My wife was represented by Brian after she was involved in a terrible car accident that left her arm broken, needing surgery with multiple screws and plates being put in. More than that, this accident disrupted our lives in so many ways that aren't really pertinent to this review, except for the fact that Brian was a calming presence within all of this turmoil. Not only is Brian an excellent attorney, he truly cares for his clients and takes the time to make sure they are comfortable with everything he is willing and able to do for them. Beyond just reaching what we considered a fair settlement, he provided my wife with the peace of mind she needed, in order to move beyond this accident. These things are never clean cut and easy, but Brian was as tenacious (towards the defendant) as he was caring to my wife and our family.
If you want an attorney that will not only get you what you deserve, but will make sure that the process has the minimal impact on your life. Brian is your guy!
We hope to never have to use him again, but if we do find ourselves in that situation, we know he will take care of business!

I was represented by Brian Breiter and team after being hit while walking at a crosswalk and suffering a traumatic brain injury. Within 6-7 months, Brian settled my case for an amount greater than I could have possibly hoped for. He did a phenomenal job.
At the time of the accident, my family convinced me to get a lawyer just in case my medical bills mounted (which they did). I was apprehensive at first; I'm not a litigious person and have never been involved in any sort of lawsuit. But I knew that I was not at fault and that my injuries were serious and would likely be long-term.
The process of choosing an attorney was incredibly stressful. I didn't have any friends or family in the area to recommend a personal injury lawyer so I had to rely on sites like Yelp. We all know that sites like these can be immensely valuable, but also that you need to read reviews with some skepticism. Brian had so many rave reviews that I briefly worried that some could be fake. But then I thought, if the guys has this many good reviews he would obviously get a ton of business from other Yelpers. If the quality of his representation was worse than expected, you would expect a bunch of bad 1 star reviews. Brian has virtually 0 negative reviews. He really is that good.
Before deciding upon an attorney, I called 6-8 firms and spoke with them over the phone about my situation. For those of you in need of personal injury representation, I recommend that you do this as well. I was able to learn a lot about the process and got a variety of opinions about how I should proceed. Most of them, including Brian, thought that my case would likely take years to resolve (which makes it all the more impressive that Brian got the case resolved so quickly).
The only negative to calling so many lawyers is that they all became very interested in taking my case. Personally injury law can be a very lucrative and competitive market and I knew I had a good case, so this wasn't too surprising. In the end, I decided to meet with three lawyers in person. The final choice was between Brian and a larger, downtown firm that is also well-regarded on Yelp. Both seemed quite capable, but I decided to go with Brian because I was more confident that I would be working with him personally throughout the case. Brian assured me that if the case went to trial or arbitration, it would be him representing me. In the larger firm, I suspected that I might have had to deal more with other members of the firm. It also didn't hurt that Brian's fees were also much more reasonable.
Throughout the case, Brian was extremely easy to get in touch with. I could email him, call his office, or even call his personal cell phone. Brian or Mark (another lawyer at the firm) kept me up to date with everything and let me know if I needed to do anything. They made sure that I was receiving the proper medical care and offered to front several of my medical payments that health insurance would not cover.
At the end of the case, we needed to repay my health insurance for what it had paid towards my treatment. Brian, who fittingly teaches a class in negotiation, was able to greatly reduce what we needed to pay. When my settlement check was ready, Brian offered to leave his family's Passover celebration on a Saturday to meet with me and get me the check so I wouldn't have to wait any longer.
I really wish this accident never happened, but I can't imagine how much worse off I'd be if I didn't have a great lawyer like Brian at my side.

I don't know what would have become of me after my motorcycle accident if Brian and his staff had not been in my life. Someone once related a hard L.A. truth to me when I moved here: it's not a matter of 'if' you get hit, it's just a matter of 'when'. Sadly, when car meets motorcycle, the results aren't pretty and these incidents seem to just keep rising. I was fairly fortunate in mine but there is no doubt I would have been less healthy and out a lot of property had I not read the reviews on this site and then sought counsel with this amazing office. Brian and Mark reassured me that this accident was not something I caused or asked for. Their professional demeanor was one quality I admired, but it's the intangible qualities that radiate out of this office that are inspiring me to write this review today. Each time I called the first thing we talked about was how my physical therapy was coming along. They worked tirelessly to find therapists who were close to my home (something all Angelinos will appreciate) and further, that they were under the umbrella of my insurance. When my insurance lapsed during the course of my treatment, they again reassured me not to worry about it. They remembered little things, like my wife's name and my passions professionally. When it came down to negotiating with the hospitals, Brian and his staff got everything reduced. I understand fully that Law offices are under no obligation to do this and, as it doesn't effect what they receive they often don't go the extra mile. You won't feel that way here. Here you can actually have faith that against all stereotypes that someone actually does care. During my final meeting I expressed to both Brian and Mark how truly grateful I am -and I really meant it. If you ride a motorcycle in L.A.- enjoy! Remain vigilant and take advantage of the 300 + days of sunshine we have! But, God forbid, some irresponsible driver hits you- or causes damage to your body, do yourself a favor and call. Their legal knowledge is vast but they don't forget the person they represent. Plus, Brian loves The Simpsons- so you know he's a cool guy!

