My experience with Kathryn was amazing. Not only was she amazing at keeping in touch with me about things I really felt she cared as a person and really wanted to help. Not only is she passionate about helping her clients, she is incredibly knowledgeable and touch in the way you want your attorney to be. I can be really head strong and she had no problem even keeping me in check a few times when it was needed. I absolutely would and will recommend her and her firm to anyone that needs her services. I was getting divorced right before we hit 20yrs together. I needed help and Kathryn supplied it in droves. Even when I backpedaled on going through with it, she supported me, gave me some things to think about, and in the end I figured out what I needed and she stuck by me. I have no idea what the going rate for a divorce lawyer is in Michigan but I felt what I paid was reasonable. I’m in Genesee County and we did all the consultations and hearings electronically. Email, text, zoom. It all went well.

Daryle and the entire team at Tibbs Law Office helped me during one of the most important family matters I’ve ever had to deal with.

Fair pricing. Excellent results. Hired them to represent me for a traffic violation with points. It was reduced down to a non moving violation with no points. I drive for a living so this is important to me. If I had taken off of work I would have lost wages and probably would not have gotten the same results. It was worth the money to have them represent them. We organized everything remotely and I didn’t have to miss any work. No worries through the process. Clear communication. I would recommend them!

Lisa is very knowledgeable and efficient. My case wasn't too complicated ( I had a hearing for a protection order), and she was able to get me in and out of the court room with a successful outcome in a flash. I was very anxious and nervous and after talking with her it was clear I was dealing with a formidable attorney who knew exactly what to do in my situation. After all of the divorce dust has settled, I can't imagine having gone through this process without Sheila Romell. She provided me with excellent guidance and representation, and was always there to be my voice of reason amidst all of the emotions that often times occur during the divorce process. I am 100% certain that I faired better in this process having hired Sheila to represent me! The property division laws in Wisconsin can be unfair compared to some "at fault" states, in my opinion, and I truly believe Sheila protected me and my assets from an unfair or disproportionate division.
Some attorneys will stir the pot, or willingly fight over things, it seems. Not Sheila! On countless occasions, she reminded me that the "things" I wanted weren't always worth the cost of going after them, which I appreciated. Her goal always seemed to be the protection of my best interests, vs unnecessarily bantering with the opposing counsel in order to drive up a bill. That isn't to say that Sheila isn't a well respected attorney, or a fighter, if need be! She seemed to be very well known, and carried herself incredibly well.
Going into my "surprise" divorce, I was wondering how I could afford the legal fees, and whether I would come out in one piece. After the dust has settled, I now know that I couldn't afford NOT to hire Sheila, and am incredibly happy that I did!
I have nothing but good things to say about my representation by Sheila Romell. You hire an attorney for protection, amongst other things. I felt like a lamb going against a wolf in my divorce. I was cited with reckless driving for a minor accident in a rest stop on I-81 in Smyth Co. and needed local expertise, as I have never before had to appear in court and live 6 hours away in Northern Virginia. Jeff Coale handled my case and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. I was charged with reckless driving which carries a heavy sentence if convicted. I needed an attorney to represent me. David worked with me in a collaborative procedure against a team (ex+attorney) who did not play by the rules and in fact were threatening and manipulative and didn't keep to their agreements. After the dust cleared, I did end up getting stuck with support payments, but there was at least an endpoint. David did acknowledge after the fact, when he began to hear more reports about my ex's lawyer, that if he'd been more aware of his reputation as not working in the spirit of Collaborative Procedure, he never would have advised me to go in that direction. The only problem with our arrangement was that David's office is not in the same city. Since I'd never been divorced before, it didn't occur to me that I'd have to pay for the drive to and from the meetings (2 hours billing for each meeting), but that was just my mistake. Overall, David is a good guy and represented me faithfully and with friendship. Divorce is divorce, nobody wins, life goes on.

We hired Mr. Bice to represent us in a difficult custody hearing of our granddaughter. He was very honest in telling us the situation may not go in our favor due to us being grandparents. However, during the process, Mr Bice not only bought out circumstances in our favor but fought for us all the way. He encouraged us to do everything the court requested and he even stayed in contact with DSS and CASA representatives. He attended all meetings with us as our attorney, kept us up-to-date with any changes to the case, and returned phone calls in a prompt manner. The bottom line is that Mr. Bice did get us physical and legal custody of our granddaughter. We cannot begin to thank him for his excellent service during our time of upheaval. His court room demeanor was outstanding and the judge listened to what he presented. Even though there were a few hiccups in the beginning with how some individuals viewed us as the grandparents, Mr. Bice was able to put all their minds to rest and know our granddaughter would be taken care of and loved forever. We would hire Mr. Bice again and I'm sure we will be needing his services in the future. Thank goodness there are lawyers like Mr. Bice that you can count on in difficult situations.

