After reading many reviews they are a scam. Caine and Wiener just placed Progressive Insurance on my report effecting my score 11 points immediately. I had Progressive 5 years ago but left in good standing with NO BALANCE DUE.

I mean they’re debt collectors so let’s just be honest 🤷🏼‍♂️ anyway, I demanded a validation of the debt. They sent back a document that says “you owe this debt” to Progressive. No contract, no signature, nothing. I replied back that I am asserting my rights under the FDCPA to validate the debt. We’ll see what they say

Placed a "major derogatory remark" on my credit score, without investigating the cause of the dispute (a bad charge that I told my credit card to decline) so naturally I dislike them and hereby award them 1 star in response.

I had a small charge owed to an insurance company that I didn't know about. When I found out I promptly paid it. They stopped answering my emails after I paid it. I requested many times for them to remove it, and it still appears on my credit report. Low class, bottom-feeders.

Rude and terrible customer service. I paid my debt then was told we'll talk about taking it off my credit report!?

They won't remove my debt after i asked for a good will removal

This was a very bad encounter with this company they put a collection on my credit bureau which was paid in full on April 6th 2020. I went to get financing for a new truck and was told i had a collection on my bureau from progressive insurance for $204 dollars the collection company being Caine and Weiner. I leased a vehicle on June of 2020 and this collection was paid and taken of my credit and had no problem. Here it is January of 2023 and they put it back on my credit even though it was paid on April of 2020 my score was affected by 80 plus points I called and talked to a representative from Caine and Weiner and was told they did not do this. She told me there was nothing they could do but send me a copy of the paid collection and I would have to handle it on my own with the credit bureau. There is only one way this could be put on my bureau I was told by progressive Ins and that was by the collection company so dissapointed this is how these companies ruin lives for people that are trying to get there lives back on track they also told me it would take 90 to 120 days for it to come off very disappointed customer.

These people are stealing your money. Pay the money with the original creditors you owe your debt directly with. I paid them 500 over three weeks ago, no proof of payment, but my bank Statement. They they still hasn’t reported to the original creditor.

This agency has been trying to collect from me a debt that does not exist for some time. They want to charge me insurance money that I don't owe.
