Mr Upshaw was the court appointed lawyer for my friend and he did not defend him at all. During the trial he did not contest any of the evidence or object to anything the prosecution presented in court. He would not communicate with his client or plan ahead. He just kept him in the dark. As a result, he was convicted and Mr Upshaw was still not communicating or contesting anything and he failed to file for papers in time and seems like he’s working for the court that paid him and not for my friend. He’s not as aggressive as he should be. As a result my friend might be going to jail for a long time. NO thanks to you Mr. Upshaw

I cannot say enough positive things about attorney Geoffrey Upshaw. My son was facing a serious legal issue and Mr. Upshaw was his court appointed lawyer . From the moment we met him, he was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to truly understand the situation.

This lawyer is currently my court appointed attorney. The first few times we met, without him looking into the evidence, he recommended a guily/insanity plea. After my own legal research, I discovered false evidence in my case. After presenting him prosecutorial misconduct, he has refused to promptly address the court of prosecutorial misconduct. I am currently incarcerated and he has ignored all communications and noshowed two times. I am now forced to have to pay for a lawyer who will actually fight for me. He's creating a HUGE conflict of interest. I feel like because he is court appointed and I did not pay for him, his representation is poor. As soon as I can, I'm reporting him to the BBO.

I hired Mr. Griffis to assist me with a university discipline case involving a freedom of expression concern. Mr. Griffis was quite knowledgeable about the pertinent laws and legal precedents, and he was able to help me navigate the complex administrative rules. Ryan Semerad is a kind, compassionate and knowledgeable Attorney. He helped my daughter out with sound advice. We were going to retain him, but he told us to go with the plea deal offered by the courts and public defender. He advised it was a fair deal and didn't want to take our money. He is affordable, compared to the rest of the attorneys in Casper, who seem more interested in money, than helping a person out. I recommend him highly!! He would be the first I would call if I needed an attorney for criminal law.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely THE problem when it comes to attorneys this day and age.(maybe it’s just with men). If you want a game where you're being strung along and billed forever playing the rollercoaster game with you and your children's life instead of evidence being presented in a costly/timely and empathetic manner THIS IS YOUR GUY. Mr. Bancroft, i just got off the phone with you where you hung up on me stating that I’m threatening you. Get over your ego and realize that your business as a practicing attourney needs realignment. I wrote you about a standing invoice you provided totaling to less than the amount that Ive paid to you months prior with no response. After speaking to your paralegal, then being transferred to your “billing dept.” and speaking to them I was provided with a newer invoice…..with newer charges, where whomever was working before had originally just simply “forgot to send me the invoice”….what a convenient coincidence. After speaking with her, I was transferred to you where I had a conversation with your ego. Well, from the little guy(s) down here Mr. Bancroft, do whats right and fabricating invoices to skip out on paying balances owed on any moneys paid to you for the services that you DID NOT PROVIDE are just not that. Client paid $1750 in retainer fees(half of your 3500 to get the case started) and had to chase said attourney down for enquiries with little to no communications outside of ones that were initiated by me/client, INCLUDING in person conversation with YOU where I unexpectedly paid a visit to your office in August after I could not successfully contact anyone and asked about a status of my case. You did not recall my case by name until we went to your office and you searched my name.(keep in mind, this is three months after contracting). Attourney invoicing per attourney-client portals all state work for balance of $753, with latest payment from client being $631 in October.(this never happened, only payment made was the initial one and didn't make another due to subpar and in my opinion MALPRACTICAL, I'm aware that isn't an official word, service). After a few months of calling and majorly being placed on hold, back and forth’s with promises of returned calls or motions with paralegals, multiples of them and finally being frustrated with the reality of paying an attourney and not being fought for……while fighting a vindictive situation with my children as a GREAT DAD I asked for an explanation stating that if I did not hear anything as ai had been I wanted to discontinue services and be refunded via message inside of the client portal, I THEN was given a response…..but not with accountability, not with a plan of action, not to communicate any valuable evidence or structured plan of action, but to speak downward of me on the “dismal” months of non-payment……….ultimately this attourney demanded I paid him his past due amount, in addition to totals for mediations that hadn't even been had yet to avoid him WITHDRAWING. Needless to say I attended the mediation PRO SE, paid the mediator directly. I’m now on maximum state mandated child support and standard visitation for the children I equally raised because the relationship did not work out with their mother…finally divorced none the less. All of the evidence in the world to fight that good fight never presented, never saw a represented court setting, money just wasted and thank GOD I demanded a standard or it could have been MUCH MUCH worse financially. Contracted with this attourney on 5/24/2024….attourney withdrew as of 11/5/2024, yet they have still attempted to withdraw payment from my bank as of latest, 12/19/2024…….this was my SECOND attourney over a course of what I recall as a 3 year nightmare……I can confidently say, this is whats wrong with the family law system! Will edit with photo documentation when I have time.

