Rachel Allums and the staff at Allums Law made the process of creating a trust so easy. Prior to the appointment we received a video explaining how the whole process works and information of why we may need a trust to avoid probate. Rachel takes her time and answers all questions. She is very thorough, detail oriented and compassionate. Nobody wants to think about death but planning for it is so critical, especially if you have dependents or property. I went through the probate process with my mother’s estate, which took years and a lot of money to finalize. I have already recommend Allums Law to my friends and family. I was first referred to Joel by my sister who had gotten in a bad accident a year before mine. I called him, set a meeting, and met at his old louisville office. (Its a stunning building.) He's a laid back guy, has a good sense of humor, and is very professional. He's not a slip-and-fall-my-neck-suddently-hurts lawyer. He's legitimate, not a lazy or self serving lawyer. When I started looking for legal help with my workmen’s comp case, I was frantic, frustrated and overwhelmed. I was in pain and no one seemed interested in helping me. Then I found Greg and his amazing assistants Dina and Andrea. I suddenly had a whole crew in my corner ready and willing to fight for me. I retained Shane Henry and he was upfront from the beginning and did not sugar coat expectations and cost. Communication was amazing with him and Amy their paralegal. They work very quickly and you see all communication with opposing counsel which I did not get from the attorney I had prior to retaining him.
