I was fortunate to be referred to Jeff and he helped me in an employment matter where the company was making misleading accusations for my code of conduct. Jeff listened very carefully and really took time to understand the issue and then he discussed with me on how we would respond. Jeff was very knowledgeable about the law and he was able to phrase a response that demonstrated that he knew the law by pointing out specific rebuttals to the proposed accusations. Jeff was also willing to spend extra time and he wasn't ever worried about billing me for any extra time and he was willing to spend extra time (without charging me) and answering any questions that I had.

I consulted with Mr. Curtiss about a small claims case. I wanted to sue a major electronics corporation for breach of contract, but I was intimidated by whole process. Mr. Curtiss was extremely honest from the start about what kind of help he would and wouldn't be able to provide. In our one-hour consultation, I learned how to file the small claim, fill out the paperwork, prepare a trial brief, and put together my exhibits. In the end, I was able to obtain an out-of-court settlement to my satisfaction. I would not have been able to confidently proceed with my case had I not consulted with Mr. Curtiss. He was very patient helping me fill out the paperwork and took my case seriously. I could not have asked for any more from our consultation.
