They maybe don’t get to filter the cases they receive but in my case they are seeking to collect a debt on a fraudulent charge brought against me and have been harassing me for years. You will never get a penny to support this corruption how dare you. Move on you represent a billion dollar corporation attempting to collect a $500 fraudulent charge. You both have already invested far more than that in wasted labor. Move on. Airport Van Rental is corrupt thinking they can pawn false damage charges against previously loyal customers. They’ve lost many thousands and will continue to lose many thousands from me in the future as I will NEVER give them a penny again.

The worst customer service, I called then about a bill for my car insurance, after I proof to the that I had sent all the papers to cancel my insurance, they still sending me the bill and they don't answer my phone

Called to make a payment on some account i have no information on none whatsoever, the representative aaron lavi gave me 2 options I picked one and then he tried to charge an additional fee after he collected my card info. The fee was for making a payment. Makes absolutely no sense

Paid my balance to the original creditor then these crooks come back saying I still owe the balance for 1 I've never spoke to anyone at whatever this company is suppose to be so they can keep on waiting Balance zero so won't be getting anything else out of me.

UPDATE: Paula was a REALLY great help! She was efficient and understood customer service. She was able to explain the process to me without any mishaps. Paula was kind, gave me the same respect I gave her. Once I realized this company has a few different locations, I called the one in Illinois as I made the mistake of calling the LA location. Glad my debt is paid and no longer hanging over my head. Let me tell you, this group of Black people are amongst the worst customer service and/or collectors I've ever seen. I called to ask about paying my debt in full with a request of a deletion letter. These people were extremely combative. Talking over me in attempts to control the conversation which is very ineffective and had I not exercised a great deal of control, the conversation could have gone a very different way. Now that I realize I can not only make payment online and speak to a more customer service oriented team, that's what imma do. I've dealt with many collection agencies, I was a collector in my past before, and this company would fair better if they hired better quality people. Arguing for the sake of arguing, versus Negotiating to achieve a common goal are two very different things. Js. If it were my company, when someone is calling to pay the full balance, there's no way I'm hanging up on them without getting them 16 digits.

This business is very unprofessional!! The first rep I spoke to was very friendly and cordial. The second “manager” I was referred to was very rude and cold and probably shouldn’t be working in the customer service industry with her terrible phone skills. Let’s not get started with other “ manager” who talked like he had marbles in his mouth and was breathing too heavy in the phone! I explained my situation to them and that I realized it was my mistake and was going through a hard time and the third manager responded -“ well this is money owed to my client so there’s nothing I can do for a refund.” Then continued with his heavy breathing in the phone and awkward silence. He ended call with a dry, cold, heavy breath “ok bye.” I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and placing a block on my acct to not do business with this company anymore!! I will deal with issue with the original company. You’d think during a pandemic, people would be more kind and compassionate and have empathy but I guess not. Very sad world we live in these days. It’s not when the fact they wouldn’t help me, it’s the unprofessionalism and lack of empathy from the employees at this business.

I reached out to Caine & Weiner in order to get some information about the debt I owed. The lady that I had the pleasure of speaking with was extremely rude. Her response to each of my questions were vague and unclear. When asked when they report full payments to the credit bureau she refused to give me a clear answer. She also told me that once my debt was paid in full, I would need to negotiate with the agents in order to have them report it to the credit bureau in order to have it removed from my credit report. When I asked why I needed to negotiate with agents to have them do something they are supposed to do already I received no response. I informed her that it shouldn't be this hard to receive information about how to settle a debt with Caine & Weiner. I do not recommend dealing with this company.
