It’s hard to find a genuine person in the world of Divorce/Family Attorneys. With the money and stress associated with family law, it’s important to hire someone interested in serving the needs of their clients rather racking up billable hours. Lyndsay Ressler truly is that attorney.
After doing an initial consultation with Lyndsay in regards to a child support dispute, I felt very confident that Lyndsay was the right attorney for the job. The family court system is very subjective and tough to navigate. Lyndsay handled my case like the expert in the field that she is.
In the end, you should pick an attorney that can get you results. Lyndsay presented the merits of my case, worked out a suitable settlement, and ultimately got the results I needed. And she did so, without charging an exorbitant rate.

I was referred to Attorney Melanie Fenwick Thompson from an another attorney that couldn’t take my case because of the county I reside in. That attorney referred me to Attorney Melanie Fenwick Thompson. Melanie and her team provided me with a quick detailed consultation so that I could explain my case and she explained my options. Her and her team are very thorough and got my divorce moving fast. All our communication was done on there client portal for tracking purposes which really helped. This way if I couldn’t remember something I could always go back to my portal. It took about 8 months to get my divorce finalized and everything was done via email communication through the portal. Prior to hiring Attorney Melanie Thompson, I made the mistake of hiring a cheap lawyer who cost me way more than money. Because I made the mistake of hiring the wrong lawyer, I had over 3 different judges look at me as a person with no dignity, no integrity, no honor, which almost caused me to lose custody of both my children (ages 1 and 4 months). After hiring Attorney Melanie Thompson, she quickly restored my dignity, integrity, and honor to the judge in court. Compassionate and insightful are the two words that come to mind when describing our interactions with Michael Dwyer. My ex-husband and I had been trying for months to reach a divorce agreement to no avail. Someone recommended Michael Dwyer. I had to hire an attorney due to the change of laws of being able to get on an airplane to fly. When October 2020 you will not be able to get on a plane without a passport or driver license TSA approved with a star not knowing that my divorce paper were not correct. Mr. Gardi is an excellent attorney. He assisted us in a real-estate purchase/sale which both closed the same day. I certainly could have waited to write this review until the lawsuit I'm involved in has wrapped up (I'm a defendant). Hopefully that will be in the next couple of months. I have been working with Travis for 8 years, and he has been an incredible lawyer, advisor, leader and (unknowingly) therapist! I have been holding out and saving my review for Travis and his team for when my ex wife stops taking me to court! Unfortunately, that has not been the case! What I do find to be reassuring is that I know Travis always has my back and is always fighting for what is in my son's best interest, my best interest, our best interest. Travis always listens and ensures he understands what it is I am feeling and needing before developing a plan. He is very strategic in everything he does, and wastes no time getting where we need to go.
