December of 2021, January of 2022, and February of 2022 (Please read the entire review). After my mother passed away 8 years ago, my husband and I realized that we needed to get our affairs, our estate, in order. Dealing with the loss of a loved one is hard enough, with the funeral, the cemetery, calling loved ones, etc. All of it is extremely difficulty. My husband and I did call and contact Ambler Keenan Mitchell Johnson, and they helped us through the entire process of getting our affairs, our estate, in order. I'm so very glad that we did! We had to talk about each of our final wishes, which are not easy discussions to have. Erica Johnson, helped us through all of that. No, it's not easy, but it has to be done. Again, with the passing of my mother, we did it. The finished product, the finished Estate Notebook, contains everything that we need to have in case of hospitalization (Medical Power of Attorney, and other needed paper work), death, lasts requests, location of specific documents and needed account information, special bequeaths, etc. You name it, it's all there, in one easy and rather large, leather notebook. January, 2022 After loosing my father-in-law just before Christmas, 2021, reviewing our affairs, our estate, was once again brought to the forefront of our minds. We are still dealing with his passing. We are in the middle of all of the finances. This will take several months to go through, even though he had everything properly taken care of. It all still takes time. It DOES NOT happen over night as most people think. Most importantly we are dealing with his will, his last wishes. The law firm of Ambler Keenan Mitchell Johnson will file or "lodge" the Will with the City and County of where his last residence was. I don't have to worry about that! This alone is a HUGE help. They know the process, they know what to do. Yes! HUGE Relief! Ambler Keenan Mitchell Johnson will also make any changes to my mother-in-laws Will, now that her husband (my father-in-law) has passed away. Yes, things changed, and changes need to be done. I know this will be a long process too. My mother-in-law will talk to Erica Johnson about what is in her will, what she wants changed. Erica will also talk to my mother-in-law about what was in my father-on-law's will, and what needs to be done, etc. All of this will take place over the next several months (stretching into March, 2022), via phone calls (instead of in person, due to COVID protocals). Yes, it's a long process, but it's something that needs to be done, and I HIGHLY recommend that you get it done. My husband and I will also be talking to Erica Johnson, who also did our Estate Planning over 8 years ago. Changes need to be made, and we'll get them done. We totally trust Erica Johnson and the Ambler Keenan Mitchell Johnson Law Firm. They are located in the Cherry Creek area. They know Colorado Law, and they are absolutely wonderful! Updated: April, 2022 Our Estate Plans are now done. This is a HUGE relief for us. We are still grieving the passing of my father-in-law, and now my sister-in-law too. Sometime life just stinks! Anyway.....Excellent, excellent, excellent! I Highly recommend this law firm for your estate needs. Friendly staff, smart, they know Colorado law.