Back in 2020 I was framed with some drugs in my spare tire in Tijuana, when I try to cross the border I got arrested, it was overwhelming to me, I didn't have any money for attorney at law services, the court assigned this attorney , it was a long walk but everything came out more then I expected. I Was able to fight my case from outside, once Mr. Johnson actually believed in me everything was down the hill
Thanks to his commitment and experience we were able to come forward, with the expected result, after 14 months the DA dismissed the charges and I was able to go back home.

I had the unfortunate experience of Mr. Beshwate representing me nearly 15 years ago as a youngster who got himself in trouble. I was charged a sizeable sum to avoid paying a fine to the court system and ended up doing many hours of community service instead. Well, here we are over a decade later and it looks like this fraud took my money and ran because there is a big ol' fine that's been brewing for years and is now triple what is was. Maybe he just forgot to file the paperwork, but who knows? No call backs from the office staff, no answers, no updates. I'll be on the hook for a huge fine and he can laugh all the way to the bank. I'll be laughing all the way to the state bar.

Hello Ms. Meindock is very hard working and took both mine and my fiance's cases on probono.Ms. Meindock got my fiance out of a world of trouble at no charge to us and really worked very hard on the case as if we paid her good money, which was not the case cause she did it out of the goodness of her heart. Dot got right to work on my case and did everything she could on her part to get my lawsuit settled through GEICO insurance company but unfortunately I did not follow through on my part but GEICO did get back to Dot with an offer. As for my fiances case she got him out of a bogus gun charge on her own dime and for that We were so grateful!!.She worked very hard and really knows her career in and out, very knowledgeable. I faced theft charges that came out of nowhere and caused a great deal of stress and anxiety. Due to a past incident on my record the charges I faced became more of a burden to defend against. Attorney Misko was my second attorney – my original attorney had told me my chance of beating the charges against me were slim and to expect about 1 to 3 months of jail time. I interviewed a few attorneys and based off of Steve’s responses and confident manner my gut led me to choose him. One of the best decisions I ever made. Steve took time to research several angles of my case to provide the best defense at my trial I was facing. Steve was able to make enough of a showing of innocence and reasonable doubt that my case never went to trial. We were able to arrive at a settlement where I would pay a fine which would have been much less than the cost of going to trial – even though Steve could have made more money going to trial he made this happen because it was in his client’s best interest. By paying the fine the DA dropped the charges allowing me to avoid a stressful and expensive trial that would have required expensive expert witness and in the long run cost me far less than it would have to go to trial to prove innocence. The case had been dragging on with the original attorney for close to a year, Steve has it resolved in months for me – and probably saved years of my life due to the stress it was causing. While I hope to never need the services of a criminal Attorney again in my life, if I did need them there is NOBODY I would rather have at my side than Steve Misko. Steve, I cannot thank you more or your attentive, knowledgeable, and proactive manner in which you handled my case.

I hired Sharon Williams to help me with a name change. I told her I wanted to use an attorney with experience in this sort of thing so I wouldn't have to worry about it and would get it done fast as I need to have my preferred name match for my job. She told me not to worry, that she would take care of it quickly. I initially met with her in late July, and I signed my petition in early August. it is now January and the process is not done. She has been very unresponsive, as I've texted her multiple times asking for specifics on why this is taking so long. I now haven't heard from her in a week. I've called her office multiple times with no answer and left messages. Called her phone but the voicemail box is full. The lack of communication leaves me to not trust that she is able to do the job I paid her to do in a timely manner, and feel like I've wasted my time and money for something I would have been better off doing myself. Ive spoken with people who have changed their names on their own with no attorney and most did it within a month. I am at 5 months. My passport has expired and my license expires soon which will be a major complication where I have to renew it under my old name, while I was under the impression would have been taken care of by now. I would not trust Sharon Williams with anything as important as custody or a will if she can't even properly do a name change.
