The impact of Mandy Leigh's work on behalf of two of our children will have an impact on our family and kids' lives forever. She was so knowledgeable about the process and rights for children with learning disabilities, and confidently and expertly guided us through the processes of 504 meetings, IEP meetings, and further testings our kids needed. Our eyes were opened. School districts can easily take advantage of parents because the average parent just doesn't know their rights and what proper services and accommodations schools should be providing. The money invested to have Mandy look at education records, to meet with school personnel, and to advocate for what your child needs to succeed is priceless. Mandy Leigh cares about helping children and families and is an invaluable advocate for families needing assistance.

Mandy and her whole team were truly dedicated to helping our daughter achieve what was needed to further her education. They allowed us to feel comfortable through a difficult time and help us reach a settlement agreement with the district . Our daughter is currently at a new school where she belongs and is thriving! We can’t say enough about what Mandy and her team have done for our daughter.

Mandy helped us with our son's IEP and our objectives for full inclusion in general education. Before Mandy started working with us, we were struggling with an aggressive school district. Once Mandy took over my son's case, it was a totally different experience. She confidently took the reigns and was able to calmly and proficiently navigate a very challenging situation. She is resolute, proactive and extremely knowledgeable. She brings a ton of knowledge on student special needs and additional school system resources. She gets things done. For any meetings, whether routine or legal, we would never want to go without her at our side. She is an integral and well respected part of our team, and we would highly recommend her for any case. Mandy is what you'd call a "lawyer's lawyer": knowledgeable about both the legal and human dynamics, with a formidable network of experts and other forms of assistance, and able to be aggressive when necessary. That combination caused an obdurate educational district to finally engage in reasonable discussions. In the end, we got an agreement that works. It all took longer than we thought, as it usually does for legal matters. Which is why w also appreciated the level of communication throughout the process. It was notably better than we had experienced from other firms we have dealt with. We did not have to hound Leigh Law, they called us to keep us informed. Even outside their normal working hours. Legal stuff is never fun, but we definitely picked the right partner.

Mandy and the Leigh Group were recommended to us at a time of great need, and my wife and I are very happy with the service we received from them. I was intentionally held behind a locked gate along with mu boat against my will for days by the Vallejo City Marina Harbormaster. That now ex-harbormaster has come to grief over other matters and has been terminated. I have strong witnesses, pix and documentation to prove my claim. Hopefully you will find my case has merit.

Mandy is honest, direct, and will not simply tell you what you want to hear; she is one of those unique individuals who understands the nuances of the disability *and* how to navigate the IEP process to get the best possible outcome for your child. Leigh Law Group's fees are fair, and they have always been very clear about potential costs associated with the courses of action that were available to me. As a single mom with two children, I have to be diligent about where my money goes, and hiring Mandy and team remains one of my best decisions -- I only wish I had found Leigh Law Group earlier in the process. You won't find better advocates for your child.

Mandy Leigh is an amazing attorney. Without her intervention and expertise my son would be a different person than he is today. Thanks to her immediate response and action when all chips were against us, she came through like a knight in shining armor. I am forever grateful as our son is excelling in his environment today. I personally would not recommend this law firm, our experience was bad enough I feel we were mislead. I have filed a complaint with the state bar over this. We were told we could precede forward how we wished with the case by one of the lawyers in the firm by email. Shortly after we received another email from Mandy threatening not to represent us anymore Over asking to take some stipulations out of a CWE form. We were honestly wondering why the switch in behavior in just a couple days difference. We feel this was not an uncommon occurrence during our about 6 month long relationship with this firm. We were told several times they would go after attorney fees for us and now we have no lawyer to do this, so we have suffered the loss of all our attorney fees. We are not a rich family so this is a huge loss for us. It was also stressful dealing with what we think were aggressive emails and threats from Mandy. Please beware, if you have the money to lose and don’t mind dealing with someone aggressive towards their clients then I feel you may be fine. If you are barely pulling it together to hire them like us, I personally wish I would have gone somewhere else. If you have a hard time dealing with aggressive people, I also wish I would have gone somewhere else. We even heard from a professional colleague their opinion on how difficult they felt Mandy was to deal with, I will not name this colleague as I would hate for Them to have anything come of them sharing an opinion. We appreciate that persons honesty and should have gone with our gut instincts much earlier. This was after he had already hired her though. As far as Mandy’s response on here I have several threatening and extremely rude emails from her after we dismissed her from our legal issue. I’m working on finding them to post. It was extremely stressful for us dealing with Mandy. I also am requesting Mandy not to share details of my private legal matter on here again. I do not wish for my private matters between her and I to be shared. I honestly have nothing nice to say about my experience with Mandy Leigh.

Mandy Leigh and her staff helped us when we didn’t know where to turn. Mandy got the job done and we are eternally grateful for the help and education our daughter had a right to. When everyone let us down Mandy stood up and fought for her! Highly recommend Leigh Law Group.

Treated our family in a condescending manner after our son had experienced abuse at his school (diagnosed with PTSD by Northern California Diagnostic Center after what he went through with his school) and berated us for being unable to electronically send them information after the Tubbs Fire. Would NEVER recommend especially with how rude Mandy Leigh was. Update as of 10:44 PM. Just received this email from Leigh Law Group: "You wrote the below false and misleading review ”Truly terrible attorney experience. And the original excerpt from 10/19/2017 when we were attempting to send items electronically after Tubbs (unsuccessfully): "I indicated to you on the phone when we spoke this week that I would review some of your relevant documents in order to determine whether I was interested in taking your case on contingency or at all. I specifically asked you to scan in or mail copies of documents for this very reason. Instead you showed up to my office unannounced with a box of what appeared to be almost 200 documents." Leigh Law Group, please leave us alone. You've done more than enough damage.