My husband's insurance allowed for us to have free legal consultations, so we must have met with about a dozen attorneys before finding Leslie Barrows. Every attorney we met with for our child custody case told us we could not get sole custody because it would be 50/50, regardless of how much thorough documentation we had to prove that it was not in the best interest of my step son. Leslie, and her team fought so hard for us!
This was a case that was transferred from Michigan to begin with, so they helped us get proper jurisdiction in Texas. It was an incredibly stressful time in our lives, but the Barrows firm worked with us every step of the way. They took the time to explain everything to us, and reassured us when we were anxious about the process. They treated us like people, not just another number. I cannot thank them enough. As of today, bio mom has officially terminated her rights and we will be proceeding with a step parent adoption. I am in awe of everything Ms. Barrows has worked to accomplish for us. She has worked tirelessly to get us to this point. Everything we were told we couldn’t do, she has accomplished. The best part for me is what my son told me once the termination was official. If I could give Matt 10 stars, I would. We have a Washington case that was transferred to Utah and after a lot of searching for a good attorney, stumbled upon Matt, who previously practiced in WA before moving to Utah. This man is worth every penny and then some. He is professional while also being realistic and keeping humor involved. He has never given us expectations of something that didn't happen. He has fought for us and gotten results in record time that we weren't able to get with previous attorneys. Matt has gotten more results in 1.5 years than we previously managed to get in almost 10 years. He is logical, efficient and has a keen eye for detail. I work in the legal field in WA, but once it was transferred we had to find a Utah attorney so I'm extremely picky and have pretty high standards. Honestly, if you don't hire him it's your loss, and if your ex hires him you're probably screwed. He's that good.

About four years ago I was newly married and had lost my job. On top of losing my job.My driving record was not looking so good. Multiple infractions had piled up against because I was being young,stupid and irresponsible. On a certain day I was taking my truck from one location to another. Marco Brown Is wonderful. He represented me in my divorce and later in a guardianship case for my daughter turning eighteen who has Autism. I would highly recommend him, especially if you need help with a guardianship for a special needs child. He knew exactly how to help. The process was quick and smooth. The cost was minimal. There are but a hand full of people in my life that I can say have changed the course of my life. Deborah Moss is one of these people. I was placed under arrest for DUI after being caught sleeping in my vehicle and since I had a prior DUI at a minimum I was facing a couple of weeks in jail at a maximum upwards of 9 months. I was terrified, I had just graduated law school and was about to take the Florida Bar and having this arrest on the books absolutely devastated all of my future plans that I had worked so hard towards.
Since this was not my first time hiring an attorney my wife and I began an intense process of seeking counsel through interviewing lawyers, reading reviews, word of mouth, you name it. After some time we came across Mrs. Moss and we were impressed by everything we saw and heard. From the beginning during our initial consultation she was extremely honest with me as it pertained to what I was facing. She told me it would be an uphill battle but that she would be there every step of the way (and boy was she!!)
After over a year of attempting to strike a deal with the state we were left with no other choice but to set a date for trial by jury. If you have never been through such an experience I can tell you it is terrifying. The entire process can be quite overwhelming and there are so many factors that can contribute to a verdict either going your way or against you. Mrs. Moss knows this, and she made sure that I was a part of every decision that we made as it related to my defense and when it was something I did not understand she always took the time to explain it to me, I always knew what was going on with my case and what I needed to be doing thanks to her.
As for the trial all I can say is wow! Her years of experience shined through during every part of the trial. Whether it was jury selection or her taking apart a police officers testimony on the stand she was nothing short of remarkable. Watching her during the trial brought a comfort to me that I had not felt since this all started, I knew that nobody could defend me better that she could. She fought for me as if I was her own family, and when your going up against the government which has unlimited resources to hire expert witnesses, subpoena officers, etc. you need someone who is going to take the matter personally and that was exactly what Mrs. Moss did. After two grueling days of testimony, exhibits, 10+ witness, the matter went to the jury and within 15 minutes the verdict was back, Not Guilty.
Mrs. Moss is the consummate professional not only would I use her again in the future but I would recommend her to my closest loved ones. If you are looking for an attorney that is going to fight on your behalf with the same vigor that you would defend yourself with, then Deborah Moss is the lawyer you have been looking for. Whether the matter is working itself through the pre-trial process when attempting to strike a deal with the state or when there is no choice but to go to trial Deborah Moss is an expert in the entire legal process. Given how stressful the entire legal process can be you will always have the satisfaction of knowing that you have the best of the best in your corner. My family and I will forever be indebted to Mrs. Moss for what she did for us, this an attorney that does not back down from a fight!

Debra was able to help my son out of a jam with his drivers license. He was charged with a DUI, and a high speed. Between Debra and her assistant Bonnie, we were in communication each phase of the proceedings. Our outcome was the best possible scenario. Debra was able to have the speeding ticket dropped, and the DUI charge reduced to a reckless with no points. Attorney Manning Zoll is an incredible negotiator and a truly compassionate person. All attorneys are nothing alike. I had one before Jennifer and the difference was like night and day. Jennifer listens, she's detailed and she's realistic. She crosses her T's and dots her I's as a true professional.
