I recommend Burnham Injury Law as a very responsive and diligent law practice with their client's interests always as the highest priority. I was informed of all the processes along the way and the team always responded to my requests for information quickly and with all the details I needed. I am very pleased with the outcome of my case and completely trust their integrity and transparency. They don't just lean in -- they lean forward and jump over all obstacles to make a client happy with the outcome.

IF YOU'RE A DAD (or mom) SEEKING CUSTODY OF YOUR KID/S. DO NOT HIRE Rebecca Amat y Leon!! From my 6 months and $10k of experience working with her it is in my opinion that she does not believe in father's rights. Like many of you seeking help in these family matters I read review after review and decided that I would give Burnham my business. Upon my initial consultation I met with Rebecca Leon and told her what my issues were and what I was seeking. My issue being I have a 3 y/o daughter born out of wed lock who's mother was intentionally keeping me from seeing or having parenting time with my daughter once the relationship ended. The mother even moved out of state with my daughter without even saying a word to me. I needed to have my daughter brought back and have my parenting time enforced. Rebecca informed me that what I was asking would be difficult to attain but we would at least try. The Bad: Early on in my case I stated to Rebecca that I wanted her to file for temp orders for parenting time because I didn't want to wait 6-9 months before I could spend regular time with my daughter again. She convinced me that we should negotiate interim parenting time with the opposing party and wait for the CFI (child family investigator) report instead. This was extremely expensive vs filing for temp orders like I initially requested. Because of all the back and forth between my attorney and the opposing counsel so many unnecessary hours got billed trying to negotiate all the logistics and then having to file that agreement with the court just so I could see my daughter for a few hours a day over the weekends. This entire process took place every time I wanted to spend time with my daughter. Once the CFI report came out it was very unfavorable in terms of my daughter only being allowed a total of 40 day with her dad for the entire year and barely going up the following year. After expressing my concern to Rebecca that this was unacceptable and I wanted more time with my daughter she basically takes the position that this is what I should just accept. She gave no push back on the report, no fight or anything. Instead she tried to convince me that seeing my 3 y/o daughter only 40 something days a year was a good deal. Soon before mediation Rebecca tells me to come up with my own concrete parenting plan since I didn't agree with the CFI's plan. Keep in mind I had never been through a custody battle and this overpriced attorney is telling me to go figure it out on my own. So I did and when I submitted my plan to Rebecca for review, she basically say's yeah there's no way the opposing party or judge will enforce this. She even suggested that I go to the mediation without counsel! Instead of helping her client come up with a more favorable parenting plan she feels that it would be a waste of her time and my money to have her at the mediation! After much back and forth with my own attorney I implied that I'm paying you and yes you need to show up to mediation. After 3 hours or so mediating both parties were able to agree on many issues. One of which I felt strongly about was the parenting time which went up from approximately 40 days annually to almost 100 days! Had I took Rebecca's advice and just accepted whatever the CFI suggested I would have never got this many days. At the end of mediation the mediator asked Rebecca if she took notes to write up a MOU on what was agreed upon. Rebecca didn't even take notes, she had to ask the opposing counsel to write up the MOU. Last straw, on our final status conference call Rebecca stated to the judge that I would like to spend father's day with my daughter. The judge asked the opposing counsel is there a problem with that? The opposing counsel basically held a hearing over the phone and Rebecca said absolutely nothing to defend against his inaccurate statements. Just silence from her. So the judge agreed with the opposing counsel and I was denied having any parenting time with my daughter on father's day! Needless to say she got fired.

Car Accident: Randall Gause is a superb lawyer and excellent to deal with. He took his time with me, listened extremely well, got me the care I needed, and provided an excellent settlement. He knows the law extremely well, is kind, informative and gets the job done. His Paralegal, Stacy Mullen is top-notch. She is attentive, caring, hard working, compassionate and a pleasure to deal with. I recommend Randall highly and would definitely request his services again if ever needed.

I agree with all other reviews that say 5 stars is not enough. I had multiple cases and EVERYONE I had the pleasure of speaking to/working with at Burnham Law from the receptionists to paralegals/lawyers were pleasant, professional and had a human side that some other large legal firms lack. Lisa Frigo set up my protection order case and Laurie Jo appeared with me in court....both of these ladies are amazing and very comforting. Aaron Belzer represented me in a lawsuit I was served with which was definitely a terrifying experience. Aaron is patient, rational, understanding and clearly loves what he does; as he should since he does it so well. I would refer anyone I care about to Burnham Law and I am grateful they were there for me through my nightmare of a legal experience....they were definitely the "positive" part of what I had to deal with!!

What is something nobody wants but everyone wants to win? A lawsuit. Jessica and Jean and Montica are as professional as they are caring and understanding. Of course, my family (big family) would prefer to have met them under different circumstances. THANK YOU
