're both alive. Now, we are moving forward for the best. My wife and I would extend our gratitude to the Beverly team. If there is one experience that I will never forget, that was the time when I was involved in a motor vehicle accident. It happened last June 20, 2022. I recall that during that day, I was a restrained driver with my seatbelt on. While I was stopped at a traffic light waiting to enter the freeway, suddenly a car hit another and the second was the one who rear-ended my vehicle. Upon the impact, I felt my body forcefully jolted forward, backward, and side-to-side. Shortly after the incident, he began experiencing llower back soreness, tightness, and aches. After a few moments, the police officers arrived at the scene and a police report was made. There were no ambulances at the scene, so right after the investigation I went home, hoping that I would feel better.

On June 28, 2021, I never imagined that my life would change forever. It was a normal Monday, the traffic was huge, and the roads were quite busy. However, on this day I was involved in a motor vehicle accident. I remember that I was driving a Honda Civic on the freeway when another car tried to pass, but instead rear-ended my vehicle. My airbags did not deploy, and my car was totaled. Upon the impact, I was scared and very nervous. I didn't know what happened, and I felt like it was kind of a dream. A few moments later, I heard sirens in the area, and from there I saw the police. They investigated the scene, and a police report was made. I didn't agree to be transported to the emergency room. I went home and rested instead. Due to the collision, I suffered from severe pain in both feet, pain in my right eye, headaches, and neck and back pain. The pain in my feet radiates through my legs. I was then later seen by a chiropractor. Chiropractic manipulation was helping me, and it is ongoing. However, I continue to have a significant amount of pain. The pain had been affecting my daily activities. I felt that my lower back pain was worse than my neck pain. The pain is sharp, shooting, throbbing, stabbing, nagging, aching, unbearable in nature not associated with tingling and numbness. I also tried Tylenol, ibuprofen, and muscle relaxant which has minimal relief. So I seek further evaluation of where my previous treatments/medications were reviewed. I underwent a physical examination, and we had a long discussion with the Doctor about the treatment plan. He also strongly recommended that I go for an MRI of my right knee, lumbar, and cervical spine and will be followed in the pain clinic for a future plan of care after the MRI is done. I was also given another pain medication, and for my knee pain, I was recommended to be seen by an orthopedic surgeon. After obtaining the results, I had a follow-up check-up at the clinic where I was recommended to come back for a trigger point injection in bilateral cervical paravertebral and trapezius muscle and was suggested to continue with my chiropractic treatment. However, due to some personal circumstances, I failed to go back to the clinic, and I just finished my chiropractic treatment instead. It has been a long journey for me. A lot had happened after the collision. It was really tough. Imagine the lack of sleep and the anxiety that I went through during these difficult times. I couldn't even do intense daily activities due to the pain. I have endured everything because I wanted to feel better. I know it was traumatic and I felt sad at times. However, I have gained my strength by praying hard and thinking positively. In my own opinion, the best thing you could do when you experience such a traumatic incident is you should surround yourself with positive people, and practice your mindset to be positive as well. Not long ago, I was involved in a car accident. It occurred last September 07, 2022. It happened quickly around 8 in the evening. I could still recall that I was driving on Mays Street towards University Boulevard. As I began to pass by HEB, a distracted driver who wanted to go in the same direction, suddenly began to cross over from the other lane. Out of panic, I did not have time to brake and as a result, my vehicle collided with the passenger's left side of the other vehicle. My car got totaled. I can still remember how my body jolted forward and backward. The airbags did deploy, but still, I was shocked and very scared during that time. I immediately called the police, and a few moments later the police arrived along with the paramedics. A police report was made, and I found out that the lady who was recklessly driving was on her phone when we collided, and there were witnesses. I was given medical assistance by a paramedic at the scene. Due to the damage to my vehicle, I was sent home by a police car.

I was involved in a motor vehicle incident that occurred last July 28, 2023, I was driving on Highway 325 towards Burns. During that day, I was with my wife and daughter. We were at the stop sign when suddenly another vehicle rear-ended our car. Upon the impact, I hit my head on the headrest. I felt dizzy and was very scared for my wife and daughter, I asked them if they were okay and thankfully they were. I also had difficulty in bending, lifting my arms, writing due to my hand pain, and everything.. I mean I find it difficult to do everything, there were no times that I couldn't say OUCH when doing anything. My wife also felt the same. It was indeed a traumatizing experience.
