A few months ago I was involved in the biggest mistake of my life, the cold hard truth of facing a DUI. I have never been arrested and or been involved criminal activities. Yet, here I was facing an unfamiliar situation with many questions and worries. My relative who hired Peter to represent her during a DUI dilemma she experienced highly suggested I call him immediately and seek legal representation. After, speaking with Peter and his law office team Erika and Espi, I felt completely at ease. When I had my first face to face meeting with Peter, he told me exactly what charges I could potentially be facing and provided sound legal counsel which he deemed to be in my best interest. The day of my final court hearing Peter represented me in my abscence so I could attend to my professional duties at my office. Later that afternoon I received a very enthusiastic phone call from Peter and he delivered the best case scenario that could of came of a terrible situation. I was ecstatic, the sense of relief that came over me was incredible. Even after, my final court date I needed an extension on processing a condition of my DUI, due to my work schedule/load I knew that I would not be able to meet the deadline which could lead to a warrant for my arrest. Furthermore, knowing the severity of the consequences I called his office and spoke to Erika, I inquired if Peter could possibly help obtain me an extension. I was not promised or guaranteed anything other than the office would see what they could do. An hour or so later I received a VM and an email confirming that Peter would make it happen and get me exstension necessary. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? WOW........, I work in a customer/client satisfaction professional environment and to receive the same satisfaction that I strive to deliver in my place of business was impressive. Peter Liss has many years of experience and is well known at the Vista Courthouse. He helped my family thru a horrible arrest and negotiated the lowest possible charges available. Peter was able to communicate the best possible deal with the D.A. and save my family the awful ordeal of going to trial. He also got the fines reduced. All I can say is... Peter Liss SAVED MY BUTT. Big time. You see, I did something really dumb: I crashed my brand new M4 while drag racing. And my BAC was over .1%. To make matters worse, I had a friend in the car who ran right before the cops showed up (and they were PISSED when they figured out someone had fled the scene.) I was charged with a DUI, and found Peter on Yelp. His reviews were superb, so I decided to give him a call. On our introductory phone call, Peter managed my expectations. He said "Look... you crashed your car with a .12% BAC. There's about a 70% chance you're going to be convicted of a full DUI. But I'll do my best to help you." I appreciated how direct Peter was – in other words, he wasn't trying to sell me the world, and he spent quite a bit of time asking me intelligent questions about the incident and then educated me about our strategic options. So I pulled the trigger and hired him. BEST MOVE EVER. Because Peter worked his magic, charmed the DA, and convinced her to drop the charges down to a 'wet reckless'. For the record, a 'wet reckless' comes with significantly less penalties, and you don't have a DUI on your record. Bottom line: If you (like myself) made a stupid mistake, and you've found yourself in some hot water... then GO WITH PETER LISS. He's your best bet.
