Patti and Marc were great to work with. We lost my case on a technicality. However, I would choose them again to fight for me if I ever needed their help. New Leaf Family is a great firm to work with.

My experience working with Marc was exceptional! My questions were always answered promptly and thoroughly. Marc partnered with me to develop the best resolution possible and was able to quickly resolve my case.

I was on the fence initially with this law firm, but with most divorce cases they are an emotional and stressful time. Shelly and her team really helped guide me though the whole process with constant communication and help. With the easy to pay web-based portal and the constant reminders it made the financials manageable. Shelly listened to my concerns and worked to make sure the outcome that I wanted to come to fruition happen. Through the dedication of the firm and myself we were able to achieve something that most thought would be impossible. I cannot recommend Shelly and her team enough; you will be well taken care of and in good intelligent hands.

Lynn is incredibly talented and is truly passionate about what she does. Lynn immediately made me feel welcomed and comfortable during our time working together. She is knowledgeable and has years of experience which offered helpful conversations and creative ways to navigate the issue we were working through. I am truly thankful for Lynn’s positive personality and her desire to lead with respect and grace. Would highly recommend her and would work with Lynn again in a heartbeat. She made a not so fun process much more enjoyable than I would have ever imagined.

Please please read! Firstly, on the front end their “flat monthly rate” seems like a great idea. It’s not, divorces take months, you’ll spend at the least the exact same. Don’t fall for the security idea like I did. This attorney nearly cost me everything. Shelly has no aggression, spent more time lecturing me then fighting with opposing counsel, and made promises she fell to fulfill. Shelly also had a terrible habit selling losses as wins, so much so that I actually had to directly tell her to stop doing that. You have to micromanage these people, to the point I had to direct Shelly on what to be aggressive about and how much. Worst of all shelly started speaking to opposing counsel as if he was her mentor, and he acted very much the same. Can not believe she did that, that was very hard to correct, believe me! Lastly, communication! Every single negative review says the same thing, believe us! In one instance I waited 30 minutes for a scheduled phone call, called her twice where the paralegal wasnt able to get her on the phone, and then was told she would have to reschedule. She later stated she was waiting for me for over 20 minutes on zoom but didn’t have an answer to why she didn’t call me. I had Shelly tell me “I didn’t read the email, I got caught up in those cute pictures”… I was also told she couldn’t always email me back because she had 25 cases, imagine that feeling.Very unprofessional for someone who costs so much! Thankfully I was able to save my divorce after firing them. They nearly cost me $25,000 in losses. Do not hire these people! 2 months is all I had with them, couldn’t imagine being forced to work with them through this whole process. I spent $5600 with them for a bit of paperwork and whole lot of stress. 0/10 stay far away!

In all reality, New Leaf Family deserves 0 stars from me because they never even ended up meeting with me, but I felt it was worth leaving a review for others who might be considering this firm. New Leaf will blow off appointments without communication, cancel appointments on very short notice, and not respond to emails - and that was all just in an effort to set up a consultation. It is really disappointing that I have now taken early leave from work twice because of a scheduled meeting, not to mention that I have postponed moving on the affairs for which I wanted their help, all in an effort to just get on their schedule. It's clear that they are much more willing to potentially gain a client than they are to actually support them. I just wish they would've communicated that their workload was too much and they didn't have the proper time to dedicate to my case - it would've saved everyone time. To anyone considering New Leaf Family who needs quick responses or genuine support, I would look elsewhere.

It was a pleasure working with them. Meredith and her team help out a lot. Even when I decided to make a tuff decision they supported and didn’t judge.

During my time with New Leaf, I felt heard, validated, supported, and understood. This remained true no matter who I was working with, from the front desk, to the initial consult, to the paralegal and the lawyers. They make time for you, and they listen! I felt like their priority was to align with my priority. They are extremely knowledgable. They will not waste your time, they will hear you out and support you in getting what you need. Their unique way of billing also aligns with this value. Furthermore, they are friendly, trustworthy, and follow through on what they promise.