Brian and Mark are amazing at what they do, are very personable, funny, and caring. You can stop reading the review here and just hire them but to give more details of our case and the process keep reading:
My boyfriend and I were in the unfortunate situation of being hit by a drunk driver one evening while driving home from a nice dinner. It was a traumatic experience; neither of us had been in a major accident before, let alone one that totaled two vehicles. Our physical injuries could have been a lot worse given the situation but luckily we were both able to walk away, until the next morning when we could barely move. We went to urgent care and saw our primary doctors but the back and neck pain didn’t go away. We didn’t know what to do in the situation and, being new to California, didn’t have a good network to seek advice. We turned to Yelp and decided to give Brian a call after reading through his positive reviews. The initial meeting with Brian and his colleague, Mark, was straight forward, going through the details on the accident and all of our personal information. They even recommended doctors for us to see in the area.
Brian and Mark suggested that we finish all medical treatments before moving forward with the case to ensure all costs would be accounted for. This included seeing several doctors, multiple bouts of physical therapy, pain medication and acupuncture. This took time and nothing ever “cured” my pain. I still cannot sit in certain positions or for long durations without my back hurting and I get these awful twinges in my neck. I didn’t want to go the invasive epidural route so I was happy when I finally found a way to manage the pain through PT exercises. I told Brian I was done with treatment and off the case went.
We provided all of our medical bills, out of pocket expenses, etc. and they ran with it. We had to appear for a deposition with the other side’s attorney at their office which was a little nerve wracking but we met with Brian and Mark ahead of time and prepared how to get through it. I would compare it to a bad interview, but it wasn’t as awful or scary as we thought it would be. We waited. In the background, Brian and Mark were hard at work trying to get all they could for us. They were good at informing us of where they were in the process, always returning our calls or answering questions.
Finally, a settlement came in that we accepted and here we are. We learned that it can take a long time to go through the motions of a case but the wait was worth it. Brian and Mark aren’t the type to get it done quickly just to get it done and move on to their next case; they truly want to get what you deserve.
Again, I would highly recommend Brian and his team. They are professional and caring and will help you through every aspect of your case to make sure you get the outcome you deserve.

Brian did an amazing job with our case and I would highly recommend him.
Our family member was killed in a motor vehicle accident and it was very traumatic for our family. We live in NJ and did not know any attorneys in Los Angeles. An aquaitance recommended Brian, and it was the best decision we made.
Brian had incredible patience dealing with our family members, especially my mother-in-law who was especially mentally distraught over this accident. He made us feel as if he genuinely cared about us and we were all part of the same team.
He was able to have the insurance company settle for the full term limits and my mother-in-law did not have to testify or give a deposition, which would have been extremely difficult considering here mental state and the fact that she is on the other side of the country.
If you have a personal injury issue, do not hesitate to call Brian, you will be in very good hands.

Brian is amazing. Not only as an attorney, but as a person. I won't go into all the details of my accident, but my wife and I had just moved to California about 6 months prior to my accident and were still trying to get settled. Obviously, a horrific accident (motorcycle) does not help make us feel comfortable with our situation.
While I was in the hospital, my wife (we had only been married 7 months at this time) started doing all the paperwork with insurance companies and trying to get any disability benefits from my job or the state, but we hadn't been here long enough be approved, so we were worried how we could stay afloat.
My wife called a few different attorneys, and Brian was one of them. Besides our personal beliefs in the amazing work that he has done, it was comforting to know we were making the right choice with Brian back then because when my wife was asked what other attorneys she was considering as she called around and she mentioned Brian Breiter, they all said, "oh yea, he is great. Go with him and he will do right by you." That is proof to Brian's abilities. He is being recommended by the 'competition'!
With everything we had on our plate, Brian made it extremely easy. We would just send him/his office paperwork about what was going on with the hospital and he would say, "Don't worry about this side of things, I've got you, you just focus on healing.' I truly just put faith in Brian that he would do everything he could to take care of us, and he went above and beyond expectations. When I was well enough, he had me come into the office so we could meet and chat in person and he is the nicest guy ever!
Without too many details, Brian took our situation and concerns into consideration and used his connections and skills to make a terrible situation have some positiveness to it.
I would recommend Brian to anyone in need. He is honest, understanding, thoughtful, and fun. Oh, and obviously fantastic at his job :)
Thank you Brian and everyone on your team for helping us!

