Workman's Comp is NOT something you want to do on your own. I was offered a "nuisance settlement" by WC which was insulting. Ms Shaw and her office took my case. Be patient, because WC does NOT make it easy! After 2 years of necessary doctors visits and depositions, the case was settled at 4 times the amount that WC had originally offered. I think she did an excellent job.

Leslie and her staff are the best ever. They get action in your time of need. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional representation. They know their job very well and are always looking for your best interests.

Leslie and her staff are very competent and responsive. Leslie personally answered all of my e-mails and her support staff were considerate and respectful. I found Leslie to be very knowledgeable and she would sometimes tell me things I did not necessarily want to hear, but she was always right. She will guide your case and she knows what is and what is not possible. This could be the reason for some of the negative reviews (sour grapes and people that think they know more than they actually do). Leslie has always demonstrated great respect, compassion and an abundance of knowledge. She is compassionate but she also knows the law and she will tell you whether your case is likely to go forward or not so you do not waste your or her time. I had a very challenging set of circumstances after I was injured in a workplace accident. The adjuster assigned to my case was very difficult to work with. From the beginning I knew I need help. The Law Office of Leslie Shaw came highly recommended and Leslie was gracious enough to take my case. Leslie and her entire staff were excellent communicators for the entire process. All the staff exhibited a high degree of professionalism by promptly answering all my questions, helping me prepair and submit reimbursement forms as well as staying on top of the adjuster to ensure I continued to receive my temporary disability payments when they were, apparently arbitrarily, stopped and or delayed. My case recently resolved with an award and life time medical coverage. It was a long road but Leslie was there with me the entire way ensuring I received proper and prompt medical care. It was through her office that I was immediatly referred to a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon who performed my medical procedure. As far as the cost for all of these services? I was quite frankly embarrassed by how little I ended up paying and I told Leslie's office manager as much when I went in to sign my stipulation. She was worth ten times what she was paid just in the amount of work she and her staff did but I couldn't come close to putting a value on the piece of mind she provided knowing someone so competent, experienced and trustworthy was handling the business end of my case. Thank you Leslie Shaw and staff....I hurt my neck and back at work. My employer wouldn't send me to see a doctor. A few weeks later they laid me off. I met with Leslie and she sent me to see Dr. Jerome Hall, one of San Diego's best Orthopedic Specialists and Spinal Surgeons. She also told me that I was eligible for Temporary, Total Disability payments from the insurance company. Two weeks later a check arrived and they've continued every two weeks. Now, two years later, I've had spinal surgery on my neck and lower back. It's been a long two years. The insurance company had denied about 90 percent of the treatments my doctor had requested. Leslie appealed those denials and they were all overturned. Whenever I've had questions I would send her an email and I would get an answer within a few hours. She also keeps me updated through the mail. I get copies of all documents pertaining to my case. I also see her in person, at her office, to discuss where we're at and where we're going. I have referred others to her and will continue to do so. Without her lawyer skills and hard work I might have become a cripple and probably would have become homeless. To date, I haven't paid her a penny. In the end, I don't think the fee she'll receive will be enough for all the great work she's done for me. Thank you Leslie Shaw and staff.
