Worst experience ever! I was assigned Paige Buxbaum to my case who didn't listen to a word I said. Her standard response is, "Just keep doing what you are doing." I said, I'm not doing anything and a little bit later in the conversation, "Just keep doing what you're doing." Again, I'm not doing anything, I need some direction please.
After about 4 months of no contact, I emailed Paige and no response. I call her and she asks how things are going and I said they aren't. I haven't done anything since our first conversation 4 months ago. Then she said she is waiting on insurance coverages from my insurance company? Really? It takes 4 months to get that info?
I called and complained and got a manager of the intake process who said he would get me some help. I spent 30 minutes explaining all the issues I had with Paige and that I no longer wanted her on my case.
I get a call from Doug who is Paige's manager. He spoke so fast that it was almost impossible to understand what he was saying. I swear the guy was on some sort of stimulant the way he was talking. Regardless, his question to me is, "what's going on?" I told him that I just spent 30 minutes explaining my issues and the only thing you can do is come back to me and ask me what's going on? Do you not talk to each other in that office?
After 2 weeks of calling back, I finally get a call from an attorney who is over Doug and Paige. He says to me, "unfortunately, we don't have a case." Wow, that's stating the obvious. They completely dropped the ball on my case and then tell me I know longer have a case. Then he tried to tell me the good news, "You don't owe us anything!" Wow! What about the money you lost me by blowing my case?
Do yourself a favor and find another place that will take care of you. I tried calling other law offices and they told me that Bachus and Schanker screwed up my case and that I no longer have a case.

They lie so much on TV! "JUSTICE IS OUR PASSION"! I've an iron clad malpractice case. Because it is a University, (never ever allow them to perform any surgeries, if possible), we are unprotected! the maximum recovery is $500k. And that is only in the case, of a provider breaking from their normal course of their duties, and within 2 years. Misinstalled hardware, and keeping people doped up on morphine until the 2 year limit expires, or we die, is all kinds of wrong! My surgeon thumbed his nose at me! 100k people a year are dying! THATS JUSTICE? I'VE BEEN STUCK IN THEIR SYSTEM FOR 15+ YEARS, and all we get is a form letter, with no explanation, advice, or referral.
These guy's DO NOT deserve our business!
A $$$ BILLION $$$ dollars, and they kept more than a third?$$$
