The Lakeside Improvement Association (the HOA) had filed suit (with a $250K lean on the property) against my 93 year old widowed mother for failure to pay her dues for 3 years and for failing to repair and paint the awning of the front porch! My mother wanted me to try to work out a payment plan with the attorneys for the HOA but they wouldn't respond to my emails! The case got extended a couple of times and then when case actually went to trial, neither the court nor the HOA's attorneys notified my 93 year old mother of the court date until after the trial's date! Therefore judgement was awarded to the HOA for approximately $4K (with a lean on the property for $250K) which my mother could not pay! So we get notice that the Pct. 5 Constables office had seized my 93 year old mother's house (that's been paid off for years) and was going to sale her house under court order! I kept getting the run around from different attorneys, saying the case was too late or too complicated until I talked to Chad! He said he could handle it and he even came out to the house and met my mother! I found out that this type of case is what Mr. Elroy specializes in! I highly recommend him for any type of debt settlement but especially dealing with HOAs!

I was sued over another person's debt. Mr. Goolsby explained what I had to file to prevent a default judgement, how to add things to the discovery process to prove it wasn't my debt, and what actions by the law firm could violate the FDCPA. I've never had a better experience with a lawyer.

Peter is amazing. Me and my wife rented a house from a property management company. When we moved, they said damages to the house was more than our deposit covered. They kept our deposit, and said they were going to write off the rest of the damages on their taxes. One and an half years later, we received a collections notice from that same property management company. We had written proof from the property management company, stating they were writing off the remainder of the damages. We hired Peter to help us in this situation. We never heard from them again.

I paid $70 for a phone consultation, and I terminated the call within less than three minutes, as Mr. Breeden both interrupted and raised his voice at me. He first cut me off, saying that I started in the middle of story and he needs to to know the first page. At that moment, I realized that he either hadn't read the intake brief that I sent to his office days ago or he doesn't want the case. I insisted to get to the bottom of it: did he at least *receive* my written brief or not? He refused to answer and commanded me to again, start with the page one of the story. The argument escalated. Within seconds, I terminated the call, telling Mr. Breeden that I'm concerned that our communications have already broken down and I have no confidence in working with him. That was a $70 well spent - I had no idea that layers can be that unprofessional, now I've experienced it.

My girlfriend needed an employment attorney and the reviews seemed overall very good. At my gf's request, I contacted this company and told them to contact her at her number. Imagine my surprise when they contacted me again instead of the number that I gave them. After that, they finally get ahold of her and set up a time for a "consultation" (their words). We get the call on the agreed upon day and it's not a consultation. We, instead, speak with a paralegal, Bernice, who sets up a time to speak with the attorney, who we are told is Nick in about a week. We wait for the agreed upon date, which we were given not a specific time, but instead a window that the call would come in from Nick. Well, we waited and around the end of the window of time, my gf called and was told that Nick would be contacting her soon. He didn't. So my gf called again, now almost an hour after the window of time ended. We spoke with Miguel, who was professional albiet short and not very helpful. He indicated that Nick had some other pressing and thusly could not take our consultation at this time as agreed. My gf inquired as to why we were not given a call to inform us this change. Miguel had no explanation whatsoever. My gf asked when would we be able to speak with Nick and again Miguel was completely inept. We asked to speak to a managing partner and Miguel refused to pass that request along. So, to review, we have waited weeks for a consultation and got blown off with no explanation whatsoever. We can't get confirmation on when we can speak to an attorney or a managing partner. This is easily the most unprofessional and inept law firm I've ever encountered. I get that things happen but communication, professionalism and a willingness to make things right is key.

It is a shame that the world of social media has turned into a place of fake and made up reviews that are only aimed at damaging local businesses or harming others. Final Judgment "Mark" and Do not retain this lawyer "anonymous" make absolutely no sense and they are one in the same person. (Try not to use the same "legwork" analogy in two supposedly real and separate reviews. A dead give away) Anyone that truly knows Mr. Russo or has been represented by Mr. Russo realize the absurdity of "Mark/John" who is probably someone Mr. Russo refused to take their case because they were bogus or unethical.

Where do I begin…frank was great in the beginning but it ended in nightmare that is still ongoing. He seemed to fight after every opportunity (which caused us great expense) even when it would not get us any closer to resolving the issue. 0 stars if I could go negative I would. I would definitely steer clear of this lawyer. He caused us to be sued in 2 separate lawsuits that are still on going. Made more trouble than what we originally hired him for.

Worked with Brian Thompto as an attorney to file my Green card and he was so unreponsive, careless, rude and never ever replied back to my emails neither calls. Wasted my 15 months for PWD and PERm and end result is it got denied because of his mistake to not including my skills in ETA-9089 besides providing him all the details. Even after it got denied, he seems like nothing happened and jeopardizing my future and now i am left with no option else than leaving US as my time is getting closer. Whoever is the "secretary" who answers the phones for this attorney, she is the utmost rude, condescending, unprofessional, arrogant woman I have ever had to speak to in my almost 50 years of living. I called to ask ONE question, she interrupted me and said "Why.are you calling?"! Who says that in a professional setting? Does she not care about how she represents someone else's hard work and achievements? I asked her why did she say that to me and her high-and-mighty NASTY response was that "I didn't have time for your winding question....I have other calls and emails going on". Last time I checked, that is part of her job! As a person who works in the ER for 22 years, I am fully accustomed to multitasking and high stress. However, there is NO EXCUSE for her speaking to ANYONE that lives on planet earth the way she spoke to me. If I were looking for a lawyer and knew I had to deal with this woman.....I'd find someone else.

