I would like to personally extend my gratitude to Shawn Brown due to how effective and efficient he was. Upon meeting him, I respected the fact that he listened to me and my case, paying attention to the details I provided him.

If you have an amicable divorce go to a mediator or give a small retainer fee. This office has a NON-refundable refund for retainers. My case was during the holidays and after we signed everything the office went silent. I had to email to check status and then they would move the case. I wasn't even informed on when my divorce was finalized, I found it on public records. Although I am knowledgeable and know it was my mistake for not reading the terms, I hope this helps someone to ask about refundable retainer fees. My divorce billable hours were about 2,500. My retainer fee was 5,500 so the office made an easy $2,900.00. Hope this review helps someone in the future!

I was facing 10 years in federal prison. With all the evidence stacked against me and my former attorney suggesting that I take a plea…it was Gal who told me that the case could be beat and urged me to fight. Words can't express the amount of gratitude I have for Mr. Burkhalter. He helped me out when I was at my lowest and passed no judgement. He did everything he said he would do plus more. He stuck it out with me the entire 2½ years it took to resolve the case and not only did he help me avoid 10 years in prison I received probation and some fines. Every lawyer I came across in my time of need was only interested in money the first thing he asked was how am doing then said let's get you out of here not to mention he came and saw me on a Sunday and was already working on my case before he arrived. My bond was denied by my initial judge he was able to get me a bond before I even received the court date for them to tell me if they would give me one again. There were a lot of ways things could have went sour but he always stay on the up and up and kept me a good spirits and I'm forever appreciative for it.

Maybe good at other law. Didnt see that with this criminal case. It was gonna a challenge but....$50,000 for taking the case and $27,000 for trial with just a 1/3 of the $27,000 returned after being convinced the Trial may not be the best route.
Chewing gum & rocking in his chair at sentencing. Barely spoke to the Judge, his assistant. Sam did his work for him.
( She needs her own practice, having her own legal firm would be successful.)
I don't understand the 4 stars either.
And yes....still got the 10yr sentence.
Hhhmmmm.
Don't believe all the hype. Do ur homework because you will be doing his work for him.
Don't sign anything his request without someone else reading it also. Clarity was a huge issue here.

I cannot thank this firm enough. Ashley guided me to success as the prevailing party in what was unfortunately an extremely high conflict child custody case, and she did so with compassion, integrity, and patience. This was one of the most stressful experiences of my life, but much of that stress was alleviated due to the calm, professional, and efficient manner in which Ashley handled everything. I consulted with this attorney, and although I don't think I am the right fit as a client of their firm, I do think I would've came out on top with this gentleman in my corner. We talked for a little over 34 minutes and in that time he shared valuable knowledge about how we could go about this, what the possible outcomes could be, what to expect price wise, and even strategy wise in regards to meeting with his team. He also seemed very upbeat and on the ball with getting all of the relevant information and determining how to utilize it in the most effective ways. I thank you for your time and the service you are providing to our community. He also talked about how their firm is asked by the Bar association to donate and how they attend some government officials yearly parties and such, meaning they are also well connected with these people and work with them regularly. The only reason I couldn't go with this guy (although I wanted to) was the price - and I'm not saying him and his firm aren't worth it, I truly believe they are, but as a ~21 year old (staying vague for privacy) saving up for a car the price he told me was 1/4 of what I received from insurance for my totaled vehicle, and I just couldn't at this time justify that purchase in my head when I am needing other, tangible assets at this time. I was frank with him and more or less told him this, and he tried to assure me it was worth it to not risk losing my freedoms or having this backfire, which I don't disagree with, but again, I can't justify that spending on a single day in court for something I didn't even do... Thanks again to Thomas for teaching out, not only once, but twice after I missed his call and couldn't catch him when I returned it. Maybe someday in the future when I am more financially stable I will utilize your services to the fullest!
