At the recommendation of my real estate agent, I contacted Allison and, after speaking with her, I immediately hired her. I was in the process of buying my first coop apartment, and I was overwhelmed by everything it entailed. Allison was extremely knowledgeable about dealing with coops, and explained everything to me along the way so I would know what to expect. She was always available to take my call, or called me back after I left a message. Allison was very patient with me when my anxiety level got the better of me at times. Dealing with a coop purchase, as I came to learn, can be a very tedious, time consuming and, at times, frustrating process. Allison spent a great deal of time going over all the coop records she needed to review as part of her responsibilities as my lawyer. She was aware of the fact that I was very eager to move out of my previous apartment, and advocated for things to move along as quickly as possible. I always felt that Allison was doing everything within her power to be an advocate for me. This was especially true when Allison coordinated with all the parties involved so the closing date could be scheduled as soon as possible. In all of my contacts with Allison, she was professional, courteous and patient. I found her lawyer fees were very reasonable, especially considering all of the services that she provided. Attorney John Kakinuki tremendously helped me with my divorce proceedings. He said divorce wasn’t his specialty but mine was an international marriage and he is expert in international work and was recommended by mutual friends in our church, so he worked hard to make sure everything went right.

Many business owners rely on third parties to take care of everything, which I did, and Mr. Andolino was very forthright and pointed out all the things I had done wrong or had not done over the years.
For example, his firm prepared paperwork for a Joint tenancy with rights of survivorship to protect my wife. Set up the paperwork to transfer property upon death without going through probate. His firm also completed the paperwork to reduce future estate taxes through exclusions. That was only the work for my personal estate; his firm also handed all the paperwork that needed to be filed for my business and partnership.
Sometimes it pays to get a second set of eyes to go over your financial documents and see what was missed and Joseph Andolino and Associates did an outstanding job.

We were looking for insight into a new venture, and if we should do it as part of our corporation or set up a new company. Jan gave us more than the simple answer to the question. She helped us to understand the nature of the interactions between the companies involved, tax ramifications of structuring the deal, as well as the most effective and profitable strategy for how we classify associated cost of goods internally.
She helped us to understand issues within our accounting systems and how that information would help us to have a deeper and more genuine insight into each step of the process between sales, product fulfillment and billing.
The new venture is up and running (well) and we have a stronger insight into how our businesses are performing. We've also reduced our tax bill. If you're looking for someone who is simply going to tell you what you want to hear, this might not be your attorney.
