Retaining Attorney Carla Zahner is the smartest move I made in trying to resolve the dysfunction of my post-divorce communication and co-parenting for my children. I can't recommend her strongly enough. Smart, strategic, compassionate, tenacious are all words I would use to describe Carla's approach and work ethic. To say my situation is complicated is a major understatement. From the moment I met with Carla, to interview her and see if she would be a good fit to work with, she was personable, knowledgeable, relatable and assured me she could help. Carla was refreshing to work with... I was faced with a very toxic divorce with just layers upon layers of challenges and she navigated it fluidly with a well thought out plan, she implemented it, and made the painful process less painful. I unfortunately, have been exposed to many attorneys in my time and mostly every single one; all with great reputations, have failed me. I felt like a billable guinea pig and was charged numerous hours to explain over and over the issue and they never quite captured the weight of my problem or fought for the results I needed. Carla quite the opposite! She was empathetic and got the results I needed. In my opinion, there are way too many attorneys in the market that frankly shouldn’t be. A piece of mind comes when working with Attorney Zahner. My only regret is that I didn’t meet her soon enough. MY first attorney, again very reputable… who handled my divorce did a terrible job and did not get me a fair deal. If Carla handled it from the start, I would have never needed to change council and would have saved me a ton of heartache. The nice part is the annuity is over and I do not think I will ever have to use her again on the problem she solved. Refreshing when that happens!

When I first realized I needed to get divorced, I wanted to try mediation in an effort to keep expenses down and be amicable.
