There were several charges that I thought were invalid or unwarranted, so left a bad taste in my mouth. -They Charged me for a conversation that I had already stated the answers to in a previous email. He said he would not charge me for that, but I was charged. -They should have asked all the necessary questions before drafting the documents. This would have avoided me getting charged for 2 additional conversations, 2 edits and 2 emails. -I shouldn’t have been charged for revisions and emails needed due to their errors. This happened twice because of their typos/errors. -After I emailed my final approval of the documents, I was charged for their response which was just him asking if ‘there was there anything else I needed’. -When I replied no, I was charged for his reply which was just ‘thanks for letting him know’. -Then I was charged for them making a draft of a letter thanking me, stating my case is closed and emailing it to me. -Finally, I was charged again for an email with my detailed invoice. Aside from that, the documents were prepared well, and everything was resolved in a timely manner.

Updated review. I cannot stress to anybody reading this enough: who you hire matters and you get what you pay for. Attorney’s have case after case slide across their desk. It’s a job at the end of the day to most. If Aaron Shapiro or the force that is Amanda Schaffer takes your case, TRUST THEM. Full disclosure: I am a nightmare client. On a scale from 1-10, I’m an 11 in terms of annoying. My son is my absolute world. I have been a “white pony” more times than you can imagine. Over-billed. None of it made sense. Those attorneys cared about a paycheck. Aaron and Amanda are not only EXCELLENT attorneys, they’re good people. They have a backbone. Their time is valuable. They’re not cheap. Know that. When your child, freedom, or immigration status is on the line — don’t put it in the hands of someone who treats you like a file. The legal progress is exhausting (mentally and financially — I know it all too well.) It’s unfair. Read that again. No attorney should ever promise you a victory. Here’s what this random stranger who’s been put through the wringer for 3 years can promise you first hand — this firm cares and they’re your best shot.

He had me sign the retainer, pay almost $7000 and disappeared. He did not show up in court saying I still had to sign a form. I never received said form and he stopped answering altogether. I cannot believe he would do this to families in need of help.

Me (US) and my wife (Russia) decided to live in the US when the Ukraine Russia conflict broke out. This was a very stressful time trying to figure out how to go about the immigration process of a russian citizen to the US during these times. After much research into the subject and becoming overwhelmed by the amount of difficulty every russian has gone through with immigrating, and border closures to russians, we decided to look for a professional to help us. Andrei and his team not only made the immigration process incredibly easy for us and a seamless process, not once did he instill any doubt in us when presented with our worries about the many issues we will face (ie no open us consulate in russia, interview force scheduled by nvc to a country that is openly against allowing russians across the border). This team is professional, organized and subject matter experts in thier fields. When presented with an immigration case that I would argue is extremely difficult given the circumstances, they knocked it out of the park without batting an eyelash. This process took around 1.5 years from start to finish, majority of this time was due to IR1 visa wait times and the fact that my wife could not easily access needed resources such as US consulates within her home country. I want to add that my wife was so impressed with how organized and professionally detailed Andrei was when it came to preparing for her interview. She was confident throughout the interview in probably the most stressful point in the entire process. If you are looking for a legal team to assist you in immigrating to the united states, contact Andrei. I can happily say that my wife is legally sitting here in our home with me thanks to these men and women and I honestly feel like the price I paid for this service from beginning to end was extremely cheap for what we gained. I have to start by saying I rate Mr. Dean Stairs 5+ stars. He helped me with an auto insurance claim that refused to pay a hospital bill. After a year of my multiple attempts and the auto insurance rejections, I decided to get an attorney. Ben Carrasco is a rare find. I can't recommend him highly enough. He is tough, smart, responsive, and ethical. I hired him after being served modification papers in a very contentious situation, and I appreciated his candor, empathy, and expertise throughout the whole process. He doesn't sugarcoat anything, but he will tell you exactly what you need to hear in order to make smart decisions. Knowing that he was in my corner made me feel confident that I would get the very best outcome possible. His billing practices are also fair and transparent, which was a very different experience for me as compared to previous attorneys I've worked with. Bills from Ben included only charges that I actually recognized, rather than being padded with all the extra charges I recall seeing from previous attorneys. If I ever need a family law attorney again, I will immediately call Ben. If you need a family law attorney, don't even hesitate. He's the best.

