I had a consultation with this attorney and then chose to retain her. She discussed all of the things she would do during the consultation and those things unfortunately never happened. I was transparent in the consultation that this was a complex custody case. When she entered an Order to Show Cause for my case, it was terrible. I have shown that to attorneys and all of them asked where the rest of it was and stated it wasn't entered properly either. This attorney was 40 minutes late to my hearing and unprepared. When the Judge asked her questions about my case, she looked at me and told me to answer the Judge. I could have done a better job representing myself. I do not recommend her for any custody cases. She sent me invoices where she double billed me for the same service on two different occasions amounting to approximately $1100. She sent me invoices with someone else's address on them. It took about a month for me to get refunded the rest of my retainer. Hiring her was a terrible experience and I am confused by the good reviews. When I retained another attorney to represent my case, he told me that people can pay for good reviews, and he has had cases against this attorney, and she was consistently late and unprepared. If you are looking for representation for a complex custody case, please find another attorney for you and your family. If you look at her account on Avvo, there are five star reviews being entered every two days. I was told that is a site you can pay for good reviews to be posted. I would pay attention to the lower rated comments and reviews for her on lawyers.com. They seem to describe her well. I wish I had seen those before I retained her.
I am editing this so I can respond to JoAnn's response. I spoke in detail to her about my previous attorney in which JoAnn stated I needed to retain her to further eliminate more damage being done by my previous attorney. I did retain JoAnn and never thought I would have ended up in a more damaging position. There is nothing pending on the Court calendar for my case because the attorney I retained after her did their job, was prepared, and on time; the case has been resolved with my new attorney. JoAnn was also out of town excessively, took several weeks to file an Order to Show Cause which was created terribly, consistently missed phone calls from the opposing attorney, and rarely responded to me. I also don't recall her giving me any advice about my case once she was retained; she was only my attorney for one appearance when she was 40 minutes late, unprepared, and didn't know any details of my case. I wish she had responded to me as quickly as she did to my review when she was my attorney. I also wish she put that effort into my case when representing me like she did in her response to my review. I would highly recommend anyone want to retain this attorney for a complex custody case look elsewhere, and at the very least, complete several consultations with attorneys to make sure you find the correct fit for your family and your case.

I called Sarah Gold's law firm to ask about forming a LLC in New York. I did some research prior to my call but was confused as heck and was not confident in dealing with the state. Ms. Gold walked me through the process, answered my questions, and told me her fee. I thought the fee was competitive, keeping in mind it included state fees and public notice fees. We communicated online, she had to search to see if my LLC name was not prohibited or duplicative. I also asked for her to set up a DBA and she did that. It was so obvious that she new what she was doing, a true expert professional . She did all the filing, advertising and DBA in a day and I had what I legally needed hours later. she emailed me copies of the application filing, receipts and most important my official LLC. I would use Sarah Gold without any hesitation and I highly recommend you do too.

I contacted Tasha after trying to handle my divorce alone to no resolve. Tasha had me re-filed and divorced in less time than I had waited for my initial court date when I filed alone. I had spoken to a few lawyers prior to hiring Ms Jackson, her consultation was the first one that made me feel heard and understood; like she truly saw the big and small picture. I felt like an actual person instead of another client.
Thanks to her the court process was simple and even my minor stress points were given attention and care through the whole process.
I believe she specializes in custody, but she handled my whole divorce and put down all the mischaracterized accusations thrown my way.
I have a fair and equitable post divorce and suffered no serious damages to credit or other typical post divorce losses. I got the 50/50 custody arrangement I petitioned for and see my child often, and have equal authority towards her well being.
I would hire Jozefa again in a heart beat, and truly believe that if I hired anyone else I would not have been successful in defending myself.

I had contacted him to ask questions about my accident. As we talked he informed me that I'm not his type client that he would be representing the other driver. However he continued on the phone with me till I fully understood the whole process. He didn't rush me or charge me. I am so grateful for his knowledge and time. Matt Malouf and Jazmin Rivera were wonderful to work with! They made it simple and even when my claim was inevitably getting dragged out by the insurance company they made me feel comfortable with the process and explained my next steps in an easy to understand way. Unbelievably good experience working with this team. After my spinal injury, I was lucky enough to be referred to this law group and was treated with excellent care, both by the medical treatment I was given, and the communication and results by the Goody Law Group team. I worked mostly with Greyson but also had the privilege of working with Taly and their case manager Maki.
I can’t recommend these guys enough. They were kind, professional, and far exceeded what I thought my experience might be throughout the process. While going through a rough time in my life, they truly were a light at the end of the tunnel.
