This man sympathized with the other party and basically gave him free legal advice, but billed his client for it. He did absolutely nothing in court and then quit when the hearing was disastrous, he didn't even stop long enough to explain what happened.

This Lawyer just let the other party walk in and take what they want. He is a waste of money and time. I have in the past and could have done better representing myself! I now have to share my baby with a man who has not taken the proper steps to get to know his son let alone the blind anger he has. I would not trust this lawyer he doesn't work for you he befriends the opposing party and then feeds you false hope of coming to a common ground. Do not pick this lawyer or any person in this office if you are looking for fairness or common ground!

I had a custody case and won with Kinnaird. No yelling or fighting no, court lasted about 5 minutes, I didn't even say a word Kenton did all the talking for me and we basically settled. Mr. Kinnaird's services are not cheap, but he's a smart guy and so are those that work with him. I haven't ever really gone out and priced lawyers. He handled another personal case for me years before and was a very nice person to be in contact with. I remembered his name, so I didn't even look up any other lawyers. I found he helps alot of parents. In fact I personally saw a man in his office thanking him over and over for his help and how wonderful Mr. Kinnaird is. He is very honest and in my custody case he hired a child investigator to just look over the situation and make a recommendation. This third party really kinda sealed the deal. I got what I asked for with Kenton's help. I think all lawyers get you for calls, letters, and emails. Time spent with them is consultation. So be warned ALL lawyers are expensive. Kenton D. Kinnaird is a very honest man. I highly recommend using his help in any domestic cases. I paid 70% of my total bill on the first agreed deposit. I also didn't think about all of the calls and emails I was sending until later on. They gave me a discount on those, AND worked out a payment plan with me for the remainder.

Be forewarned!! He will sucker you in for a low price, then bill you extremely high for something in the end when he knows your need for him is about to end. He told me my divorce would cost no more than $1500 since we agreed on everything. I gave him $2000 and he said he would call if it went over. I was well under the retainer fee the entire time, until my ex brought in a paper for my signature, he called me to come sign, I signed, then was billed $600 for this simple event. He doesn't even do anything, his paralegal does all the work. He will also work with your spouse and charge you, without you knowing. This man will appear nice, but is very untrustworthy. Beware.