My situation is still early in the process but regardless I want to say this firm is going above and beyond for me and my situation. They are the only firm out of 4 that has even agreed to look into my case. From my initial consult with Sharon to my communication with Kelly thus far, I am beyond impressed. They work behind the scenes when you think they took a break you get clarification they are still swinging for you at 7:15pm on a Tuesday night. I am honored to call them my attorneys. I highly recommend them! Ps Out of all of the law firms I considered I was "lucky enough" to get maybe two rejection emails, other than that I never heard back from anyone I contacted..My point is, this happens, they are busy.

Mi opinión sobre la atención al público por teléfono es mala, tuve un contrato con la abogada sobre una petición de residencia y un perdón por presencia ilegal de un monto de 6 mil dólares por ese servicio, después de 3 años cuando llegó el perdón,y deberían de seguir preparando los documentos de la residencia nos quisieron cobrar 5 mil dólares más de un monto total de 11 mil dólares. Después de reclamar ni tan siquiera nos quiso atender. Yo considero que todo aquella persona que busque ayuda migratoria se asegure que el contrato que aga esté bien informado. Para que no tenga problemas, muchas gracias

Mi opinión sobre la atención al público por teléfono es mala, tuve un contrato con la abogada sobre una petición de residencia y un perdón por presencia ilegal de un monto de 6 mil dólares por ese servicio, después de 3 años cuando llegó el perdón,y deberían de seguir preparando los documentos de la residencia nos quisieron cobrar 5 mil dólares más de un monto total de 11 mil dólares. Después de reclamar ni tan siquiera nos quiso atender. Yo considero que todo aquella persona que busque ayuda migratoria se asegure que el contrato que aga esté bien informado. Para que no tenga problemas, muchas gracias

His website makes the misrepresentation that it is a free evaluation which makes people believe an attorney will be evaluating the case. They charged me $150 for a telephone consultation but claimed it was for a telephone evaluation (Misleading. I never received a valuation I only gave info. and schedule the telephone consult). Then the attorney Joseph told me that he would refund any unused retainer funds during the telephone conversation but when I got the retainer agreement, it stated NON-REFUNDABLE retainer of $12,000+ and that the money was earned upon receipt. When I asked him to remove the NON-REFUNDABLE term from the retainer, he refused and declined to represent me. It is my opinion from my initial dealings with him that he was not honest with me. And that he and his firm are very much aware that people are being misled to believe the term "schedule your free evaluation" is a "free consultation" by an attorney but they play on those words to get people to call the firm then they do a BAIT-N-SWITCH. Response to Reply Below I appreciate the immediate response. But the reply does not negate the true facts above. Nevertheless, as of today Oct. 13, 2023, I did NOT receive a refund of my $4,850.00 the reply claims was refunded.

Phenomenal! This law firm has all the tolerance you want when you spill your guts out, the compassion you need going through such a difficult time, the know how to file through every piece of information you give them to make your case the strongest as possible. And they are very discreet. Due to their professionalism and wisdom I was able to settle my case without seeing a judge. They were truly in it for me not their bank account. And the next day I went to their office they all spoke with me like a friend not a client until I finally realized I was taking up their precious time and excused myself. I would give a negative 5 stars if possible. This is worst law firm. I had to get a new attorney because they lied and didn't do anything. For years. They cost me thousands in my settlement because of way they handles case at first.

Chad handled my disability claim with the social security office after they had turned me down. He was easy to work with. Very thorough and patient. He put a lot on hours in on my behalf. Explained the process well, answered my questions, and kept me informed as to what was happening with my case. He even assisted me in getting up to Salt Lake for my hearing. It was a pleasure to work with him.

If you plan to get divorced, you better get good representation. My wife at the time and I had separated, and she had moved to Galveston County with my minor children. I had no idea about divorce proceedings or lawyers in Galveston County and was poorly served by the one I originally selected. Later, more things were discovered, and I needed to revisit the divorce. This time I found Robert Musemeche and I wish I had found him from the beginning. He was an outstanding counselor and advocate for me as I reopened the divorce and went through mediation and subsequent challenges to the mediated resolution. He was always a professional and I never felt he was charging me for frivolous or unnecessary work. He helped me achieve the best possible outcome that took a long time, and I am thankful for that. He seemed to be very familiar with the local courts system, judges, and attorneys practicing in the county. I personally recommend Robert Musemeche as a divorce lawyer and I'm sure he would be excellent for any family law problem you may face.
