As a first-time car buyer and college student, purchasing my new vehicle was a necessity rather than a luxury. Unfortunately, the excitement of becoming a first-time car buyer was short-lived because little less than a year with 2015 Dodge Dart; it began to have issues. After numerous visits to the service department, the car continued to have the same issues. I was a few miles over the 36,000 mile warranty and hoping to get assistance, I naively reached out to the manufacturer. The manufacturer gave me the run around for 2 ½ months and kept insisting I didn’t have a Lemon. We just received our settlement of over $30,000. That included all our down payment and other fees. It was an amazing new 2018 sports car... but the air conditioning didn't work well.
