My husband and I found ourselves having to sue a family member over real estate. It was just awful for us. We had never needed an attorney before, so we didn't even know where to start! With a cold call I found Lake. Wow did we get lucky! Lake provided us with guidance and integrity throughout the process which was quite complicated. After a rotten six month expired product shattered one of my teeth, the Grocery chain store (name of Richie Cunningham's ginger friend). .. promised to help, but ended up stalling and blowing me off... Don stepped in and got results. November 2020 I had a slip and fall, I spoke to a family member, believing that this could have been preventable, he referred me to The Wharton Law Firm, I have never been in this situation before so I contacted the firm. All this happened during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, I received a phone call advising that the attorney wanted to conduct a zoom consultation, during the consultation I advise him of what had taken place on that day, I was then advised that the firm would except my case, I was grateful. Not knowing what to expect, I went to all my doctor visits, obtain any evidence that I could, Andrew kept me up dated on every aspect of the case, if he emailed and stated they needed anything such as medical records, medical bills ect. I was able to obtain them. anytime they call, emailed the first thing they ask was how was I feeling. I woud receive some emails asking certain questions about that day, to clear up a few unanswered questions. As time went on I was still continuing treatment, I would advise them of every appointment I had, what day, who I was seeing, afterwards I would email Andrew advise him of my visit, what will happen next, I just kept him up to date on everything that was going on. Once we got to the near end I was advised of the starting offer, he advise me on each and every one through the end, he consulted with me about what to expect and how this negotiaton would take place, after mutipile offers and at that time which I agreed to settle. I have talked about this firm to my family and would highly recommend The wharton Law Firm, because I was completely satisfied. Dan Perkins helped plan my parents estate years ago. I lost my Mother in 2019 and my Father passed suddenly during COVID. I called the firm noted on the Will “prepared by” and he remembered them and the particulars of my family. I shared my fears and he assured me we would not have any issues with our case. My case was complicated by a disinheritance of a sibling and I was named Executrix. He had a detailed answer for each of my many questions. His assistant Kimberly helped me with each document/signing. I fell ill shortly after the initial proceeding and she would call and check on me. During the worst of the worst, shelter in place, court house via Zoom and recovering after an illness – Dan and Kimberly were a Godsend. I highly recommend this law office.

I never imagined that I would be a victim of a car wreck with my children in the car, but unfortunately it happened. When you're being charged with any crime, it is something that needs to be taken very seriously. Robert was able to negotiate a lesser charge of highway obstruction. My BACs were high at almost 15%. I interviewed Dallas's top lawyers and most were very bleak in their outlook.
Another top lawyer's sole strategy was just to negotiate my jail time. Robert explored every option thoroughly on the other hand. Robert does not rush working the case details with you and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. This is something I really appreciated, and is hard to find in a lawyer. I hired Robert&Baggett to represent me in DWI case that I found myself in January 2016. Robert told me the challenges that were ahead of me and since am Truck driver (CDL) my job depends on my driving licence I was in a tight situation since my blood analysis was at 0.17. My licence was to be suspended and immediately Robert asked for a hearing with DPS and we won my licence wasn't suspended. Russ, Michelle and their office staff assisted me in resolving a complicated felony DWI case. Let me just say, this was the most stressful time of my entire life; when you have a pending legal charge, you spend every day in limbo- feeling scared and uneasy about what the future may or may not hold. I am unsure if I could have made it through those months without the help of their office. As a local business owner and single parent, my life was completely chaotic, even before this added stressor. Russ and Michelle were incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, reassuring and FAST; if I had any question, I could always just shoot over an email and expect a response within hours, sometimes minutes.
