I was going through a rough time in my life. It didn’t have to do with my employment per se but it was definitely effecting my work and day to day life. I was basically being harassed and stalked by a now ex boyfriends ex wife. She continued to make false complaints on me at work, filed false police reports, and had me served with an injunction against harassment filled with outrageous lies. I reached out to Mr. Landeen through FOP when it was clear that no one was going to have my back. Simple things like obtaining the complaints and police reports seemed impossible dealing with the department I work for. Mr. Landeen handled everything for me so I could focus on getting my life back together. He obtained copies of everything I needed, helped me prepare for the hearing to fight the injunction, and appeared with me the day of so I didn’t have to worry about anything. Ultimately he got the injunction against me dropped AND was able to get injunction I ended up getting against this person upheld. He was great at keeping in contact and keeping me updated on what was going on. I appreciate his help greatly and would definitely recommend him to others.

Reuben is extremely brilliant attorney. He won dozens of class action cases for unpaid OT, commission, and illegal employment contacts. He is very knowledgeable, so he can tell you rather or not there is a case within five miniutes. He also didn’t need to charge a retainer fee because he is confident in winning the case for his clients. Unlike other attorneys, he takes time and explains to you as why there is a case. He was referred to me by several of my friends and ex-colleagues. I am extremely happy with the outcome of the case. Thus, I am willing to work with him again for “another” case. If I knew Reuben back in 2014, I would have asked him to represent me against one of the largest multi billion dollar mortgage company and also the publically traded company under NASDAQ I used to work for many years. George Kindley represented our family in a case of Elder Abuse which resulted in the loss of a family member. The facts were clearly in our favor yet the opposing entities continually put up roadblocks to demoralize us and try to "discourage" George. Not once in this almost four year battle did George give any indication of giving up or wanting to "throw in the towel" just to get it over with. We were constantly amazed at his tenacity, his knowledge of the law, and his courage to stand up to hostile opposition.
The long hours of preparation: airline flights far from home and family for depositions and hearings; the seemingly never ending rescheduling of court dates. We saw George go through this and more which often left us wondering, "How does he do it?"
His office kept us informed of our progress every step of the way, and were always there for a phone call or Email. Even if it was just to ask "How are you doing?" I believe our case meant a lot to George. The outcome was more than we could have imagined. We are forever grateful to Mr. Kindley.

I knew that my bankruptcy proceeding was going to be more complicated than most, so I wanted to make sure that I found an attorney who was a fully versed expert in the law and who was also a consummate professional. By my definition, a true “professional” not only has the requisite specialized skills; they also have a passion for their work and a compassion for their clients, which allows them to listen and understand.

I contacted the Shin Law firm after I was in an accident in Jan 2023. Mr. Shin answered the call himself. Rob,
Took a fall case for me that I had several injuries. He checked on me throughout my healing process, I never thought that he or his team forgot about me, even though my case was a bit long.
I was treated with respect and they wanted to know what I thought about things, how I was feeling and if I understood what would happen next.
Rob sat next to me during my deposition, this helped me because I have ptsd and prone to panic attacks. Robs presence caused the deposition to go smoothly and his support knowing I have this meant the world to me.

Mr. Piereck became my attorney rather last minute to a very complicated case. The states attorneys office at the last minute decided to dismiss it, but Mr. Pierick was extremely helpful and informed on all of my options moving forward and as to why the states attorney’s office canceled.

Phillip handled my criminal case for DUI. This isn’t the law he most often practices but he did everything to educate himself. He was always honest, upfront and nonjudgmental. He believed in me, he was genuine and finally we won. NOT GUILTY! But in case you find yourself in my shoes uneducated on any sort of criminal or legal process, the following is a little more detailed.
To begin, I called him just a half hour after being released from jail. My job involves driving so you can imagine the distress I was in about my license… Within the hour he was able to gather all the documents necessary as well as instruction for my completion of them in order to begin the hardship process and keep my right to drive for work.
My case went eight months before being set for trial. During the eight months Phillip was
always a text message or phone call away. He never went more than an hour without
responding, which in this situation was extremely comforting because I had no priors and was extremely unfamiliar with this process. No matter how many questions I had or how many times he had to repeat himself, he always did so in a respectful and informative manner.
Finally, looking back now when it came to trial he was very strategic and smart about how and when to explain things to me. While being very honest, he simultaneously put me at ease and gave me hope. I knew he believed and wanted the NOT GUILTY just as badly as I needed it. I never shared this with him, but in those eight months I spoke with many lawyers over the phone about my case and possible consultation. I was always unsure of whether I had made the
right decision going to a lawyer that didn’t specialize in DUI like everyone strongly suggests. But not one of them were as authentic as Phillip truly is, which is why I never met with any of them. I would argue that authenticity and trust are perhaps the most important characteristics anyone should want in a lawyer. Phillip changed my life. I would have been fired and all of the
money I have invested in school would have been nothing more but a debt waiting to be collected. I highly recommend

I got to my 50s without having ever sued or been sued by anyone, and hoped to get through life that way. When a GEICO-insured motorist hit me while I was biking, I truly tried to reach a fair out of court settlement without a lawyer. No dice. GEICO thwarted my good intentions, so I hired Alphonse Balzano. Best. Decision. Ever. He listened to what I did and didn't want in the suit, and worked hard, getting me a good settlement (way higher than I had asked for on my own) that put some real fear into GEICO. I was lucky enough to have John helped me with a malpractice case against a doctor.
