I had to enforce an employment agreement with an uncooperative former employer. It got a little bit ugly, and took more time than it should have to get to the finish line. Jeff knew all the statutes/labor codes that came into play in my situation, which was helpful in understanding what leverage we would have if we had to go to mediation. Jeff helped me stay calm and not overreact to inflammatory emails from the employer/employer’s attorney. It took longer than it should have because of the employer’s intransigence. Jeff recognized that, and as a result, went easy on some of the time he had to put in to respond, which I really appreciated. We ended up getting 95% of what I was seeking, which I felt was a very good outcome.