Theresa Rhinehart took my hard earned money and my Mother's, for TWO YEARS,during my awful divorce, she THEN, QUIT, in the courtroom the DAY I FINALLY WENT TO COURT!!!!! BECAUSE she was "intimidated" by my ex-husbands attorney!!!!! The judge went along with this Ludacris action by my attorney!!! Something needs to be done!!! Wonderful experience. Adam is a very knowledgeable lawyer and hard worker. He always kept in touch, spoke in Layman's terms and guided me in each step. I was required to use this law office through a relocation agreement. I would not recommend this office, if you have the choice. There were multiple instances where information provided was incomplete and required quite a bit of back and forth. With a tight timeline for purchase as an out of state buyer, this back and forth resulted in wasted time and additional stressors.

My wife and I first met Jay in March/April 2009 during the global financial meltdown. Jay had been recommended to us by a number of people within the legal profession as being a solid bankruptcy attorney who would look after us and make sure we got the best outcome possible.
The first thing my wife and I felt was that Jay put us at ease about the process. Of course it is not something anyone wants to go through, but his systematic approach enabled us to sleep at night not worried that we were doing the right thing.
Within 6 weeks we filed for a chapter 7 BK and found it to be a relatively painless process. Jay was able to remove $30K of credit card debt, and our house which was a huge burden since I had lost my position 5 months earlier, and we couldn't afford the mortgage as we had depleted our savings.
Once we were discharged from the BK, Jay continued to support us with advice and help when we needed clarification. It took the bank 6 years for the bank to foreclose the property we had been discharged from, and even after this amount of time, Jay continued to support us with advice and help if we needed it. Recently Jay has been a champion on our side during our quest to secure a new mortgage, we can't thank him enough.
If we had to sum Jay up in a few words, they would be: Honest, fair, diligent, helpful and just a nice guy to work with.
We would highly recommend him to anyone who needs to go through this process. With Jay on your side, it doesn't hurt as bad as you think!

I used Jay years ago for a BK, he is just processing paper like McDonalds burgers, not communication, not explanation of the process, just plain focus on his assumptions.
Not happy, after it closed the case and I asked for copy of my docs email he said it was 25 cents per page or I could go to the court to get it. (I did) I was not impress for his service with the high fee he charge. Not very professional presentation.

I was looking for an attorney to handle a debt that arose from an apartment lease agreement. The landlord was playing hardball because of a negative (but honest) review I left online.
The landlord even refused to accept full payment because I insisted we sign a release.
When I contacted this Bybee character he sounded arrogant. I had to sell myself and my case to him even when I was willing to pay for his services.
While describing the situation I mentioned the negative review I left and he interjected with "there goes any good will".
There I was with my wallet open looking for representation and he did nothing but question me at every point.
If you like being treated like a second class citizen this is your guy. Otherwise I'd recommend finding someone with better bedside manners.

Paul Herman is an excellent attorney. He was recommended to me by another attorney. He is extremely well versed in the law and went above and beyond to help me. I had a very complicated situation that he spent a lot of time trying to figure out. He had great concern for my case and me as a person to work in my best interest. I would recommend him to anyone. I had been with a debt relief program that was working but stretching my ability to pay when, out of the blue, I was contacted by people working for Mr. Herman. They offered to repair and restore credit at about half the price of the debt relief program so I stupidly jumped for it. Mr. Herman's program was a total of about $18,000. About half way through the period with little sign of progress I had a phone call with him where he admitted that the laws had changed (about a year prior to him telling me) and he could no longer employ legal maneuvers he had been successfully using to clean-up credit. I was horrified as I'd already paid a lot out to his firm. A few months later I was informed that the State of Florida had suspended his license. In his absence, another lawyer became involved and - against my wishes - settled a case costing me the rest of the money that I had. I could no longer pay his firm so I was dumped as a client left to fend the credit wolves for myself. This guy is a slick talker and spins. You'll note that he never admits to any degree of fault with any of the other reviews here that cast a shadow on him.

This program , the Law Firm, the Attorney’s, and everything they do for our community and the people of our community is absolutely amazing! My attorney Mr Brooks Fusselman and his associates helped me through a major crisis I was facing with an elderly landlord who didn’t even live in this country. This landlord tried to put me and my very young child on the street. The “Property Manager” is her alcoholic tenant who dwells downstairs from the house I leased for 12 months. He doesn’t like the noise of a child running down the hallway, or his bath time, etc.. therefore I was considered a “noise problem”.
Once Mr Brooks and the very generous people of Community Law Program took my case and started looking into the eviction process…they immediately took legal action to protect me and my child, giving me extra time to prepare for our sudden move and a new place to call home..
