Fraud Fraud Fraud!!!!!! Please be aware my story is similar to the rest of the 1 star reviews given below . She thinks because she dresses all fancy in a suit and tie that she’s a big shot lawyer huff is nothing but a fraud. She did nothing for my case in Monterey county and only came to see me once!! And for all my court dates she sent another lawyer on her behalf smh she’s sorry as hell and took my family’s money and didn’t do a damn thing for me we fired her immediately!!

This man scammed me he took the case never did any legal work and stole most of the retainer. Now he seems ro be deleting my review Will take action against him soon He is a fake scammer hisvreviews are fake be aware do not hire get a real lawyer not rhis fraud Now he blames the clients for his incompetence I am going to small claims after i this don't waste time arguing with this loser

Beware of Deceptive Practices: My Experience with Huff Legal! I recently engaged with Huff Legal PC after being contacted by their receptionist, lured in by promises of assistance with my legal case. Unfortunately, my encounter with this firm turned out to be nothing short of a scam. From the outset, the receptionist assured me that they could indeed help with my case, even going so far as to assert that they wouldn't take on my case if they couldn't assist me. This false reassurance led me to book a consultation and provide a deposit of nearly $400. However, when the consultation call came, it quickly became apparent that the receptionist's promises were empty. The lawyer assigned to me was not the one mentioned, and worse still, he offered no new insights into my situation, merely rehashing information I was already aware of. To add insult to injury, the consultation lasted mere minutes before I was hit with an outrageous fee quote of $50,000, far beyond the scope of my case. Feeling duped and deceived, I am left with no choice but to report Bar associations for malpractice and deceptive practices. My experience serves as a cautionary tale to others—beware of false promises and deceptive tactics employed by this firm. The receptionist after didn’t pick up my calls and was very inappropriate. they earned money from listening to what my problem with my neighbors were. then on the court date I had to represent myself as he sat there looking pretty. almost 10K. and I still have another court date to go to. they are lackadaisical representation. find somebody else unless you want to pay for nothing. they told me the bass that the complaints were based on were groundless and they have no case against me. well at the CHRO hearing attorney huff NEVER BROUGHT IT UP! huff NEVER SAID ONE WORD AS A COUNTER DEFENSE ON MY BEHALF....NOT ONE!!

I would give a 0 if I can. Make sure you check all the invoices to make sure you are being charged correctly. I had to do many follow ups with attorney Huff and his staff, to get an update on my case. I was told “you pay for legal services not results”. Till this day, I don’t understand what they really did in my case. When I hired them, they set the fee high because they thought the case will go to legislation and then after some time David told me it will exceed 5x more. All the money in the trust was used up just by filing paperwork and communication that we had to give up and pull our case and I asked Huff to refund the leftover money in the trust. He said he will and how he would like to proceed forward and won’t bill us. I was really touched by what he said. Then once I received the left over trust money check, I asked Mindy their assistant for my invoices, she took months to give to me. When I calculated it everything, I reached out to point out their mistake in the invoices and Mindy did say she agrees there was a mistake in the billing. Instead of refunding our money, attorney huff replied with how I should be ashamed of myself for asking for my refund after him doing pro bono work for me. I just wanted my refund, he was the one who offered me to work without billing. Then we blocked my number, and stopped replying to any of my emails. I am writing this review today because I did promise Huff I will write a review but he wanted a positive review but nothing was positive in this case for me to write about.

Prompt with scheduling, upfront, and honest.

Huff is a fraud my mom hired him and instead of him coming to see me in court to discuss my case he sent someone on his behalf he also sent someone on his behalf to show up to 3 of my court dates and he was trying to push my court date out 3 months even the judge was not okay and demanded he show up at my next court date (which he did NOT) I am writing this review so people with not have to go through what me and my loved ones went through he took our money and did nothing for us if I can give a 0 stars I would

Huff legal did a great job all the people even huff helped me and was there for me . Also every time I sent massage or needed information about anything going on they keep me posted. They were on the ball fast at getting it going and doing there best in every way to be there and get throw it
