Not exactly sure how to explain how Mike's hard and excellent work has changed my life forever. I was hit by a car on Park Ave & 34th street in 2019—while riding my electric scooter home to the upper east side from the east village. An SUV blitzed through a yellow light and plowed into me as I was taking off into a green light. I broke my shoulder in 3 places—which could be repaired surgically. However, it wasn't until 2 years later that I realized that the accident had thrown my body completely out of whack forever, and I'd never be able to run more than 2-3 miles ever again. The driver of the SUV had a $50K insurance policy which was just enough to cover my hospital and surgery costs. But, Mike is a genius, and he discovered an opportunity to claim an even larger, additional settlement—which I never in a million years would have known about. He went after it. He fought for me. He never gave up. He does not give up, ever. 2 years later, he called me to let me know that we settled and disclosed the settle amount to me—and I cried tears of joy. I was rear-ended while driving my car. After the accident, I was in pain, I was concerned about my car, I was busier than ever at work and just completely stressed across the board. I was totally unfamiliar with attorneys or the legal process and saw TV commercial after TV commercial from all the huge firms promising the moon and felt totally overwhelmed and didn't want to make a phone call to any of those law firms. It was stressing me out even more.
Through a friend, I was referred to Lowell Steiger and from the very first phone conversation, Lowell put me at ease and gave me an overview of how the process would begin and I knew I was in good hands. The next day, I spoke with Lowell's case manager Eric and he was very thorough in getting all details about the accident and was very easy to communicate with and that confirmed I made the right choice by calling Lowell.
Lowell is honest and a "straight-shooter" and explained upfront that this was not going to be a quick process and I just needed to focus on getting better and he would handle the rest. And he did.
After many medical treatments, physical therapy, etc. I slowly got better over time because I was consistent and followed my doctor's recommended treatment plan. I am almost back to living the life I had before the accident and can't believe after about 9 months of hard work and perseverance (both me and him), Lowell won the settlement that was deserved!
Lowell and his team are tenacious, they are easy to communicate with, they had my back through the entire journey and did an excellent job in settling my case against the other party's insurance company.

Lowell is an amazing lawyer! A dear friend of mine saw a video of me, when I was stuck in an elevator with my son. He immediately referred me to Lowell. Lowell was everything my friend said he was and more. He is not like most lawyers. He is very hands on. He always contacted me directly. I did not have to go through gate keepers to speak with him. He always responded to me in a timely manner. Not only that, he attentively listened to my story. He was never hurried or never rushed me. I have dealt with other lawyers in the past, and they are rushed and do not seem like they care or have time.

I reached out to the Dr. Lawyer Law Group seven months after being injured in a car accident. My injuries weren't severe, so didn't call an attorney right away. Like many others, I thought that since the accident was the other driver's fault that his insurance would do the right thing to make me whole. I was wrong.
After the insurance company low-balled their offer (and tried to assign partial blame to me), I knew I had to get help. Dr. Shah and Dan Hollnagel worked to get me far more than what the insurance company originally offered. My only regret is that I didn't call them sooner.

We thought we had a very easy straight forward case based on how my wife's nerve injury occurred, but after consulting with over 15 attorneys I realized that was not reality, and most if not all the attorneys I talked with did not understand our case and they were more concerned with what they thought the case was valued at based on the injury. Thankfully we did not settle until we found the right attorney which was Dr. Shah. After our initial consultation I knew right away that he was the right attorney for our case. My wife's nerve injury was caused by a needle stick, and it had developed into CRPS, and most attorneys did not understand that condition, however with Dr. Shah having a medical background he understood completely what we were dealing with which gave us a lot of confidence that he was the right person for the case. During the process Dr. Shah kept us informed every step of the way, he was always available if we had questions, and we always felt Dr. Shah had our best interest in mind. But Dr. Shah really shined when it came down to the negotiation of our settlement. We are extremely grateful for his dedication and hard work on our case. I don't believe you will find another attorney who is more knowledgeable in medical malpractice. I would highly recommend Dr. Shah to anyone who is looking to hire a medical malpractice attorney.

Shane was referred to me after a car accident that happened my senior year of high school. Right after the accident Shane took the time to explain how the procedure worked and to not stress about our medical expenses and to focus on getting better. Following the accident I attended physical therapy for three months and saw four total physicians. Shane took detailed account of all of the expenses and physicians. Although the process took some time Shane was very detailed. Any time I had questions or needed to reach out he was there to follow up with me. I began searching for an immigration lawyer back in 2020, following a denial of political asylum after my USCIS interview. After consulting with several lawyers, Tina stood out as the one who immediately inspired confidence. She consistently provided clear answers to all of my questions, maintained regular communication, and despite her busy schedule, never made me feel like I was wasting her time. On the contrary, she always took the time to thoroughly address even the most insignificant questions. Today, I had my Individual Hearing after waiting for 4 years. Prior to the hearing, Tina and I had multiple meetings that were not constrained by time, allowing for thorough discussions on all necessary matters. I was in the difficult spot of suing my old employer. The attorney that I hired circled Melanie in, because of her specialty and good ways of business. From day one Melanie felt like a great fit. We had an initial consultation, to be sure we all were on the same page. Then, Melanie went to work.
Yes, she went through all the evidence, including every email I sent for a couple years, and read so much of it that she knew my job in and out. She asked me some insightful questions and the absolute best part, for me, was that she was supportive. There were times I could not recall specific context or details. Melanie did not grill me or cause me to feel bad; instead we would talk about the job and often I would remember what the email was about. She also went out of her way to track witnesses and gather relevant information that didn't feel significant to me, until she would explain the “why’s."
It is very stressful to deal with the legal system and there are very few that can live in that world remaining kind and thorough. Melanie is one of them. I had a very solid case, yet, I am older and the stress of being exposed to such ugliness for years felt burdensome, at best. We settled for an amount that my old employer felt, so I hope they change their ways.

Unfortunately, I had suffered an injury caused by being on the wrong side of a car accident. I highly recommend Vanessa and Dolan Law Firm. After being injured on my bike and hospitalized by a careless motorist, my expectations for any kind of justice or settlement were low because I did not have the motorist’s name or information. Despite not having high hopes, I filled out Dolan’s intake web portal with the details of my injury event. After some phone conversations, I met with Emile Davis at their Oakland office (this was prior to Vanessa joining their team) to discuss the accident, and Emile walked me through the different scenarios and outcomes I could expect, which was very helpful and informative for me as someone who had never taken any previous legal action. Vanessa connected with me soon after she joined the Dolan Law team, and she was professional and clear about how she was going to move my case along. After my medical treatments concluded, Vanessa worked to put together a strongly documented and effective case and kept me informed the whole time. Vanessa’s willingness and commitment to my case was reassuring for me, especially considering the fact that at that point some time had passed and we had still not yet managed to track down the motorist who had injured me, and my hopes for a just resolution were dwindling.