I don't even know where to begin when trying to describe Brian. He was one of the biggest advocates in my recovery and always made sure I had the proper care. He also knows where to find great food wherever you may be.
My story goes like this-
I was in a horrific, near death accident when I ran through a plate glass window while vacationing a little over a year ago. The injuries sustained required emergency surgery and my road to recovery was no where in sight. My friend put me in touch with an attorney who ended up not being very communicative with me and was not fighting for my case. I felt at a loss and was nervous the outcome would not be promising. Medical bills were piling up and I had lost mobility in my foot and had severe nerve damage.
Miraculously, I ran into Brian when he so graciously held the elevator door open for my crippled self at a movie theater. We got to talking and I discovered he was a personal injury attorney. My boyfriend and I spent the night combing through reviews on Brian and decided to reconnect with him. It was evident that my case was not going to be easy to fight and Brian spent the next few months discussing my case with experts. We decided to give it a go and I knew Brian's expertise and compassion combined would provide me with a better outcome than the initial attorney working my case would. At the very least, I knew I had someone who would go to extreme lengths to fight for me while I was focused on recovering.
After about a year of physical therapy, I was finally beginning to snap back to my pre-accident self; however, I still had a pretty bad loss of sensitivity to my foot, unattractive scars on my body, and secondary pain in my knee.
My case finally came to a settlement during mediation about a month ago. It was very tough and the defense did not want to budge. In fact, they wanted to give me a fourth of what I ended up receiving. The only reason I received 4 times as much expected was because Brian knows how to present the facts and evidence. I hate to say this, but I am convinced if I stuck with my initial attorney, I would have ended up with zero and the facts would have been the same. The reality is, you have to make sure you find an attorney that doesn't just accept every case presented to him/her. You have to find one that understands your circumstances, properly vets any doctors he/she may send you to, and stays in communication with you. Brian is that guy. I am overjoyed with the outcome presented and cannot thank Brian and the rest of his office (shout out to Mark and Rita) enough!

Everyone has a passion. Mine was playing collegiate water polo, and after a high speed motor accident it was almost taken away from me. Thankfully, I met Brian Breiter and his staff, who completely handled the legal side for me while I focused on returning to my athletic career. Brian drove out to my house in Agoura on a Friday evening to meet with my family and see first hand how bad my accident was. I will never forget the way he looked me in the eyes and promised that he would justly and efficiently handle the legal side of my situation. Being injured is never easy, but the people around you, particularly the ones that genuinely care about your wellbeing, make it better. Brian Breiter is one of those people. He helped me in my darkest hour, and made a real difference in my life.
If you or a family member are injured, I highly recommend the Law Offices of Brian Breiter. Let them handle the legal side so that you can focus on rest and recovery. They are personal, prompt, and always ready to answer questions and help you out.
Everyone has a passion. Brian Breiter's is helping others.

I was hit by a car and wanted to avoid any lawyers but I realized I couldn't handle it on my own. I was afraid of losing more money, but Josh took on my case and gave me a lot of confidence despite the stress and uncertainty of how it could all. The whole situation was like a dark cloud over my head.
He and his staff were very professional the entire time, and his paralegal Lisa was so helpful, too.
But more than being professional, they were just really GOOD. He really cares about everyone's well being and fought hard for me. My little kids thought he was great, too! And guess what? He got the settlement which was beyond satisfactory for me.
Like Batman, I hope to never need him again, but if I do, I would do it all over. And my advice to anyone in any accident is to call him first.

Brian and Mark are truly amazing attorneys and very dedicated. I got into a pretty horrific car accident and from day one they worked very diligently on my case. They were attentive and they had a genuine interest in ensuring all my needs are taken care of. Getting into a car accident can be very scary, but they were there for me every step of the way of the way. I am very happy with my settlement and I will never hesitate to recommend his firm to anyone that needs help with a personal injury case. Can't thank you guys enough for all the hard work you have done for me!

Brian Breiter is one of the best attorneys I have ever met. He deserves all of the numerous 5 star perfect ratings he has received.
I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle on Sunset Boulevard after a training ride, and 6 of my ribs were broken. A car coming from the opposite direction made a left turn right in front of me. There was a lot of traffic, and he made a turn very quickly without first looking to make sure it was clear. I was taken by ambulance to Cedars Sinai Medical Center.
I was in a lot of pain and couldn't sleep, especially the first few weeks, because there was no comfortable position I could get into. When I was able to manage to fall asleep, I kept waking up again in the middle of the night because of the pain.
Afterwards I tried to find the best personal injury lawyer I could. I searched on Yelp and found that he had a lot of 5 star ratings. That is very rare since most people hate lawyers and have a lot of complaints about the lawyers that they had dealt with. I received many referrals to see other attorneys, but I chose Brian Breiter because of all of the excellent reviews and praise from his previous clients on Yelp.
He was able to negotiate the best amount possible from the driver's insurance company. He also significantly reduced the extremely high medical bills for me. I didn't have insurance at the time. Most attorneys don't even negotiate the medical bills for their clients.
He promptly returns phone calls and answers emails.
He really care's about his clients' well being. More attorneys should have the professionalism, integrity, and compassion for his clients that he has.
I highly recommend him and will be referring everyone I know to him.
