After getting my first DUI I was very scared, but McDowell was so comforting that he put my mind at ease. Though I could have been punished far worse (1 year in jail, $2,000 fine) I followed Mr. McDowell's advice every step of the way and he was able to get an amazing deal from the DA that kept me from serving jail time. Mr. McDowell was with me every step of the way and answered every question regardless of the hour. I'm truly amazed at the quality of lawyer and care I received at such an affordable price.

Mr. McDowell is a very understanding Lawer I was accused of a dui but they tired to drop it down to dwai and he was like no we're going to fight this and we did and we won I can say he will not make you accept anything that you don't feel like accepting point of it all he knows the law very well.

Josh made dealing with my case easy. Being from out of state, I had no idea what my options were or how to go about my situation. Mr. McDowell was informative and helpful the whole way through up until the closing of my case.

Josh McDowell is an experienced professional with a demeanor that can bring even the most frantic back to reality. He will work with you not only on his [surprisingly reasonable] lawyer fees in a payment plan, but also on what your priorities are to get you the most agreeable results possible. On top of all that, he responded within hours when I asked him a question about my case *years* after the case was effectively closed. I imagine that kind of dedication to client peace of mind is hard to come by in any field, much less in this one.

I was pulled over for a DUI (pulled over for speeding, no injuries or damage) about 2.5 years ago now and I thought my life was completely ruined. I went to Josh for a consultation and he reassured me that I would be the first person he's seen go to jail over one DUI. He asked me what my priorities were (what kind of fine I would be able to pay, willingness to do community service/alcohol courses, etc.) and basically gave me a customized plan to get going from there. The entire time, his calm and confident demeanor really did provide some much needed comfort. After getting the total cost of his services (which was very reasonable, considering it was a flat rate even if we had to actually go to court), his office assistant provided us with a very amenable payment plan. I eventually got an appropriate sentence (community service, alcohol reeducation classes, 30 day suspended license, breathalyzer in the car) and it was made so much less painful because I had Josh to defend me and then walk me through everything. After about two years, I had a question come up on a job application that was worded a little confusingly; I didn't want to lie about anything, but I also didn't want to open that door unnecessarily. I sent Josh an email with the question and he got back to me by the end of the day with how I should legally answer it. It's incredible that after two years he was still happy to look up my case and answer in such an incredibly timely manner. If you can't tell, I had an amazing experience with Josh McDowell. At least for DUIs, he knows the law and the system inside and out. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends in a tight spot. (For the record, I haven't driven if I even suspect that I might have alcohol in my system since that night. Uber, Lyft, traditional taxi, call a friend, anything but driving. I still had a hefty fine to pay and plenty of community service to soberly think about my actions, but I can't even imagine going through all of that without Josh's counsel.)

Where to start, I am beyond pleased with the outcome following charges of a first DUI. I have never been in trouble with the law and this was beyond overwhelming for me. After interviewing many local lawyers, it wasn't hard to decide on hiring Josh to represent me. Josh went above and beyond to make this process as manageable for me as possible. My BAC was very high, and I should have gone to jail, but Josh was able to keep me out of there and get my charges reduced to a DWAI. Josh represented me in a TRO case that was unjustly filed against me and won the case. His knowledge and experience prevented the TRO from going permanent and interfering with my life. My career was on the line my back was up against the wall, and I was in desperate need of a DUI Attorney. Mr. McDowell came to my rescue!!! Joshua McDowell charged me a flat rate fee for my DUI/DWAI case no matter how many times we went to court there was no additional out of pocket expenses. My B.A.C was between .051- .079 I explained to him that it would be detrimental to my career if I am charged or convicted of an Alcohol related incident. He never promised me anything as far as the outcome of my case but he was efficient and attentive and work diligently on my case to get the outcome that I wanted. I received my first DUI and was beyond scared. I was not familiar with the court system and was in need of an attorney to guide me through the process. Josh McDowell was the best choice i could have ever made. In my free consultation he was extremely knowledgable of the process within the court and DMV systems and put me at ease, which made my choice of hiring him as my attorney a no brainer. He took off a great amount of stress in a very stressful situation and i would recommend him to anyone that needs a defense attorney.

I had been the one who went to jail after a physical altercation with my boyfriend at the time, even though he was clearly the aggressor. I was adamant about keeping my name clear, and his recommendations afforded me the right to do just that. (worth every penny? I guess you'll have to see July's docket re: the ex...) It was worth it to me at the time to maintain my dignity. Fantastic!!! I felt so at ease with Josh. I have never even had a speeding ticket so this process was VERY scary for me. Josh talked m through everything, responded to every email and phone call immediately, and worked VERY hard for me. I am exceptionally pleased with the outcome of my case…and its all thanks to Josh!
