An absolute pleasure to work with. Donald and his team (including Alicia) were great and helped us from start to finish in attaining my wife’s green card! We cannot say how thankful we are for their expertise! They were always an email or a zoom call away! We recommend them to anyone looking for immigration help! You won’t be disappointed!

I work for a relatively small Defense contractor in the area of armament and munitions sales. We had a complex global transaction requiring International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) support in getting approval from State and Commerce. Dan Meyer and Evan Dentes at Tully Rinckey stepped in to provide us with the clear-sighted and dead-on guidance we needed to navigate both systems. On the scene in Washington, D.C., TR can support the small to medium-sized contractor with their ITAR and EARs needs, and can do so cost effectively. Great experience working with their National Security team !

Dan Meyer saved my security clearance. I had a Guideline I, Psychological Condition statement of reasons. It is very unnerving to receive such a document from your security officer. I did a consult at Tully Rinckey, and Dan put me at rest. He wasn’t worried, at all. After he explained the law, we got going on his strategy to save my clearance. Dan shows a great sensitivity to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) when working with clients; and he takes that commitment into his work at the security agencies. We put together a great brief which included the evidence I collected at Dan’s request. I just got the email from Dan, “you win!” It made my day. Go TR ! Go Dan!

I reached out to Tully Rinckey and worked with Dan Meyer, national security partner in the Washington D.C. Office. Dan’s White House experience, time on the DNI’s staff, and years as a Federal senior official allowed him to guide me through the tier 5 investigative process. Thank you Dan for all of your help, and I would highly recommend Tully Rinckey for their very professional services.

I was served an investigation by my employer due to a previous office retaliating against me. Tully Rinckey and Mr. Meyer provided me expedient and superior services to address every time sensitive matter with the ammunition to give me the most success. I felt confident throughout the process that I was preparing the best way possible with the most expert advice and handling for my situation from Mr. Meyer. Additionally, I had to depart for military service while my case was still being handled, I would be out of contact for two months. Mr. Meyer made sure everything was in place for me, I cannot thank him enough for his assistance. Thank you, Tully Rinckey and Mr. Meyer for closing my successful case, I can move on to the next chapter of my life.

Dan Meyer and Tully Rinckey secured me a win at First Level review on a security clearance adjudication at an agency within the Intelligence Community Element. This agency’s security concern was surrounding Guideline B, Foreign Contacts.
Of the two attorneys at Tully Rinckey I planned to speak with, I first made an appointment with Dan Meyer. During our initial meeting, Mr. Meyer straight away went to the heart of the security concern raised by the agency who had conducted a background investigation and sent me a denial decision. During our discussion, Mr. Meyer explained how the appeal process works – time and cost - in great detail. As a person who knew nothing about these processes previously, I did not know how emotionally taxing this process could be. However, Mr. Meyer, from day one, assured me that I was in good hands and his firm would help me navigate this process every step of the way, and they did! My early impression of Mr. Meyer was that he did not waste the time of potential new clients or give them any false hopes. He was factual, and as a person who appreciates practicality and facts, I knew Mr. Meyer would be the one who should represent me and I did not look any further.
Another important aspect of this appeal process is cost. Tully Rinckey and Dan Meyer demonstrated great care when I formally signed with their firm and retained Mr. Meyer for this appeal. His firm offered me several payment options to choose from and it allowed me to see this process through to the end. My monthly statements included line items to provide clear breakdowns of what was accomplished and the charges. Furthermore, Mr. Meyer and Tully Rinckey, demonstrated professionalism, friendliness and were very pleasant for what turned out to be quite a long process.
Dan Meyer is the national security partner in the Washington, D.C. Office, a former security manager, intelligence officer, and federal investigator. I firmly believe that those life experiences combined with his nearly three decades with the Bar of the District of Columbia made him ideally-suited to my case. He also has a deep understanding of America’s position in the world, and international affairs in the Eastern hemisphere. Dan knows the United States needs cosmopolitan workers, and is committed to global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). I am truly grateful to Tully Rinckey and especially Dan for their services during what was, unmistakably, the most stressful time in my life. Thank you, Tully Rinckey ! Thank you, Dan !

My employer served me with a Statement of Reasons under Guidelines E & H, which could have jeopardized my career. I contacted Tully Rinckey for a consultation and decided to retain their services. They assigned Dan Meyer, the national security partner in Washington, D.C., to my case. Dan methodically addressed the Government’s findings and helped me compile a comprehensive rebuttal. Dan was very helpful and communicative throughout the process, his knowledge and expertise helped me in a troubling period. We then proceeded with the personal appearance, resulting in a favorable decision. I am now back at work doing the job I love. Great job, TR! Thanks, Dan!

I came to Tully Rinckey with a Guideline E, H, & J issue which was blocking me from career goals. I did a consult with the Firm, retained them, and they assigned my matter to Washington DC national security partner, Dan Meyer. Dan was there for me over the next two years, as we both worked through the issues and the confusion we were seeing from recruiters and security professionals. I am off and running on my new job opportunity. TR had the strategy right. I am really excited about this next phase of my Federal career. Great job Dan ! Thanks, TR !

I hired Tully Rinckey to represent me at a second level review personal appearance regarding my security clearance, Guideline H. It was a tough statement of reasons, notably because the marijuana use was after I was granted a clearance. The firm brought their marijuana subject matter expert into the case. Dan Meyer, a national security partner in the Washington D.C. Office, took the case file and we worked up the evidence together; Dan’s legal brief focused on the ambiguity of drug use in America, today, and how difficult it can be for young adults to understand the real consequences of even victimless behavior. The argument worked; just won my case. Thanks Dan ! Thanks TR!

“Thanks, Dan ! I can’t say it enough! I had to file a self-report with Security; very difficult set of facts under Guidelines E, I & J. If I had to tell my story myself, I may have blown it – so I went to Tully Rinckey. A quick consult led to a retainer between me and the Firm. I was assigned to Dan Meyer, who has plenty of experience in these matters. Dan was unphased by my facts, “ . . . trust me, lots of people get clearances with facts worse than these, Client o’Mine,” he said, and off we went to work. Self report was filed; have my clearance, and I am hard at work in a great job! Great job TR !”

Sheraz was incredibly helpful in my child support case, which involved changing domicile from Michigan to Washington DC. He provided me with a roadmap for success and was very fair with his fees. In fact, I even received a refund. I highly recommend him as your lawyer.
