I whole-heartedly recommend The Leigh Law Group. In dealing with a complicated expulsion hearing, Mandy Leigh was knowledgable and professional. We appreciated how responsive she was to our needs; Mandy was available to us whenever we had questions or concerns. The Leigh Law Group really showed that they cared about the outcome of our case. When fighting for your dyslexic child, it is not as straight forward as one might think. Most dyslexic children have an average to above average IQ, thus making the IEP or 504 process more complicated. Mandy gave us several options to choose from in handling our situation, which allowed us to make the best financial decision that was affordable for our family. Leigh Law Group was able to make our complex case, with our school district, less stressful. They were able to clearly state the "in's and out's" of dealing with the school and to explain the law in detail to us. Mandy Leigh of Leigh Law Group is nothing short of special on several counts. My legal matter was in the area of Employment Law, one of her specialties, and I was immediately put at ease when I met her. Mandy assured me that I was in excellent hands, that she knew how the grievance process worked, that she was comfortable working with union representatives, and within that framework. She became part of my support system in that area, putting in countless areas working on my case, responding to my emails no matter what the question, but at the same time not sugar coating my situation. As the parent of two special needs children, I know first hand how important it is to advocate for your child's academic needs. It can be particularly overwhelming when navigating special education assessments, behavioral interventions, disability rights, the IEP process, goals, interventions, and accommodations and knowing what is a good fit for your child. When communication with the school district/IEP team withered, Mandy Leigh and the Leigh Law Group were able to come in with a plan of action and assist our family in obtaining the services our child was entitled to quickly and efficiently.
